Never been to church. Never will.

I would still go, but nobody does any of the fun stuff that used to go on, like sacrificing virgins and what not. Also, I think it would liven the place up if they had those chicks from boxing matches hold up cards, only instead of the round number, they said what verse the preacher was reading. THEN I'd want to go.

As for the actual topic...

Disobeying my parents rarely works out well for me. Take Saturday night for example:

My parents knew I was going to the movies with a girl from work, I called them and told them what time the movie started, and about what time it would over.

In short, they knew who I was with, what I was doing, and when I was supposed to be home. There was no problem.

The problem occured when I decided to blow my curfew and go over to a friend's house instead of heading home after the movie. I got back early Sunday morning. When I woke up, my cell phone, videogames, and computer had been taken away by my dad. Just got the computer back, working my way back up to the phone. Don't really care about the videogames.

In short: just listen, unless you really think you can get away with it. Or if what you're doing is worth getting in trouble for ;)

Someone realized it was a waste of virgins. That, and they were upsetting the religions that need 72 of them alive.

On-topic, it's only now that I've reached 21 that the burning desire to flip my father off started manifesting, really. Perhaps he became accomodated in the idea that I was an obedient lamb as a teen, so it'll remain that way forever. I'm sorry, I'm 21 now, I want a life of my own. Working on that, but it's hard - it's like a completely new and horrifying concept for my dad. I'll get there eventually, but I'm sure he'll still call me every 3 hours after I move out.

I can't really remember disobeying in any relevant way so far, probably for the same reason as SaturnPaladin.
