How do you become a mod?

Ive seen members that have 6 stars, and not a mod, and 5 that are a mod, im confused, how do u become a mod??

By proving yourself as a member who is experienced, trustworthy, and doesn't ask stupid questions such as this.

 

However, I'm under the impression that you aren't asking to become a mod, you are just confused.

 

Normal Mods - 5 Stars

Super Mods - 6 Stars

Admins - 7 Stars

 

No matter the post count.

Poor rumour. glasstin10 begged to be a Mod for at least 3 months before he finally did become a mod. That annoyed me tbh.

2. You need to be an exceptionally good member on YCM. I'm not sure on the specifics, but the mods and admins need to really take notice of you before deciding.

Though with this, theres usually a mod for each section. So theres no real need for more moderators
