Dark_Armed_Zombie
Preference wise, I prefer PSZ, but that's only because I run Zombies; I still love Gale. In reality, it all comes down to neccesity and preference, PSZ usually winning.

A Debris Dragon Deck? I don't have much any experience, but I would be inclined to say...maybe. Getting a 5-6 Synchro with it is easy, 7 pretty easy, and 8...difficult. The problem is that it can only summon Dragon Synchro Monsters. If you can overcome that, it seems like it would be effective.
Aximil
Tuner list. PSZ > Flamvell Magician > Gale > everything else
-Griffin
Gale's my personal favourite tuner since I tend to run Decks that attempt to keep the duel's pace fairly slow, so I can often get the effect off once or twice, and I don't really need the speed of PSZ. Blackwing-Master
You can't compare a lvl 3 tuner to a lvl 2 and expect to get a result. If at all possible' date=' everyone would run both because one is lvl 3 and the other is lvl 2 and both are fantastic.[/quote']Agreed.I believe Gale to be a staple. I'm not saying it's a better choice than anything else, but it's splashable and opens new possibilities like BRD and Armor Master.
.dek
I just like the fact hew does so much more than Gale and can be use for a variety of reasons like Grave control' date=' double Synchro to push for game, and the occasional tribute summon. Yes, using him for a tribute summon is not the ideal move but I like the fact the option is available to me if I find myself in a bad position.[/quote'] Your missing the point. Most decks don't need grave control, bad fodders, etc ... This makes PSZ useless in them, thus not a staple. Okay but you are missing a Point as well.Gale even though almost Unstoppable in Blackwing Decks, lacks that use in many other Decks. What i am trying to say is Gale is a powerful 1300 ATK Monster with one Great Capability but PSZ opens up a new World of Synchro Possibilities. So you will do a Black Rose or Armor Master with Gale big Deal, look at PSZ and what he is doing. With him you can make an easy Goyo,an easy Stardust, maybe sometimes you will need him for a Tribute for something good like Caius and maybe sometimes you will just need a Card on the Top of your Deck to save you. That is the Difference between Gale and PSZ or let me put it more easily like this: Gale=Black Rose Dragon/Armor MasterPSZ=Goyo/Stardust/Tribute/Card on Top of Deck/One more Monster on the field to toy around with like with Spell or trap Cards And let me put 1 more thing i played Lightsworn once with no cards in my Deck,Judgment and a worthless Trap card in my hand and PSZ in my Graveyard. My opponent was on 400.I Summoned judgment, activated his Effect he activated Torrential Tribute as a Chain. There was nothing on the Field and who do you think saved me then?that's right PSZ. I think i have said enough. This guy mentions that PSZ is good because you get goyo, but never says Bri.
zombiepromking
PSZ: If you synchro, you need this Gale: Fun in zombies, staple in BW and BW hybrids, also fun if you've got the room. Overall good Soldier of Mist Valley: Meh, not so great, i have yet to see much of a purpose, Lv4 tuner's aren't that versatile as to where the lv2 and 3 ones are. Super9990
So you're saying that feeling, that warm feeling you get after you run over Stardust with this card doesn't make you fall in love right away?
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Awesome birdy is awesome, was worth getting one. And not just for the fact that it is a tuner (it nerfs monsters lol) and can special summon itself. However, it does not fit in all deck types, but should go in many of them, therefore it is probably a semi-staple, and not a staple (definitely not a true staple, and very few things can be fit anywhere). Wizarus
Both are pretty random IMO. I guess they could be staples in some decks.
Zauls
in any DARK variant of a deck, you will see at least 1, if not both, of these cards. I tech a gale and an Armor Master in my DARK variant Plant deck. I also run PSZ (this is not my IRL deck, want it to be though) because it great to dump with Grepher/ArmaKnight.
