So here's a new card + image.

 

 

 

You can remove from play 1 WIND monster and 1 FIRE monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned' date=' discard any number of FIRE monsters to return the same number of cards from the field to the hand and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of discarded cards x 500.[/b']

 

 

Could this have any uses? Can you see this be played in any decks (with success)? I want to hear your opinions![/align]

Firstly, the pic is outstanding, I guess you made it? ;D

I see it has a Simorgh-ish effect, which is interesting.

It's really extremely good - a tad OPed in my opinion, really.

A Phoenix Wing Wind Blast variant with Burn?

 

It's not exactly splashable - seeing as WINDs and FIREs rarely work together - but I think Phantom Beast - Rock Lizard is a WIND, and that has a Burn effect.

Some way of ditching a WIND Plant, and you have you have two beatsticks and a returner effects like Brio.

It has some uses and could be used in a adjusted Vulcanic Deck or in a adjusted WIND deck.

Everything is just plain perfect.

So first of all, let me applaud you. You know this format and what is on top. Congrats. So, looking at this, like Queen of Broken Hearts said, Rekindling becomes bannable. The problem is, this card requires a WIND monster. If you plan on going Starlight Road on my Heavy Storm then that effect kinda stalls the card, so that's good. Also, the discard effect, is the one that actually makes it very controversial. I beat everybody here (besides you Queen <3) thinks that you would actually have 4-5 FIRE monsters in your hand, making this abusable. Yes, that is possible, but highly unlikely. You might only have 1-2 FIRE monsters in your hand at the time, so I think it is balanced in that regard. Also, this card works very well, and I mean, VERY WELL in Flamvells. Flamvells were already god enough but this, makes them a whole new level. Considering what this card could do in todays meta, I wouldn't be suprised to see it on the ban-list, as it can be an OTK feeder.

Actually, Flamvells as a "pure" Deck fail. The only usable Flamvells are Firegod, Magician, and maybe Paun. Most of the good Flamvell Decks are Flamvell Zombies, Flamvell Cat, or Flamvell Synchro (doesn't use the Cat engine, but does use the Gravekeeper's engine, Caius etc.)

It's just that in Flamvells, you either want them to be in the Graveyard on the field. Sure, this could do it, but the fact is that it's just too situational to be useful.
