Three-Dimensional [PG16][Not Started/Still Accepting][OOC]

Recommended Posts

This world is not simple; it houses more secrets than those that meet the naked eye. This world is constructed of 10 Dimensions; without them, our world will collapse. These Dimensions were never designed to be seen by humans (except for the First, which we all experience), and it stayed that way for thousands of years. Then, somewhere in the mid-eighteenth century, records began to show signs of seers, people who can see into the Dimensions.

At first, they were fascinated, yet more and more were beginning to see too. They were distinguished only by the colour of their eyes, for every time a seer sees into another Dimension, their eye colour changes. Over the years, they wildly experimented, recording everything that occurred. Eventually, the idea of the Dimensions became known, yet even then, they were blissfully unaware of the Fifth to Tenth Dimensions. It was only when the first Gatekeeper emerged near the end of the eighteenth century, did they begin to see into the other Dimensions, for a Gatekeeper has the power to allow seers to enter a different Dimension.

However, those who saw into the Higher Dimensions (the collective term for any Dimension between the Fifth and Tenth) were traumatised, eventually driven insane as they tried to return to their original Dimension, yet the Gatekeepers were powerless to do so. Rumours began to spread, and it was quickly believed that the Higher Dimensions were cursed. Gatekeepers were forced into forming rules for admittance into the Higher Dimensions, and since then, very few have ever been allowed to see into the Higher Dimensions.

For the next hundred years, everything stayed the same, until the latter half of the twentieth century. Something odd was beginning to happen to certain seers; a kind of disease appeared to be spreading, corrupting their minds and bodies. The infection – observers noted – appeared as a cluster of small dark blue diamonds on the skin, spreading like fungi over the course of a week, and so they were named Diemonds.

The Diemonds were dangerous, for the Diemonds disappeared once they had fully infected the seer; mentally, they corrupted the mind, and the infected – or Diamonds, as the observers called them – would start to use “Plane” to describe the Dimensions. They were the only signs to indicate a Diamond was present; the cure for the disease has, until now, remained unknown, although allegedly only Gatekeepers can cure them.

Perhaps the most worrying result of the Diemonds is that they affect only Fourth Dimension seers; never have there been any incidents of Second Dimension seers becoming infected by the Diemonds. And now, in 2011, the Diemond outbreak is more deadly than ever, affecting more seers than ever. Now, odd events are starting to appear around a number of seers … and allegedly, even the Third Dimension seer is to be involved …
NB: This list will be updated as the RP progresses.

First Dimension:

Very straightforward, this is the dimension that everybody naturally sees.

Eye colour change: N/A

Second Dimension:

This Dimension is rarer than the Fourth Dimension. Those who see this perceive society as a whole, and can easily read people’s thoughts and feelings, as well as understand meanings and the tone of people's voices. In other words, they are flawless at being social, and they also take a sideways view at everything, meaning they think differently yet far more accurately.

Eye colour change: silver, orange

Third Dimension:

Only one person in existence at a time can view this Dimension. Nothing is known about this Dimension, except Diamonds seem to crave to access this Dimension.

Eye colour change: unknown

Fourth Dimension:

A more common Dimension, it is effective during night only. All of people’s fears and nightmares will rush towards Fourth Dimension seers, and although they physically retain human figure, to other seers they appear as monsters. When seers see, the world tends to become darker, and everybody but Second Dimension seers appear as monsters. This Dimension is literally a battle ground, as it is the darkest out of the Lower Dimensions; letting your guard down could be a fatal mistake. Any injuries dealt to other seers don't appear physically, but appears on their beast form; however, even when the seers are not in the Fourth Dimension, they still feel the effects. Fourth Dimension seers are stereotyped as evil, unstable, and anti-social; in fact, they are much misunderstood, as the impact of always feeding on fears and nightmares do change them, yet it does not make them evil. Instead, they could even be decent, very polite and popular people.

Eye colour change: red, black, gold
1. All YCM rules apply

2. All RP rules apply

3. A minimum of six lines per post is required in this RP.

4. Although the default application is for Fourth Dimension seers, only I have the right to decide who can be a Second Dimension seer instead. Please do not bug me just because you want to be a Second Dimension seer; I will not be tolerant, and you will be automatically excluded from the RP.

5. Don't post incredibly fast; I do not wish to see that the RP has progressed by masses of pages overnight.

Human Appearance

Name: Amelia Boardman

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Appearance: Amelia is 5'4", and has a normal frame. Her straight dark blonde hair falls to her shoulders, and her eyes are grey. She weighs 6.5 stones. Amelia often wears a strapless white top and knee-length dark blue jeans, with a pair of sandels on her feet. If it is cold, she dons on a crimson hoodie. She sometimes wears a watch on her right wrist, and on her neck is a gold necklace that drapes over her breasts.

Personality: Amelia is quite a sympathetic and emotional person, and she easily empathises with people. Since she first saw into the Fourth Dimension, it only made her more empathetic, as she felt sorry for all the fears and nightmares she had experienced. Her experience has also made her open her mind more, and her EQ has been continuously improving since she first experienced the Dimension.

Bio: Amelia grew up knowing about the Dimensions; her parents were very opinionated about them, and Amelia also shared their opinions. Two days after her thirteenth birthday, at approximately five minutes past nine, she suddenly saw into the Fourth Dimension. At first, she was terrified, and in her terror she ran out of her house, convinced that she was seeing monsters everywhere, as everybody now appeared as monsters. However, when she was finally able to leave the Dimension, she began to feel that it wasn't too bad, and continuously returned. Eventually, it changed her opinions, and although her unknowing parents thought she was going mad, in the Dimension, Amelia was starting to use her experience to gain some sort of status within the Dimension. As a result, eight years later, she is now more famed in the Fourth Dimension.

Dimension: Fourth

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Eramine

Eye Colour: Carmine

Appearance: Amelia appears as a hunched quadruped animal. Her shape is similar to a black panther, except she has a thick cream-white mane around her neck, and a rather feminine face. Amelia can easily become bipedal when she has to. Her fangs are noticeably longer than a real black panther, and her fur appears to have a bluey shimmer to it, especially when she stands under moonlight. When she is in her bipedal mode, her height is almost eight feet tall.

Dimension Weapon: Amelia's main weapon is a pair of emeici daggers. She wears the ring on her third finger for both hands, and is skilled enough to effortlessly twirl and use them to stab. The daggers are a metallic bronze colour, and they are made from a rather sturdy metal, meaning they will only break under very heavy pressure. The ends are especially sharper than the average daggers, and they are slightly more streamlined.
Human Appearance

Name: John Seraph

Age: 20

Gender: M

Appearance: John is approximately 6' 2", has a very skinny frame, and weighs approximately 185. He has shaggy hair that reaches to about half way down his neck, with a light brown hair color. He always wears a black Fedora hat, a dress shirt with rolled up sleeves and stuck up collar, a pair of dark colored blue jeans, and black shoes. He has dark brown eyes, and a St. Christopher Medallion that he wears as well.

Personality: His clothing and how he carries himself displays him as a cool person, however, he isn't all that cool. He tries to be, and is a real master of tall tales and loves to twist the truth. He can be pretty funny and comical, and enjoys a good time. When he saw the Fourth Dimension, he was filled with fright, but also a sense of deja vu. Most of the strange things he saw, were from his tall tales that he tells about himself, and were also twisted versions of the people that he told them to, with a few exceptions, which were all the seers.

Bio: John's father always traveleld across the world doing different things, and would always tell him ridiculious and impossible things about his adventures. He really only travelled across the world for business reasons, but he always told John he was monster hunting. His mother died when he was very young, so while his father worked, he learned to cook and clean. Of course, his father told him that his mother died killing the greatest beast of all time with him, but died in the process. Eventually, John figured out that his father was lying, and he realized how much John idolized his father from his lies, so he figured, that lying was a great idea.

When he saw the Fourth Dimension, he saw monsters and strange settings. He was frightened beyond belief, and the fact that the monsters and settings were all from his tall tales was the most frightening. Some of them were twisted, angry versions of the people he lied to, and those scared him the most. He was in class, and he showed no sign of emotion, because he learned if you never show emotion in a situation of extreme emotion, it is much easier to make a believable lie. Afterwords, he proceeded to lie to his friends about what he had seen, that an angel told him of his future of one of the greatest, and most amazing people in history. He decided to face the horrors in the Fourth Dimension often, because he had a feeling that he would be seeing them again.

Dimension: Fourth

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Falsus

Eye Colour: Red

Appearance: Falsus has long, spiky black hair, that reaches down to his calves, and it breaks off into two parts, following down seperate sides of Falsus' back, and are seperated by a line going down the back of Falsus' head. He is muscular, crimson skinned, with thick, black, scar like patterns all over the sides of his arms, legs, torso, two on his palms, and a large black scar pattern on his chest. The only clothing Falsus wears is a pair of black shorts, and a black cloak with no sleeves, which goes down to his calves, and is used to conceal his weapons. Falsus' fingernails and toenails are black, and the areas of the eyes which should be white, are black.

Dimension Weapon: He carries two daggers, with pitch black handles, and the steel is crimson. The blades curve slightly, so they can come out of their sheaths quickly. He uses them in a very quick style, and does quite a few fake out attacks, and then quickly strikes with the other blade. Another very special thing about the blades, is that there is a secret button, that when pushed, reveals a secret blade that comes out the end of the handle, and is pitch black, so if he every battles at night, his opponents cannot see the hidden blade when it comes out. (If possible, I would like to be able to put very thin wiring on the knives so I can throw them and get them back, if allowed.)
Human Appearance

Name: Xavier Lockner

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: Xavier stands at six feet one inch and weighs about 190 lbs. He's a bit on the scrawny side but he isn't weak either. His body is in pretty good shape but he's no body builder. His build is pretty typical, perhaps his shoulders are a bit broader than most but other than that not much is different. Xavier's hair is black, not dark brown, but really black. It shines almost blue with a bit of light. It's thick but stays off his ears, forehead, and collar. It can move around a bit but never really gets messed up. His eyes are a light green oddly enough. Xavier often wears a light blue t-shirt with an unbuttoned jacket, usually black or white in color. This jacket is a bit thicker than the shirt but isn't leather or denim. It allows for a lot of free movement. He often wears jeans faded at the knees but often dark blue everywhere else. He wears simple tennis shoes either all black or all dark blue in color. If it gets hot he generally ditches the jacket and replaces the jeans with simple shorts. In the event of colder weather he wears a thicker jacket with a hood. Overall, he keeps his wardrobe simple and doesn't care much to change it up.

Personality: Xavier is very much introverted, at least by preference. He enjoys observing and analyzing things. He always likes to know the "why"s and "how"s of things that go on around him. When something interests him he tries to learn everything he can about it and becomes almost obsessed with it. When things don't interest him his effort levels change from a day to day basis. Some days he'll do a lot of work and other days he won't feel like doing anything. He can be a bit closed off with his feelings and views to the point where he hardly shares them. He seems to have an aversion to trusting people. Something about opening up that much to someone is odd. Still he does like the idea of having friends and has managed to do so to an extent. He both wants and fears having a truly great friend. Seeing and entering the second dimension has made some noticeable changes to him. He's become much more extroverted bit by bit and even a bit more easily angered.
Bio:]

Nothing seems really out of place with Xavier's early life. He was born to an average middle class family in the United States and was the second of three with an older sister and a younger brother. Xavier was always an introverted child and really enjoyed playing by himself. Not to say he didn't like playing with his siblings but of the three he could most easily entertain himself. He would make up all sorts of amazing fantasies and would marvel at it all.

When he got to school Xavier showed he was really intelligent but very inconsistent. His grades would fluctuate wildly throughout the year. Somehow he would always pull out A's and B's even after his grades had been F's at one point or another. It frustrated his parents and they tried to do something about it. They asked him about why he was so inconsistent in school but Xavier never liked the discussion. He wouldn't say anything about it.

On his thirteenth birthday he got into a bit of an argument with his parents over something neither he or his parents can remember. However he was angry and he went to his room for the night to be alone. As he sat he realized his anger probably wasn't necessary. Right as he thought to go out and apologize something incredibly strange happened. It was about ten o'clock and he suddenly saw into what he later learned was the Second Dimension. It was an odd feeling. Things looked the same and yet something was different. He now seemed to understand what people meant simply by how they said something. He found he could hear thoughts of others if he tried. It was fascinating.

After that night was over he came back to the First Dimension and couldn't hear thoughts anymore. As he wanted to learn more about the Second Dimension he tried to get it to happen again as much as he could. As he did so his family and friends noticed he started opening up more and would actively speak with people. He even lost his temper from time to time which never happened. At times they thought Xavier almost knew exactly what they were thinking. Xavier himself didn't notice the changes much. He thought he'd heard of the something like the Second Dimension somewhere before he'd actually gone. He tracked down an uncle on his mother's side who the rest of the family tried to avoid. They said he was strange and always muttering about this other world. When Xavier met him he was quite odd, almost insane. He said something about another world, a dark world and Xavier thought it might be the Second Dimension until he used the Second Dimension to see what his uncle was thinking about. Reading his uncles thoughts caused something a bit unexpected. Both Xavier and his uncle were drawn into the Fourth Dimension. Xavier saw darkness and his uncle took on a twisted form. He looked like an animal yet was still somehow human. He only saw it for a minute or two and wanted to learn more but his uncle quickly brought them back. He got his uncle to talk about it and they both confirmed the other was a seer though they were able to see differing Dimensions. His uncle told him what he knew about the Fourth Dimension and what goes on there along with what little he knew about Second Dimension seers. He warned him to go back often or things might go bad for him but he never expanded on the idea. It was both an odd and enlightening experience to be sure.

Now four years later, Xavier has grown quite accustomed to the Second Dimension and the various powers that come with it. His seer uncle died about a year after he spoke with him and Xavier can't help but think it had something to do with the Fourth Dimension is uncle had told him about. It did seem like a lot of fighting went on there so the idea that his uncle might have died fighting there was a possibility. He is worried about what might happen to himself as a result or seein into another Dimension based off of what his uncle told him but he's also too fascinated to ever really focus on the idea.

Dimension: Second

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Canis

Eye Colour: A bright reflective silver.

Appearance: Being a second dimension seer, Xavier has no beast form.

Dimension Weapon: Xavier's weapon is very similar to a claymore, a large two handed sword. The hilt is roughly a foot in length and is colored dark red. The blade is about three and a half feet in length. The blade has an edge on either side and is black. Though the blade is large and heavy Xavier finds it quite easy to use the blade and can even move it pretty unnaturally quick at times. The edges are very sharp, almost comparable to a katana. Strangely though it is black in color, the blade lets off of a light when the area is dark. Xavier has noticed weak Seers of the fourth dimension fear the light it gives.
Human Appearance

Name: Eden Bane

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance:

o Eden has fairly tanned skin with short Black hair and a brown eye color. He weighs 150 lbs and stands at 5 feet, 7 inches. He is moderately strong and neither fat nor skinny. He usually wears black T-shirts with long or short sleeves and blue or black cargo jeans. Rarely he will wear a black and white Jacket. He wears common white sneakers and a black digital watch on his left wrist. He can also be found once in a while wearing his special pair of glasses.

Personality:

o Eden socializes very little with other people. He prefers silence and privacy to being with anybody. He is highly intelligent and will most commonly use higher grammar words in hard to understand insults when angered, although he rarely gets extremely angry. He is logical, tactical, and capable of constructing well-though out plans. His favorite hobby is Chess and he enjoys playing strategy games. After learning of the 10 dimensions, Eden gains the desire to access the other dimensions and eventually, become all-powerful.
Bio:]

o Eden was born as the older brother of a younger sister to an upper middle class family in the U.S. At the age of 12, Eden became obsessed with playing Chess. He quickly joined a local Chess club and was soon recognized as one of the top players. His grades at his school were extraordinarily high and he played 1 or 2 minor sports, but his true obsession was chess. One night, a couple of weeks after he had turned 13, while he was playing at a night-time meeting at the chess club, his vision suddenly blurred a little bit and then turned a little darker. As Eden shook his head to try and unfog his brain, thinking he was just tired, the opponent that he had been playing suddenly seemed to transform into a ghost-like creature. Strangely, Eden did not feel the need to freak out or scream. He looked straight into the eyes of the hooded ghostly figure, not knowing how to react. Eden shook his head and shut his eyes, believing he must have been seeing things. When he opened his eyes, the chess player was back to normal still pondering his next move as Eden looked at him wide-eyed.

For the next few days, Eden tried to forget the shocking image of the ghastly figure and went on with his life. One night, as Eden rode the bus home from Chess Club, his vision became blurry again and the world momentarily lapsed into darkness again. Eden turned his head and looked at the other passengers that were riding on the bus with him and his eyes widened. Every single one of the passengers on the bus had transformed into a nightmarish creature, each with their own grotesque features. Eden got off at the very next stop, even though it was nowhere near his home and immediately walked along the street, trying to shake it off his mind as he saw several more hideous creatures. As Eden passed more streets and saw more nightmarish creatures, he suddenly came to the conclusion that he was crazy and said the one thing he thought he'd never say, "I need a psichiatrist"

- 2 Days later

Around noon, Eden sat in Dr. Kapetsky's office, listening as he went over the procedure. "Now young man... Explain to me what is the problem." Dr. Kapetsky stated. Eden spoke slowly, correctly saying each of his words very clearly, "I keep seeing strange things at night, people all around me suddenly transform into beings that look like they had been taken straight out of a nightmare and it keeps happening." Eden said. "Are you sure you haven't taken any hallucinogenic substances as of late?" questioned Dr. Kapetsky. "Yes, I'm sure I haven't." Eden almost rushed his statement. "Usually visions such as those are only seen by a person under the influence of hallucinogens, I am going to reccommend you see a doctor immediately." Eden almost screamed in rage, "I'm positive I don't need to see a doctor. Maybe its stress related or something." Dr. Kapetsky stated back, "These visions that you are saying that you have at night, seem too unrealistic to be stress related. I think you ought to see a doctor ASAP." Dr. Kapetsky almost stated it as if he was giving a weather report. "Forget it, never mind." Eden sighed and walked out of the room.

For the next few days, Eden searched the internet and the library constantly, searching for a cure or a clue as to what was wrong with him. Eden read through every known medical book he could find, even ones that most 13 year olds would scarcely even begin to comprehend. No disease that he saw had everything that he was experiencing. One day while Eden was browsing the local library, a large red book on the highest shelf caught his eye. The book looked a bit different from the others, it looked to be very old and was barely held together. Eden retrieved the step ladder and grabbed the book down from the top-most shelf. Eden sat down on the floor, the book was titled, "The Ten Dimensions". Eden had no clue why, but somehow the book intrigued him. As he read, Eden became even more interested. It went into details about the existence of 10 dimensions. The First Dimension was the the outer layer, that everyone on Earth saw. Then there were several beings called "seers" that could see into the other dimensions. As Eden read on, he suddenly hit a section that suddenly made his jaw drop. It was about the Fourth Dimension, Seers that could see into this dimension had the power to see the ghastly creatures that haunted the nightmares of people. The author of the book even goes into detail about the usage of it and how control of the power can only be used at night. The minute Eden finished with the section, he knew that this was what he was. It described his symptoms perfectly, and more. As soon as Eden set the book down, he immediately looked at his watch; it was almost 8:00. Eden closed his eyes and willed the power to activate. When he opened his eyes again, the librarian that had been behind the counter suddenly appeared to have transformed into a grotesque-looking goblin-like creature. The smile that showed on Eden's face went from one ear to his other. It was at that moment that Eden decided on his course of action... he wanted more power. The book had described the existence of only Four Dimensions, but implied that their were 10. The ones that had been sealed by the supposed guardians. Eden imagined the possibilities if he could obtain insight into the other dimensions. "All I need is to find one of these so called guardians and gain access to the other dimensions! All I need to do is find a way to find out more about these dimensions. The book stops at The Fourth Dimension, so I will need to find out more about these dimensions.

Eden fled from his home 1 week after that, after retrieving the supplies he needed. For the next 4 years, Eden saw into the Fourth dimension everyday, learning how to control it more and more. Eden is now 17, and constantly moving, searching for the way to access the higher dimensions and gain the ultimate power.
Name: Farah Gainsborough

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Farah is a rather slim and sprightly women, about 5'5 tall and about 130 pounds heavy, though these values can often be dramatically changed by what she happens to be wearing at a given moment. She has a very slightly heart-shaped face, with her head being slightly slimmer than the average, causing her features to look vaguely pressed together. She has a somewhat pointy nose curved somewhat downward, and a small mouth that nevertheless manages to be quite active.

Her hair is a bright red, with a few black strands occasionally cropping up, which Farah hates with a passion. Generally, her hair is bound backward into a normal pony-tail, which hangs down to a bit below her midback, sometimes stretching down around her waist when unbound. Her hair is rather sleek and shiny, which takes a great deal of work each night to prepare properly, given the sheer quantity of it. Farah dislikes her hair, especially since its weight when wet is enormous, but does not cut it into a shorter style because of superstition.

Farah's frame is rather small and she seems destined to be a rather mousy woman, however it does have a fair amount of muscle on it, as far as her body is allowed to give her. She has a surprising amount of stamina, and despite being slight enough to not notice in a crowd, does have a fair bit of taunt and tough membrane to it, signifying many hours of hard labor.

For clothing, Farah takes to wearing simple, yet expensive garments, though her style is often centuries outdated. She wears a white silk shirt, plain and well-kept, over which a large formal coat is worn. A long blue Redingote is worn above it, though it seems tailored to be better imagined as a Frock Coat, trailing near her legs and fastened with various bright metallic buttons that stand out against the navy color.

Beneath the coat and above her shirt, she's taken to wearing a light canvas vest with several bright red patches. The vest is made out of the fabric from a sail (dyed red), and contains several keepsakes and mementos in it, making it a subject of immense importance to Farah.

Her leggings are a tough cotton mesh, very comfortable and yet still practical aboard a ship. She wears expensive black compact leather boots, perfect for getting grip in slippery circumstances and still moving around without being unencumbered, not at all reducing her agility. The buckles are bright and they are shiny, as if they've been polished properly each and every day.

Finally, Farah is taken to wearing a variety of jewlery, including a silver loop around her neck and three rings- two gold, one silver, and one inlaid with a shiny moonstone. All of them are for good luck and inscribed with various symbols of fortune in a variety of ancient languages.

Personality: Farah is intensely upbeat, though not necessarily sociable. She is always quick to lead, though she always expects people to listen to her without a second word, dismissing them quickly if they do not. Even so, Farah is more likely to act on her own, being both incredibly curious and easily bored, leading her adventurous spirit to quickly get herself into all sorts of trouble. She dislikes relying on others, and hates having nothing to to do more than anything. If ever confined to a single area for any length of time, she would be liable to either fidget uncontrollably or burn something to the ground, possibly both.

Making friends is difficult and yet easy with Farah, who gets along with everyone but also gets on everyone's nerves. Fun-loving and never particularly subtle or likely to be mindful of others feelings, she can often be more blunt than is necessary, and often seems mule-headed.

Though she may not seem it, she is rather intelligent and is capable of following and creating a plan- she just doesn't necessarily want to. She is perceptive, and even if she pays no attention to someone, she can still keep them within her sight range from the corners of her eyes and her vision. It's rather difficult to surprise her.
Farah was born at sea to Micheal and Layla Gainsborough, on possibly the last privateering ship left in the Brittish fleet; the Asp's Fang. A massive ship often paid to protect merchant ships from dangerous seaspace in foreign lands, Farah got her sealegs before her groundlegs, living most of her life on her father's ship. Though she knew her family well, the consistent crew of the Asp became her true extended family; she knew every one by name, and loved them all.

Her father, however, knew that a good education was required for anyone growing up. Though he imparted as much knowledge as he could to her daughter, he knew that he couldn't offer everything. And so, for most of her life, he tired a tutor to stay on-deck at nearly all times; being a rather famous emergency physician and physicist, Doctor Arnold Yellow imparted a rather interesting eduction onto Farah. Though he was only required to teach her to the level of a grade-school student, his rather bizarre, demanding and detailed study regimen had Farah advance far ahead of her peers in study, especially in the realms of biology and mathematics, especially in the physics required to build or maintain a ship.

Even with this special eduction, Micheal one day decided that Farah would have to attend a landbound high school. On Arnold's recommendation, he selected a rather prestigious private school that the Doctor himself had once attended; Saint Young's, in London.

Farah attended this school against her wishes. She'd never been landbound for any length of time, and found she could barely keep her food without the steady rocking of a boat. The people at the school were uninteresting and unfriendly, and she longed of the closeness of one of the crew members, her parents, or even Doctor Yellow, who she had grown very fond off over the years. It was in this state of miserable longing that Farah first saw into the Second Dimension, and into the truth of human society.

Initially confused, Farah was perplexed to find that suddenly, everything was easy for her. People suddenly stopped confusing her; there was no more miscommunication, no more confusion. She found that she could know more intimate details about a person simply by looking at them than she ever could by living by them for years; Indeed, at times she found it was even possible to open the mind of others to her own, as if they were nothing but an extension of her own Psyche. It was a fascinating, strange experience and even after she had returned to the First Dimension, the ecstatic thrill that came from her first sight didn't leave.

She no longer felt homesick. After brushing her own mind against the thoughts, beliefs and hopes of others, she felt almost as close to them as she had been to her extended family. At times, she thought that perhaps it was all just a hopeful dream of hers to have had that moment of absolute clarity, but to her surprise, she found she entered the state of omniscience rather often. Indeed, eventually she discovered she could even enter and exit it as she pleased, and proceeded to do so, relishing the feelings she could glean from having a relationship with all of society so far removed from what mortals could ever experience.

Farah once wrote to Doctor Yellow about this state of advanced understanding, but he seemed perplexed on the matter and recommend she get psychiatric evaluation immediately, to see if it were not the fevered hallucinations of some mental disease. Though she knew he meant well, Farah stopped talking to him about it, and decided to keep it to herself. She wasn't sure if it was because people would think she was crazy if she told them she could read minds- or if it was because she wanted to keep her abilities from the norm, and refused to share them.

Dimension: Second

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Levi

Eye Colour: Orange

Dimension Weapon: Farah wields a pair of swords in combat; The first, a large Scimitar made of white steel, with a wickedly curved blade and angled grip. Heavier towards the tip, the unbalanced weight allows them to cleave through tougher substances than an otherwise formatted blade, functioning almost more like an axe than as a sword. This blade is kept in her dominant hand and thus is afforded more control, and has a grip inlaid with red fabric.

In her off hand, she wields a much smaller Jack's Sword, which is only about the length of a forearm. A straighter blade than the Scimitar, the Jack's Blade is very similar to a cutlass, though intended more for actual combat than cutting through rigging. Not being particularly long, the Jack's blade is held in Farah's off-hand, and is used more to parry enemy blows and unleash opportune stabs rather than as a primary means of combat. The blade has a thin-shell guard, which affords her hand little defense, but is also not particularly cumbersome. Like the scimitar, the hilt is inlaid with red fabric.

Both weapons glow brightly while in dark areas. While this glow can frighten very weak Fourth Dimension seers, the average person will not be particularly inconvenienced; as it is, the main purpose of the aura is to act as a personal guide in the darkness.

I have to say, this RP sounds really interesting Magnet. Tell me if you'd like anything to change and I'll do it gladly.

Well that's the application, If you need me to change anything, I will gladly do so. I hope the Bio amuses you.

@Infinitus - accepted

@Andx - just a few tiny changes to your bio - never capitalise seer, but you must capitalise Dimension. Also, I take it you're trying to say that your character was in the Second Dimension, but they saw what they would see in the Fourth? If that's the case, then you need to change it again, caus nothing changes when you see into the Second Dimension, except your just superb at being social, and you have limited telepathy powers.

Second Dimensioners can see into the Fourth, but first they must find a Fourth Dimension seer, and then read their mind - when that happens, they are immediately taken into the Fourth Dimension. If you add onto your bio that you found a Fourth Dimension seer, then you're accepted

@Crisis King - your bio's certainly not what I was expecting. However:

-"For the next few weeks, Eden tried to forget the shocking image of the ghastly figure and went on with his life" - that needs to be changed, because seers MUST see into their Dimension at least once a week, otherwise they'll be in pain, and will eventually die

-About your doctor and the fake disease; I'm not fully convinced by this part. And also, I would like it if Eden didn't have someone to guide him.

Also, YOU MUST SPELL OUT THE DIMENSIONS PROPERLY, AND CAPTIALIZE PROPERLY

Sorry about that Magnet. Wasn't quite sure how everything worked but I'll do my best not to make the mistakes again. I've made the changes, tell me if anything still isn't to your liking.

@Andx - no, I guess it was my fault actually, I should have explained to you beforehand about how the Second Dimension works. Now accepted =)

@Crisis King - you're accepted too

I'll leave this for another day to see if anyone else joins. If not, we can start

...Well, if no one else is going to apply I guess I might as well post the second character I made. I just had to use that Fourth Dimension appearance idea I had originally for my first character, so yeah, if you don't mind it then here it is.
Human Appearance

Name: Kevin Trueheart

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: Kevin stands at six feet even and weighs about 200 lbs, he's never quite sure on that. His build is typical though decently muscular. It's clear he's done a bit of work on his arms and legs, and body in general. His hair is a dark blonde. His hair grows quite thick and gets shaggy quite easily. It's often getting in the way of his eyes and glasses and breezes often mess it up. It doesn't really come down on his neck, it just grows out. His skin is a decently colored white. Kevin wears glasses for minor astigmatism. The frames are black and thin. Kevin can often be seen wearing his community college's uniform. This uniform incorporates a basic red, long sleeve, button-up shirt with the schools logo on the front right pocket. The pants are simple light brown slacks and his shoes have to be black dress shoes. When not required to wear it, he'll often wear a simple shirt, sweatshirt, and jeans of varying and often not matching colors.

Personality: Kevin's last name, Trueheart, describes him quite well. He's a straightforward, honest person. He's easily excited and gets really energetic about things he wants to do. He hates lying and can't bring himself to do it at all. He's trusting but not to a fault. Just because he hates lying doesn't mean he doesn't think all other people do too. You have to you Kevin you're a good person for him to completely trust you. He's loyal to friends and protective of his family. He's not one to think things out too carefully and has gotten himself into trouble on occasion from acting a bit too rashly. Since seeing the Fourth Dimension Kevin has experienced a few changes. He'll now have brief periods of time where he gets lost in deep thought. He's noticed occasional periods of depression for seemingly no reason as well. Still he's not one to deeply concern himself with something he can't fully understand.
Bio:]

Kevin was born to a well to do family, both parent had made a few million dollars before they were married. They had all of two children, Kevin was the younger and he had an older sister. Despite the fact that they had a lot of money and could have easily become snobs, Kevin's father wasn't going to let it happen. He was sure to remain a moral and disciplined man and he was going to see to it that both of his children followed suit.

Kevin always met his father's expectations as did his sister. He quickly developed a quick sense of right and wrong and became quite good at guessing when a person might be lying. Kevin hated lying. No special reason, he just thought it was a bad thing that no one should do. There was really only one issue he had early on in life. He had a stunning lack of friends. The others made him out to be some stuck up rich snob that wouldn't want to associate with them anyway. Kevin saw to it that this misconception of himself be put to rest. He started conversations and before too long had a few friends and it only got better from there.

Though she was four years older than Kevin, Kevin and his sister were always quite close. Kevin couldn't really recall a time she'd ever gotten mad with him or fought with him. A week after Kevin's thirteenth birthday she died in a traffic accident during her driver's test. Kevin wasn't told until two days after. When he found out he was devastated. He didn't know what to think, his life didn't seem right. That night he lied down in his bed awake, not knowing what he was doing. Then, right there, he saw into the Fourth Dimension though he didn't know that was what it was called. He was surrounded by darkness and noticed something very wrong with his own appearance. He looked like some animal and human hybrid. Then he felt a surge of emotions. Fears, nightmares, and other such feelings. He could tell they were from other people and instead of being overwhelmed or scared, Kevin was comforted. After losing his sister he felt alone and isolated. Knowing other people felt similar pains and knew what sadness he knew made him feel better.

After the night was over, Kevin came out of the Fourth Dimension but due to his being in bed he thought he was simply dreaming the whole thing up. Then about a week and a half later he started getting horrible pains of every kind. He didn't know what was going on and then he saw into the Fourth Dimension for the second time. The pains stopped. This time he took note of a weapon in his possession and even saw what looked like other people. After coming out of the Dimension he knew it had to be real. For the most part over the worst of grieving, Kevin decided he should continue to explore this strange world he had encountered. After time passed he learned it was called the Fourth Dimension and that it was not the only thing of its kind. Kevin began noticing some slight personality changes after going into the Fourth Dimension. After six years of experience Kevin has become quite accustomed to the Fourth Dimension and has even earned a bit of a name for himself. He's not sure what all he wants to do now. All he knows is he has to continue both his life in the First Dimension, and in the Fourth.

Dimension: Fourth

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Glacius

Eye Colour: Bright gold.

Appearance: Kevin takes on an appearance like he was half man and half dog, specifically a husky. He stands at six feet five inches and weighs 220 lbs and his muscles are quite defined. His head remains mostly unchanged from his normal form. He now has light gray hair and his canine teeth are a good bit longer. His hair is much messier now, coming down to about the back of his neck and it looks wind tossed. Fur begins at about his neck and covers the rest of his body. His arms and legs are human like only covered in fur though he does have claws on the ends of his fingers. His feet look much more like an actual husky's would. He does have a tail as well about two and a half feet in length and dark grey in color. Though he does act and move a bit like a dog might his body still very much functions like a humans. The fur covering his body is varying dark shades of gray on his back and white in front. The only thing he wears resembles a large belt. He wears it diagonally across his chest and it provides a way to keep his weapon without always carrying it.

Dimension Weapon: Kevin has a whip on hand. This whip is white in color and has a roughly four to five feet in length. This whip is really more like two whips in one meaning there are two thick strands of material. There are bits of jagged metal and glass embedded in the whip to cut the people it comes in contact with. The whip strikes fast and is quite painful to be hit by. The whip is also quite resilient and does not easily catch on fire.

Same thing as before. Any and all changes you want/require will be made.

*App'd*

It was in this state of miserable longing that Farah first saw the Fourth Dimension, in all of its horror.

Initially brushing it off as a nightmare, Farah was perplexed when she found that she wasn't asleep. Eventually, she began to enjoy seeing into the Fourth Dimension each night- it gave her something interesting to focus on, a reprieve from the mundane life that it gave. Somehow, the thrill and exhilaration of risking her life each night, seeing things as they truly were, allowed her to burn off all of her negative energy and hit the world with her truly bubbly and upbeat way of looking at things.

Farah once wrote to Doctor Yellow about seeing into this dimension, but he seemed perplexed on the matter and recommend she get psychiatric evaluation immediately, to see if it were not the fevered hallucinations of some mental disease. Though she knew he meant well, Farah stopped talking to him about it, and decided to keep it to herself. She wasn't sure if it was because people would think she was crazy if she told them she saw monsters at night- or if it was because she wanted to keep her midnight excursions from the norm, and refused to share them.

Dimension: Fourth

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Levi

Eye Colour: Gold

Appearance: Levi is a strange creature that is hard to describe in certain terms. One might be able to call it a 'Sea-fox'- a grey-furred creature with a long, snoutlike muzzle, long ears and strangely long claws on the forepaws. However, the back portion almost seems to take cues from a fish, or perhaps even a mermaid, as the tail is as long as the entire fore-body. Made from brightly matted fur and scales, it is a single long red appendage that can spread out to reveal five fins, in addition to many strands of long, rough red fur that can almost resemble fins when wet. When on dry land, the fins and fur seem to dry together into a single long appendage, with a cut near the back that makes it vaguely resemble a mermaid's tail. Each fin is in the shape of an olive leaf, at various sizes; the two largest are near the base of the tail, and are several feet across, whereas the smallest fin is only a few inches.

The back legs are not merged into the tail, though they are far different from the forepaws. They are not clawed, and are bright ginger in color, resembling the color of the tail-end rather than the front. It has five digits, the farthest toe on each side having two joints to grip. The toes are slightly webbed, awarding them some use in water, and are large enough to almost resemble a human foot in a way. The sockets towards the waist are ball sockets, which allows them to move into a bipedal position, though not enough to allow walking movement while upright. Therefor, Levi can stand up, but not walk or run in this position.

The front portion, while seeming animalistic at first, does indeed have humanoid characteristics. While the face is almost entirely vulpine, the neck and shoulders are more similar to that of an extremely curved and lithe human than that of any sort of animal (who would have displaced or internal shoulders). The chest area is thicker and has darker fur, hinting at the existence of mammaries. The stomach area is reminiscent of a wolf, or other predatory creature in that it seems loose enough to accommodate quite a bit of food, though still tight enough that it is not a weak point in battle.A little lower than halfway down the stomach, the fur becomes more reddish and ginger, until it finally turns into blood-red fur around the tail.

Dimension Weapon: A pair of bladed gauntlets, similar to brass knuckles, though designed for cutting rather than bruising or crushing. Each gauntlet was created from a strip of black leather tied around the fist or claw; seven small blades were included on the edges of each strip, pointed strategically so a swat would rip open flesh and armor alike. Though seven of the razors are the only ones initially used, more are included in the binds through the arrangement of the razors. If more are pulled out, they become more obvious and retain less leverage, however they reveal two prongs, essentially adding an extra blade to the weapon. If a razor is pulled out entirely, it has the appearance of a strange shuriken with four points, and can be tossed. However, the razor then has to be replaced.

Human Appearance

Name: Charity

Age: 16

Gender:Female

Appearance: An albino, which means white hair, white skin tone, and red eyes. Charity has a lithe figure, standing about 5 feet 6 inches, and weighing about 115 pounds. Usually, she wears her normal school uniform, which is a drab grey. To avoid sunburn, she carries an umbrella and is never far from sunscreen.

Personality: A social butterfly, or at least tries to be. It's rather hard when one is outcast from society for being a "ghost." When tortured with name calling enough, she retreats to the second dimension to calm down and try to see what people really feel about her.

It isn't good.

All she does after that is retreat to some private place and sulk, or possibly cry.

Bio: Charity didn't know about her being a seer until she involuntarily "saw" about a week after her 13th birthday. What she saw really scared her. All she really saw was even more torturous than the name calling she had received over the years. It showed that even through all those names, the people who called her those names truly believed it with all their heart and soul. The only reason that she didn't commit suicide right away was because she believed that they could change.

It's been three years.

Dimension: Second

Dimension Appearance

Pseudonym: Bliss

Eye Colour: Silver

Appearance: Bliss appears in the exact same shape and size as her 1st dimension counterpart, but it's Pitch black everything except for her eyes. Black hair, black skin, etc. This is Charity wishing she weren't albino.

Dimension Weapon: It's essentially a single handed strait sword with a round ball at the end instead of a point. Basically, this is to allow either a kill or a knockout depending on the hostility of the opponent. The round ball can also be taken off for a normal straight sword, and, in fact, must be carried with the two separate.

Sorry I didn't start yesterday like I said I would, YCM was playing up.

Andx, Blazing and radio, I'll look at your apps later, Wii net's not the most convenient place to do so right now

OK, I've reviewed them:

@Andx - accepted

@Blazinghydra - I expected no less from you. I'm PMing you now (or hopefully am)

@radio - not accepted. I clearly state in the rules that ONLY I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHO IS A SECOND SEER OR NOT. Change your app to a Fourth seer.

And on a general note, because it is bit of a mouthful saying Fourth Dimension seer or Second Dimension seer all the time, I've shortened it to Fourth Seer or Second Seer

Ok.

The problem is that I based my entire app off the 2nd Dimension, so I'll just PM you a new app.

Also, when I read the "Second seer" part of the rules, I assumed it was just like normal accepting or denying, but it would be a little harder to be accepted. I apologize.

OK; Blazing, it's been two days since I PMed you so I assume you don't want to be a Second seer. If you do however, just PM me with the fixed app.

Radio, I'm going to be starting the RP tomorrow, so you should hurry up and PM me your app, otherwise you will have to wait

PikaPerson, you have to, otherwise you might as well not RP in this

I'm starting now; as of now, this is just a "practice" - i.e. the first time you, the RPers, RP in the Fourth Dimension, I just really want everyone to get the hang of it, so when we enter again, you'd know what to do.

Second seers, just a quick note - you can only access the Fourth Dimension via a Fourth seer when they're currently seeing - however, say if Amelia was in the Fourth Dimension, and another Second seer is reading her mind, then you can't read her mind, so therefore you must go and find another Fourth seer to get in. Given how this RP has more Fourth seers than Second seers, this shouldn't be too hard for either of you.
