Brushfire
Well, I could usually give two fucks about politics but this really has me rattled. Okay, lets go back a bit to before this actually happened as to who I wanted to vote for: Labour - Okay, not great, haven't done a very good job but the country is running fairly smoothly.Conservatives - Have ruined the country every time they've got into power, and David Cameron is a complete and utter idiot. Wants to bring in compulsory military service, abolish child benefits and bring in the Digital Economy Act.Lib Dem - Clearly the best choice out of the three here, though none of them are totally great Nick Clegg is a neutral man who has our best interests in his thoughts. So naturally, I wanted Lib Dem to win. Of course, that was never going happen despite many people's thoughts. No, instead David Cameron was glamorized in the media as "OUR ONLY HOPE", yeah funking right. Conservatives got the most seats, and Labour not far behind. However, neither of them won the majority so we resulted in a hung parliament. If Labour and Lib Dem merge (as I want them to), they still won't have enough. They'd also have to merge with smaller groups to reach the majority number. I still have hope though and I'm dreading Conservatives getting into power; they'd funk most things up. Cin
Brush With the smaller parties like the SNP they'll only vote on issues that directly effect them. We'll probably end up back at the polls later this year. And ANYTHING is better than labour. I grew bored of the whole thing on Friday.

Cin
Ok I mean anything is better than Brown happy? I'm glad he's gone, because we didn't say we wanted him, now we might end up with another PM who WE never VOTED for.

JG.
I don't even live in England, so it doesn't affect me. But for the sake of +1 post counts, and who I like the best, I'll say Lib Dem.
Brushfire
Nick Clegg is a roach. Tony Blair was a poodle. Funny how our politicians end up being compared to animals. Nick Clegg is doing what is both best for the country and Lib Dems own beliefs in talking to both Conservatives and Labour. I don't really want him to make a deal with Conservatives but it seems like the easier option as even if they did make a deal with Labour it still wouldn't be enough. Politician commentators have been simply poor and ignorant regarding this election. It was bad enough with David Cameron being treated like a God in the media (which in my opinion, was the main reason Conservatives got the most seats. That and that a lot of people didn't get to vote), but these clearly one-sided politicians saying that Conservatives have won even though they haven't? Lol, I'd rather see another general election than a LibCon government, but either way.
ayy lmao
Torries (Conservatives) have won, David Cameron is prime minister but he is making a coalition with the Lib Dema.
Brushfire
Torries (Conservatives) have won' date=' David Cameron is prime minister but he is making a coalition with the Lib Dema.[/quote'] Not yet. The only way he can be Prime Minister is if Lib Dem agree to the terms, and that hasn't happened yet. EDIT: Now he is.

Brushfire
He's a money-absorbed jabroni. He says he'll help the poor... by getting rid of child benefits for middle-class people, getting rid of EMA and giving us higher taxes? Ugh, what an idiot. My biggest fear is that Lib Dem have agreed to terms that don't give them much influence. If they do still have quite a lot of influence then we should be safe, because they're against things such as the Digital Economy Act and despite Nick being a total idiot in agreeing to terms with Cameron (when my parents voted, they voted for Lib Dem partly because they DIDN'T want Cameron... nice one). Hopefully it'll still turn out good.
