If I meet someone over the internet, I'll talk to them on the site from which I met them. If they are not availible, I move on with my life.

 

If I meet someone in real life, I will talk to them in real life. If they are not availible, I move on with my life. If it is an emergency, I will call them (how quaint of me). If they still are not availible, I will deal with the emergency without them.

 

I guess I don't hate FaceBook per se, I just have absolutely no use for it and no desire to concern myself with maintaining a page on it.

I use it. For people that arent on the net much or I just plain trust and use FB from their phone etc, like my Sister and a few others. Its just smoother to use and basic. I like it =/

i honestly think facebook was invaded by aleins from the future dressed up as old bags

 

i also think the same thing about picso but with aleins dressed as kids

 

translation-old people have taken over facebook and kids ahve taken over picso

But seriously, I don't get why anyone feels the need to debate such a trivial thing. I use it to join groups and look for old friends, that's about it. I use MSN or SAW for everything else.

What mentally inept planet do you come from? Facebook is only like Myspace because it's a social network. But wait... Does that mean every social networking site is like Myspace? Oolala. NO! In fact' date=' by your very explanation Myspace would be the first. How wrong you are.

 

Use([i']R[/i])net, ARPANET came first. Then popularized by easy to use websites like Geocities and Tripod.com. It expanded with Classmates.com (you see the add on most websites today; it started in 1995). Then Friendster. In fact, around the exact same time Myspace came out; so did LinkedIn. Bebo came out during the same year.

 

I missed a few facts and websites in that, but that's the gist. Before you bash a website for "looking like something else". Remember, that just because something was inspire by another does not mean it is a copy. And have you even seen or used facebook? It's NOTHING LIKE MYSPACE ._."

I don't have one, but that's just because not a lot of people in my classes have it. I'm not for or against it, though I have heard it's a very organized social site. ^^

 

Oh, and look guise.

I see so many sigs saying "98% teens would die if Facebook was completely destroyed put this in your sig if your part of 2% that would be laughing". Why? I find Facebook a way for me to stay in touch with friends far away and friends at school (when we aren't school)

 

Finally someone has the balls to say it.
