Rose
Less Hamon, Lord of Sucking Thunder.More Abundance OTK. It's the best way to play Crystal Beasts.Your also missing alot of key points in Crystal Beasts, like the fact you should never ever play more then 2 Traps at the very most.Your also missing Ruby and many other cards. Your also playing cards you shouldn't play, like Tortoise, he's bad and not worth running, better cards to run.
Monkey
I don't think Heavy should be in here... Where's Rescue cat? Well, you need to get rid of Tortoise and add Carbuncle.
Bringerofcake
-2 Hamon+2 Dragonic Queen It's clear that TC will be adamant with his current bad deck type, and NOT accept Abundance OTK, so I'll just say this:Dragon Queen is better in three ways:1) It requires only that you have 3 Continuous Spells, and not need to tribute them.2) It can revive itself.3) It's a dragon. Mysty
Less Hamon' date=' Lord of Sucking Thunder.More Abundance OTK. Your also playing cards you shouldn't play, like Tortoise, he's bad and not worth running, better cards to run.[/quote'] @Abundance: Sometimes it's hard to get 4 CB in S/T zones If you're playing CBs right, it isn't too hard. That, and Crystal Abundance is a game-winning card. Having 3 in the deck gives you approximately a 40% chance of having one in your hand in your first turn 6 cards. Will you need it at that time? No, but it'd be great to already have your game-winning card in your hand since it's pretty easy to pay Abundance's cost.Oh yeah, I didn't even factor in drawing later in the game and Crystal Beasts' deck-thinning capabilities. My (and I'm sure Rose's as well) point: run 3 Abundance. @Traps: I would rather say i shouldn't use Traps which stay too long on field, and those which I have are disappearing really quickly. You really shouldn't be using too many Traps that have specific activation conditions, since, if they aren't triggered, may hinder the Abundance goal until your opponent triggers or destroys it.Crystal Raigeki is junk. It's a -1 that weakens the goal of getting 4 Crystals in your S/T zone.Mirror Force requires an opponent's attack.Dark Bribe is okay.Bottomless Trap Hole requires a summon of 1500, but is okay.Either way, reduce the Trap line-up. @Tortoise: As I said, with Hamon it works really well. That combo saved me several times. (and have 2000 DEF) Tortoise isn't needed, and neither is Hamon. @"many other cards": like? Here are just a few:Rescue CatSummoner MonkX-Saber Airbellum and Mist Valley Soldier (if you feel like including synchros)and generally more of cards you already have in there, such as Ancient City, Beacon, Blessing, and Rare Value.Sorry if I missed some, Rose. I haven't used CBs in a while. @Ruby: I would rather keep CB in S/T zone than on the field. You know, you don't have to summon with its effect, but you'll find being able to swarm for game, whether it's because of Carbuncle or Abundance, will often win you the game. I don't think Heavy should be in here... Where's Rescue cat? Well' date=' you need to get rid of Tortoise and add Carbuncle.[/quote'] @Heavy: Sometimes you really need to clear your opponent's back row. Hmmm, I'm not quite sure how to respond to that. Although it does go against the goal, Heavy is sometimes needed. I'll let that go. @Rescue Cat: Not enough targets (current build only 2, with Carbuncle 3) Rescue Cat doesn't search out Carbuncle unfortunately, but just 3 Amethyst Cats and/or 3 Airbellums provides a good amount of Rescue search targets. -2 Hamon+2 Dragonic Queen It's clear that TC will be adamant with his current bad deck type' date=' and NOT accept Abundance OTK, so I'll just say this:Dragon Queen is better in three ways:1) It requires only that you have 3 Continuous Spells, and not need to tribute them.2) It can revive itself.3) It's a dragon.[/quote'] Hamon is better in:1) 4000 ATK/DEFYeah, stats are apparently EVERYTHING in this game. It's huge stats don't make its -3 Crystals cost worth it. And you were talking about keeping Crystals in your S/T zone...2) great protectorIt's much too easy to eliminate, like any other monster. However, as mentioned before, it costs a lot to summon.3) burn effectCrystal Abundance and attacking will win the game. The added burn is unnecessary. and that Queen is a Dragon doesn't means a lot to me since I don't have any support cards for them ;) You don't need Dragon support for Dragon Queen. It's a trend to fit dragons into many decks as boss monsters since dragons support so many themes. But the fact that it's a dragon isn't why you should run it; you should run it because it will be easy to summon and will reward you more than Hamon rewards you. Oh yeah, let me add one more thing. This may not be exact words, but:The best deck for Hamon is Crystal Beasts. Crystal Beasts are best without Hamon. Therefore' date=' a Hamon deck is improved by removing Hamon.[/quote']I'm sure he said something to that effect, but I don't remember which thread. Anyone want to find it?TC, don't kill me, I'm just the messenger.
Aximil
I see no Torrential Tribute. All versions of Crystal Beast decks should run it. No ifs, ands, or buts. They ALL run it no matter what.
~Kefka~
there should be only 2 traps in CB's as Aximil said Torrental is one it being a CB staple, and the other being Dustshoot if you want to run Hamon then fine i won't stop you, but don't run it at 3, it's gonna murder ur spell and trap zone and fvck u over in the end, focus on Abundance more and use Hamon as a back up, run 1 and side another if ur feeling bold it's already been said but i'll put it in all caps unless u missed it ABUNDANCE OTK or Crystal Cat IS THE BEST WAY TO RUN CB'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! becuase try as it might..... Stardust and Starlight Road can't negate Abundance, it's awesome like that. ;)
