evilfusion
Another deck I've been playing with for a while. Looking for comments or possible changes to make to improve it. It plays extremely well much of the time. The strategy is to utterly overwhelm the opponent with powerful dragon monsters. LADD renders them all but helpless without losing massive advantage. More often than not, LADD will not get its revival effect, in favor of tributing it or using it for a Synchro once its uses run low. Monsters: 22 [3] Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon[2] Koaki Meiru Drago[3] Masked Dragon[2] Totem Dragon[2] Light and Darkness Dragon (LADD)[2] Magna Drago[2] Exploder Dragon[2] Debris Dragon[1] White Night Dragon[1] Prime Material Dragon[2] Strong Wind Dragon Spells: 10 [1] Future Fusion[1] Heavy Storm[1] Brain Control[2] Book of Moon[2] Dragon's Mirror [2] Solidarity[1] Lightning Vortex Traps: 8 [1] Mirror Force[1] Torrential Tribute[1] Call of the Haunted[2] Burst Breath[1] Threatening Roar[1] Solemn Judgment[1] Starlight Road Extra: 15 [1] Ally of Justice -Catastor[1] Ancient Fairy Dragon[2] Stardust Dragon[1] Goyo Guardian[1] Red Dragon Archfiend[1] Black Rose Dragon[1] Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary[2] Exploder Dragonwing[1] Trident Dragion[1] Colossal Fighter[1] Mist Wurm[2] Five-Headed Dragon I tend to focus on the Dragon Synchros to maintain Solidarity, and keep the other generics around just in case they're needed. The_Duck
I suggest a Dragon's rage or 2, but that's just me
evilfusion
Strong Wind Dragon is better for the piercing aspect. I considered Rage, but decided it was a little too slow. More often than not, my opponent will be unable to have more than one monster on the field, and I'll usually have two, and with my beaters as strong as they are, especially boosted by Solidarity, a continuous trap that only supplies Piercing just isn't reliable enough. Strong Wind Dragon works well with Synchroing and early-to...any other time in the game, its piercing does a lot of damage.

evilfusion
Solidarity is invaluable to this deck's ability to overwhelm the opponents, making even the weaker dragons especially dangerous. For that reason, I rather keep two in the deck, to make it easier to have one active. I do agree that Book of Moon @ 3 is a bit superfluous, though. So, I'll swap one out for a Mirror. I'm not sure about boosting Mirror to 3, however. Golem Dragon is kind of useless in this build. It's got extremely low attack, equal defense to Debris Dragon, and only serves as an attack redirecter, when most of my dragons are usually too powerful to attack over anyway and the ones that are, I want them to be attacked more than to preserve them (Masked Dragon notably). If it wasn't a level 4, I'd consider it for Debris' revival + Synchro. Wyvern...what to take out for that?
T3RA PROWL3R
-1 TT+1 Threatening You say you want your stronger dragons on the field; most of the time, TT prevents that.
evilfusion
Ehhh...I'm kind of iffy about that logic. Torrential Tribute is a staple in most any deck, and one that focuses on beaters is no exception. More often than not, it'll just sit in my backrow as an insurance policy, and only in dire circumstances would it be activated while I have strong monster or good field presence. Roar could serve the same purpose and be more reliable in stalling, which is why the deck carries one copy already. I'm not really fond of Roar in the first place in such an aggressive deck, but couldn't really find a particularly strong alternative. It's my anti-OTK/last resort card, but is rarely ever used, again because this deck is so aggressive. Torrential is a solid anti-swarm, could trigger my own Starlight Road if I was pushing for the win, and overall will come in handy far more often than Roar will, especially if my field presence is weak at some point. Roar only stalls, TT sets the opponent back, barring Starlight Road.
