I've been nosy about getting a new laptop and computer lately. And since a lot of what I do is graphically intense like Gaming and Design, maybe even Zbrush and 3ds Max Maya when I get more Mouse-Using. And well...

As many of you know, I'm very Sci-Fi oriented. So I started researching Alienware computers, as their design has always interested me. And I looked it up. Apparently the...

...rounds out to about $900 with all the attachments and bonuses I want (including a smexy looking laptop bag for it). I can add on $300 and get the much larger screen, 17inch IIRC. With monthly payments applicable, it would be great to get.

This still rounds out to less than my current laptop cost me with Repair costs etc in the end. So yay?

I LOVE AlienWare so much' date=' they're just too expensive for me to get one. If I had the money though, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Amazing laptops.

Alienware Laptops use Linux (because most Game Programming is done best on Linux), and Windows Operating Systems. Mac OS does not appear on the OS Choice. What is this Mac you speak of?

The only thing I don't like are Alienware laptops and computers looking stupid.

o_O Thats what got me to like them. The Sci-Fi/Alien look of them.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.

That is one sexy ass laptop, I am even thinking about saving up for one myself since a certain someone peaked my curiosity on the subject. I would only need a little under $300... time to look for some more side work...

First of all' date=' get that stupid "~" in your name removed. It's embarrassing to the name of Kratos. It is in no way cool or manly.

Second of all, Macs are unreliable, and overly fragile. Or rather, pathetic.

I couldn't help but notice a couple of things here.

1) The tilde in my name doesn't need to be removed; I added it for a reason.

2) You're right. Kratos should commit suicide. Owait. I can do that for him. On my PS3.

3) Who said anything about being manly or cool?

4) My Mac has lasted longer than many other PC's I've owned.

The Dell Corporation currently owns the License to all AlienWare computers.

They have as of to date not improved on it since they bought the product a little over two years ago.

While the AlienWare may be an incredibly good piece of equipment, the ability to repair and upgrade this software is incredibly scarce.

Just make sure you are aware of this before you spend money on this product.
