I have a really good friend who's an incredible artist. I love her works and she asked me to do a collab manga with her.

 

But my talent mixed with hers would look as if she's training me to draw. Which I don't mind but,

Sometime I wish I could be a better person sometimes. TBQH, I am a complete asshole (or at least thats what people tell me, I just think I am somewhat emotionless) with no sympathy whatsoever.

I wish I could draw better. My friends tell me I draw really good when all I can draw is Chibis, and they aren't THAt good, but If I take a good 20-30 miniutes on it, it's ok. But I don't have that kind of time in the school library =/

My friend and i were going to make a collab manga also with my booksmarts to create a nice plot and dialouge and he does the main characters and i do the backrounds but in 1st hour about 6 months ago at school this guy showed him how to make someone have explosive diarrea by touching there stomach well after he crapped his pants he never came back to school.

I'm the same way. My greatgrandmother died a few months back and some of the peoples throughout my family are still sad about it. I was like "Yeah, so? She was going to die adventually." and then they took my phone away for being uncaring and ungrateful. I took it back immediately.

 

As for something I actualyl want to be better at, I want to be better at getting jobs.

I wish I was better at Conceptual Design, Product Management and all that stuff. A good chunk of Astrophysics and whatever the hell they call that stuff when you work at NASA. Rudimentary Computer Building Skills (trust me it'll come in handy) <_< would be awesome too. Multilingual in a few languages.

 

Once I get those down, then I can say. I'm good at something.

How come you don't only do certain part of the manga's art and do more of the storyline and dialogue?

Because generally in comics, the artists already do the writing as well. The production team effectively does nothing on the comic, except grunt work. I'd assume the same is for the Japanese Process.

 

Surely, she can do storyboarding (which is what you described). But it isn't all that fun imho, usually left up to the lead artist anyway. So I'm going to assume she wants to get better at it, so her and her friend can share the experience at the same time.

They could still easily work on it together, I didn't say she would be doing nothing but planning and stuff. D: Besides, her friend obviously still wants to do it with her despite not her not considering herself very good; so why should she turn down the offer? Mira, your friend obviously would still rather do the art with you than alone.

I occasionally show emotions. Everyone thinks I'm an jabroni when they expect me to care about something. They don't care about anything I care about, so why should I care about stuff they're interested in.

 

I've built an invisible "barrier" around myself to keep others from causing me pain. That's another thing that causes people to think I'm an jabroni. Meh, I don't care what they think.
