[J-Max] Yu-Gi-Oh Character Tribute Set [Realistic] <23 Cards>

Hello YCM. I have decided to do a Tribute set to the Great characters that feature in the Anime of Yu-Gi-Oh. This is a ongoing project and a spinoff from Pokevolution. I will be showing the cards using the original Japanese names. These cards are also realistic and can be used in real life :). Enjoy.

 

YGO-001 Yugi Mutou | 武藤 遊戯 | Yugi Moto

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand by removing 2 Spellcaster-Type monsters from your field or Graveyard. Once per turn, you can select 1 card from your Deck and remove it from play to add the top card of your Deck to your hand. If you use this effect this card cannot declare an attack this turn. During your opponent's Battle Phase you can select 1 card from your Deck and remove it from play to negate the attack of 1 monster your opponent's control.

 

YGO-002 Katsuya Jonouchi | 城之内 克也 | Joey Wheeler

You can Special Summon this card from your hand in response to a successful dice roll or coin toss by either player. If this card is Special Summoned this way you can decide the outcome of your next dice roll or coin toss. Once per turn you can pay 1000 Life Points to decide the outcome of a card effect that requires a coin toss or dice roll by either player. When this card is sent to the Graveyard you can Special Summon 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand or Deck with a Level equal to the total amount of times you used this cards effect.

 

YGO-003 Seto Kaiba | 海馬 瀬人

If you control 2 Dragon-Type monsters, you can Special Summon this card with Tributing. This card is also treated as Dragon-Type. As long as this card remains face-up on your field, all Dragon-Type monsters in your hand or Deck are Downgraded by 2 Levels. During your Battle Phase you can Tribute 1 Dragon-Type monster you control to Special Summon 1 "Blue Eyes White Dragon" from you hand or Deck to your field in face-up Attack Position. This card cannot declare a attack during the turn that this effect was activated.

 

YGO-004 Anzu Mazaki | 真崎杏子 | Téa Gardner

This card can be Special Summoned from your hand when you or your opponent activates a card that increases a players Life Points. When this card is Special Summoned this way, increase your Life Points by a equal amount. As long as this card remains face-up on your field, all Fairy-Type monsters you control are Downgraded by 1 Level and are treated as Tuners.

 

YGO-005 Pegasus J. Crawford | ペガサス・Ｊ(ジェー)・クロフォード | Maximillion Pegasus

You can Special Summon this card from your hand by discarding 1 "Toon" monster from your hand. This card is also treated as "Toon World" As long as this card remains face-up on the field, "Toon" monsters you control can attack on the turn that they are Summoned. Once per turn you can Tribute 1 "Toon" monster to Special Summon 1 "Toon" monster from your Deck ignoring the summoning conditions.

 

YGO-006 Dinosaur Ryuzaki | ダイナソー竜崎 | Rex Raptor

This card can be Special Summoned from your hand when a Dinosaur-Type monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent. This card is also treated as Dinosaur-Type. Increase the ATK of all Dinosaur-Type monsters you control by an amount equal to half its total amount. When this card is destroyed you can remove 1 Dinosaur-Type monster in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position.

 

YGO-007 Insector Haga | インセクター羽蛾 | Weevil Underwood

You can Special Summon this card from your hand when you Summon 2 or more Insect-Tye monsters in 1 turn. This card ia also treated as Insect-Type. Each time you Summon a Insect-Type monster you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Insect-Type monster from your Deck with a Level equal to or lower then the Summoned monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field. All Insect-Type monsters you control cannot be the target of monster effects.

 

YGO-008 Judai Yuki | 遊城十代 | Jaden Yuki

This card can be Special Summoned from your hand when a Fusion monster is successfully Fusion Summoned. When this card is summoned successfully you can add 1 "Elemental Hero" from your Deck to your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, a Fusion Monster can be Fusion Summoned without using "Polymerization".

 

YGO-009 Johan Andersen | ヨハン・アンデルセン | Jesse Anderson

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand in response to a "Crystal Beast" monster's effect activating and being treated as a Continuous Spell Card. This card is also treated as a "Crystal Beast" monster. While this card is face-up on the field, all "Crystal Beast" monsters in your Spell & Trap Card Zones are treated as 2 Continuous Spell Cards instead. If this card is destroyed you can add 1 card with "Crystal" in its Effect from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

 

YGO-010 Asuka Tenjouin | 天上院明日香 | Alexis Rhodes

You can Special Summon this card from your hand in response to a Ritual Spell activation. Once per turn you can add 1 "Cyber" monster from your Deck to your hand. If you use this effect, this card cannot declare an attack this turn. If this card destroys a monster in battle, you can add 1 Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand.

 

YGO-011 Dartz | ダーツ

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand when a Spell, Trap, or Monster effect that increases the ATK or DEF of a face-up monster(s) on the field is activated. This card's original ATK is equal to triple the increase. Monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF for each monster your opponent controls. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can select 2 of your Spell & Trap Card Zones. Until the End Phase, the selected Zones are also treated as Monster Card Zones. During the End Phase, remove from play any monsters in the selected Zones.

 

YGO-012 Mai Kujaku | 孔雀 舞 | Mai Valentine

You can Special Summon this card from your hand when a "Harpie Lady" you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent. This card ia also treated as Winged Beast-Type. When a "Harpie Lady" inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field. If a "Harpie Lady" you control is destroyed by battle, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon it in Attack Position.

 

YGO-013 Sho Marufuji | 丸藤翔 | Syrus Truesdale

You can Special Summon this card from your hand when a Machine-Type monster is Special Summoned. This card is also treated as Machine-Type. Once per turn if you summon a "Roid" monster, you can pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon 1 "Roid" monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position. While this card is face-up on the field, all "Roid" monsters you control are unaffected by Spell cards.

 

YGO-014 Behind Closed Doors

Once per turn you can switch control of 1 face-down monster with your opponent. If you use this effect you can Flip Summon the monster and use its effect as your own. During your End Phase the monster is returned to your opponent's control face-down.

 

YGO-015 Aki Izayoi | 十六夜アキ | Akiza Izinski

You can Special Summon this card from your hand in response to a Tuner monster being used for a Synchro Summon. This card is also treated as Plant-Type. Once per turn you can Downgrade this card by 2 Levels to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or below Plant-Type monster or Tuner to your field in face-up Attack Position. When the Level of this card is 0, remove it from play and discard your entire hand.

 

YGO-016 Carly Nagisa | カーリー渚 | Carly Carmine

If you control 2 or more face-up "Fortune Fairy" monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all "Fortune Fairy" cards you control are treated as Tuners. Once per turn you can pay 1000 Life Points to increase the ATK of 1 "Fortune Fairy" you control by 2000 until the End Phase. Any "Fortune Fairy" that uses this effect is returned to the Deck during the End Phase.

 

YGO-017 Mana | マナ

This card can be Special Summoned from your hand when 2 or more Spell Counters are put on cards you control in a single Turn. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all monster cards in your hand and on your field are Downgraded by 1 Level. During each of your Standby Phases you can put 1 Spell Counter on 1 face-up card you control. If you use this effect, this card is changed to Defense Position until the End Phase.

 

YGO-018 Yubel - Female Incarnate

"Yubel" + 1 or more Fiend-Type monsters

 

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. For each Fiend-Type Fusion Material Monster used to Fusion Summon this card, except "Yubel", increase this card's ATK by 1500. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent must attack this card with all face-up monsters they control. Increase your Life Points by 1000 each time this card destroys a monster by battle. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel" from your Graveyard.

 

YGO-019 Emotional Lament

Activate only when a monster you control is destroyed by battle. Reduce the Level of all monsters you control by an amount equal to the destroyed monster's Level (min. 1) until the End Phase. Special Summon a monster from your Deck with a Level equal to the destroyed monster's Level and double its ATK and DEF until the End Phase.

 

 

YGO-020 Ryo Bakura | 獏良 了 | Bakura

You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control 2 or more LIGHT monsters. Once per Turn during your Main Phase 1, you can discard 1 card from your hand to add 1 card of the same Type from your Deck to your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase on the Turn that you use this effect. If this card is targetted by a opponent's card effect, you can Tribute it to Special Summon 1 "Dark Bakura" from your hand or Deck to the field in face-up Attack Position.

 

 

YGO-021 Dark Bakura | 闇の獏良 | Yami Bakura

If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of "Ryo Bakura", you can remove from play all face-up LIGHT monsters. This card gains 400 ATK for each monster removed by this effect. Fiend-Type monsters can be Normal Summoned without Tribute(s). You can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. Monsters Summoned by this effect are removed from play during the End Phase.

 

YGO-022 Thief King Bakura | 盗賊王バクラ

If this card is discarded from your hand or sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it. This card's original ATK is equal to the number of cards in both players hands x 400. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, you can look at your opponent's hand and add 1 card from their hand to your hand.

 

YGO-023 Dragon Rider Kaiba

Once per turn, you can equip this to a Level 5 or higher Dragon-Type monster you control, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. When equipped to a monster by this card's effect, the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by monster effects. Once per turn, you can reduce the Level of this card to 1 to increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 2000 until the End Phase. Then Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position during the End Phase and its Level is returned to 4. When this card is destroyed, you can remove this card from play and discard your hand to Special Summon 1 Level 7 or higher Dragon-Type monster from your Deck. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)

 

YGO-024 Dark Malik | Yami Marik

You can Special Summon this card from your hand in response to a Level 7 or higher monster you control that was destroyed in battle. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all face-up DARK monsters you control are treated as 2 monsters each. Once per Turn during your Standby Phase, you can Tribute 1 face-up DARK monster you control to Special Summon 1 DARK monster from your Deck or Graveyard with a Level higher then the Tributed monster. When this card is removed from the field, you can removed from play 2 DARK monsters from your field or Graveyard to Special Summon this card in Attack Position.

[Parting Shot]

Are you considering Yugi and Atem to be the same person? If not, you should get a different pic for the Yugi card as that's actually Atem :P.

 

As for the cards themselves, they're quite interesting. I especially like Joey's (I've always been a fan of luck and chance myself ;)). The OCG could use a little work (Kaiba can be Npecial Summoned? :P), but otherwise they're pretty good ^_^

 

EDIT: On second glance, I'm not sure why Kaiba is a Dragon, lol. I know he's all about the dragons, but shouldn't he himself be a Warrior or something (maybe with a "This card is also treated as Dragon-Type." disclaimer or similar)? :P

Kaiba is pretty good Dragon support. I wonder if FGD could be handy...

 

Joey well... last part is unique. If you included the Extra Deck you could Summon Flame Swordsman. Unless his ace card is Baby Friggin Dragon, or Talking Croc guy. Or Gearfried.

 

Yugi plays lotsa Spellcasters... Love his Dark Magician Deck. No, I'm not in love with DMG.

I will sort all problems out lol. Yugi's effect is due to the "Yami no Games" or Dark Games. He takes pleasure in killing his opponent's so removing them is just as fun :)

lol Thanks Jolta. Yeah I especially made them to be balanced and to be used with their signature cards. The reason I listed "Cyber" as a requirement for Alexis was due to the fact she uses quite a few of them.

After skimming through a few of the cards, I really like Jaden's effect. It's very helpful to quite a few decks, including EHeros and PrismaGlads. The pic of Kaiba is awesome, and you've done a great job so far :)
