Fraz
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Wild_Tornado Destroy 1 face-up card in a Spell & Trap Card Zone. The controller of the destroyed card can then Set 1 Spell or Trap Card from their hand. If this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, destroy 1 face-up card on the field. This card will be legal by this weekend and I'm considering siding/maining it at the UK nationals seeing as all the top decks are based on face up spells and traps (Oppression, whirlwind, mass driver, launcher, etc...) and most decks also maindeck a lot of backrow destruction like Dust Tornado and Raigeki Break that I can capitalize on because of its secondary effect. It also has synergy with LADD which is quite nice. Opinions?
darkwolf777
So its basically a Dust Tornado with an added effect? At least its a nice effect, good against times where one would MST a card you just set (hopefully being this card), and times when if you find this going to be destroyed anyway, you can turn it into Monster destruction instead. CrabHelmet
So its basically a Dust Tornado with an added effect? The first part is much weaker than Dust Tornado. It only hits face-ups and lets the wrong player Set. (I suppose that effect technically gets a bit of a boost in that it can now target you're own cards, but that's rare and situational anyhow.) The added effect is the only reason you would ever run this card. Fortunately, it's a sweet reason.
Dark_Armed_Zombie
Set 2 of this + Heavy Storm + ??? = profit? Now, I assume you can target this card when it's activated since it's face-up? Chain it to MST (if they have nothing face-up for the destruction), destroy itself, set s/t, it's ready for use your next turn.
darkwolf777
Ah right, its easy to overlook words like "face-up" when everything else about it feels so similar x.o;
