(I am in love with the Water one) It's my pleasure to announce the rebirth of the Pokevolution Project. I will be starting from scratch as I have a lot of plans and have forgotton half of what the old project was lol. Today I bring you a Preview card, a taster if you will. Be sure to keep a eye out for PKEV in June or July 2010. The Revolution is coming.

 

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all Level 8 or higher monsters must attack during each turn if possible. The ATK & DEF of all Level 8 or higher monsters on the field is doubled while this card remains face-up on the field.[/align]

In PKEV all Level 8 or higher monsters are extremely hard to get out :P ^_^ Either through Double Evolution or through hard Special Summon. I wanted to show big :P

I'll be looking forward to the Double Evolution aspect and how you'll pull it off but until then...

My opinion is that this card would be a bit too powerful with Synchro Monsters - a level 8 Synchro Monster is not that to Summon. Probably you would want to add that only monsters which are Summoned by "Double Evolution" or that other kind of Special Summon you mention are affected by the effect of this card. I appreciate your idea to make high Level, hard to Summon monsters more powerful; but there are ways to make high-end monsters faster on the field - either the mentioned Synchro Summon, or even cards like "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" can speed up the process of getting a big monster on the field.

I have a Weedle on the field and a Beedrill in my hand, so I do this Double Summon thing to Summon Beedrill without using Kakuna?

Double Summoning will work if you have the Stage 3 Pokemon in your hand. It's a way of Jumping to Level 3 :P I will laso be adding some Graphical touches to the cards to show that you can do this.

Stage 2: Kakuna

Stage 3: Beedrill.

 

If you own both Weedle and Beedrill it's like a jump.

 

Also I was considering offering a card of the same type from the hand to Special Summon Stage 3 Pokes from your Deck.
