Gemini Swarms o.O

This is my first attempt at a Gemini Deck (IRL). Don't think i did a half bad job at it, but I think it could be better.

(I'm kinda limited on synchros right now. Quit playing, started playing again... need to go find 2 more butdragos for this deck :D)

 

Suggestions to make it better?

 

on a side note... Raptinus too big a deck breaker? if not... how to fit him in?

 

Rates? Comments? Reps for major bug fixes :D

*Whistles* While I'm not all to sure as how a true gemini build looks like, this I'm sure will make it much better. Reflecting on my duel experiences with Gemini user, I do know that they can build field presence amazingly fast, but sometimes they get off to a slow start.

 

Since you want swarm, you'll probably want something like this build:

2 Featherizer

2 Gemini Solider

2 Blazewing

3 Evocator

2 Dark Valkiria

2 Tuned Magician

2 Knight of the Red Lotus

2 Gigaplant

2 Woodland Archer

1 Card Trooper

 

Spells [13]

3 Supervise [An absolute must]

3 Gemini Spark

1 Reinforcements of the Army

1 Double Summon

2 Dragon's Mirror [Here's how you use Raptinus without losing your card advantage :3 ]

1 Lightning Vortex

1 Hidden Armory

1 Mass Driver [LOL. Just had to throw it in for the Gigaplant OTK but terribly inconstant. Pick something else]

 

 

Traps [7] Like it or not, I like traps in Gemini's.

2 Bottomless

3 Dimensional Prison

1 Dark Bribe [Cuz I know you have to have one if you have all those Warrior Strike Structure Deck cards. And also you don't want your opponent stopping you with a torrential or something.]

1 Starlight Road [iMO good card for this deck as you swarm quickly.

 

 

Theres also an Anti-Meta Gemini Build but thats a different story.

i like where this one is going.... Mass driver does seem inconsistant as you said. but i cant think of anything to take its place except to keep in symbols of duty for a grave summon to do a quick synchro summon with tuned mage. but that's still too slow. i like the giga plant otk xD

 

i like the dark bribe idea. im more afraid of solemn than i am torrential though. plus watching someone waste 4k to draw a card is funny.

 

i love the card trooper/dragon's mirror combo. Good to see you found a way to throw raptinus in. I find him vital for a lot of the gemini combos in here.

 

D-Prison ive never been a fan of. too many strong monsters that negate trap activation when they attack. I might go with a malevolent catastrophe and 2 widespreads.

 

And I forgot all about Starlight Road. Actually have one laying around and forgot it existed >.<. Definitely going in.

You know aside from dark factory... How could any of us forget to mention ancient rules in the builds? Lulzville

 

Because Gemini monsters are effect monsters in the hand.

 

Also, it seems that you have enough Level 2 monsters to merit running Junk Synchron in this Deck. It can fetch you pretty much any Level 7 Synchro, including Arcanite Magician (remember, Tuned Magician counts as a Tuner before it's Gemini Summoned). You should run at least 2 if you're using Synchros, which, judging by the Tuned Mages, looks like you are.

I like that build a lot. Seems very consistant in synchro summoning and swarming. However I have a personal hate for sarco >.< Lost me a lot of matches cuz of the 2 turn wait. Is there anything faster than sarco I can use? Specificly for spell and trap. I always find myself drawing mor monsters than anything.

 

 

@cake junk synchron could speed up the synchro summoning a lot. Archanite would help this deck a lot. Its just hard to find it in priority over brutdrago. But I should be able to work with them both. Just finding a way to fit in junk is hard

I never liked Featherizer, the reason most of the "destroyed by battle" monsters are good is because you can ram them if needs be, but with 700 ATK that option is less viable. I'm not saying it can't work, but without something like Creature Swap to really get use out of it, I don't like it. Also, Gemini Summoner is horrid, please replace it with something like more Evocator and Marauding. If you run Marauding, you must run atleast 2 if for the simple fact that having 2 on the field creates a lock with all Warriors on your side of the field.
