WithTheWind
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Assault Mode Activate". When this card is Special Summoned, place 2 Spell Counters on it. This card gains 1000 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 2 Spell Counters from this card to destroy all cards your opponent controls. When this card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Arcanite Magician" from your Graveyard. Possibly one of the most amazing cards evar? Field nuke, easy 1000 ATK bonus with Spell Power Grasp, easily abusable with Endymion? Discuss. -Griffin
If it didn't have those Summoning conditions, great. Still, fun card in its own build I guess.

Legend Zero
Greatest Assault Mode monster, imo. Love using my Arcanite Assault Turbo Deck. =]

byak
I'm sure a regular Arcanite can nuke the field with the large amount of spell counters on the field in a spellcaster deck. But I wouldn't know.
evilfusion
I prefer the regular Arcanite Magician. It has the same +2 counters and +1000 x counters, but it can remove Spell Counters from ANYWHERE to nuke cards, one at a time, so it dodges Starlight Road and can easily clear the field if you're running Spell Counter cards, while maintaining strong attack. This forces you to remove the counters from ITSELF to nuke the whole opposing field. Ultimately, I dont see this as worth the effort of running. It has the same issues as all the Assault Modes and it's an example of how the non-Assault Mode is superior in most cases. Stardust Assault is possibly the other superior Assault monster. Coffee Black
Amazing art... All I have to say is... Starlight Road. That's why you abuse the original magician first. Then use the assault mode as a beatstick, then use its effect when necessary. This is an all around great card.
evilfusion
I prefer summoning Arcanite, removing 2-4 counters from my Magical Citadel, and smirking as my opponent scoops, realizing they lost too much advantage to come back.
Canadian
3rd best Assault. 1st best artwork for an Assault.
werewolfjedi
ya know, she didn't put anything on, she just said "ok, funk this." and whipped back her cloak into a cape and starts kicking butt. I wouldn't be surprised she got an accel synchro form as well. I wouldn't put it pass them making it broken as hell, where when it comes back into play, it places 3 spell counters on everything it can. or maybe it will have it's spell counter ability dependant on the top 5 cards of the deck, like shooting star. (yeah, watch me think of how it could work, and it ether doesn't come out at all, or comes out as a piece of crappy crap.)
