Sorrow.
Thankfully I live in California so if it ever reaches me that would be when I'm old cause it has to go around Mexico. Anyways the Oil Spill is just horrible, one person caused that spill I think and that person should go to prison, for contaminating the water. Hitting Florida that means no more bikini babes its spreading, by a lot.

Twistedchild101
I really hope they get rid of the oil spill soon. Just think about all the animals that are being effected by it.
Hymn
The spill isn't going to be fixed. Its gonna get worse. You know why? The people that have the money and therefore the means to go about stopping this' date=' only care about getting more money. This planet is screwed.[/quote'] funk the rich. Thankfully I live in California so if it ever reaches me that would be when I'm old cause it has to go around Mexico. Anyways the Oil Spill is just horrible' date=' one person caused that spill I think and that person should go to prison, for contaminating the water. Hitting Florida that means [s'] no more bikini babes[/s] its spreading, by a lot. You're an idiot. Unless it went through the Panama Canal, it would have to get around an entire freaking continent. On top of that, the currents would have to suddenly change like three times just to bring it to Cali. And if that wasn't enough, the concentration would be so minuscule by the time it got to you that you wouldn't even notice. I really hope they get rid of the oil spill soon. Just think about all the animals that are being effected by it. *affected. And you can't "get rid" of an oil spill. It happened. If you want to get rid of something, it would be the OIL, not the oil SPILL. One of the worse things about this oil spill is that they're saying that because of it, it will be almost impossible to predict hurricanes this year. Meaning that if there's another Katrina coming, a significant part of the southeastern US could be decimated. I might be going to college in New Orleans next year, so what happens in the next few months is going to be a huge factor for me and other prospective students. Clair
I heard that they were going to put a missile down there and try to seal off the leak by blowing the whole damn thing up. Probably a lie.

έκλειψη
Why don't the just use a M.O.L.E?Marine Oil Leak Eliminator, yeah... Anyways, they cap the freaking thing off using an electronic dome thats taken to the bottom against the pressure of the oil shooting upwards by remote controlled submersibles. The remote controled devices get to the bottom, drill themselves into the seafloor and shut off. Then there's time to get a pipeline running and open the dome top, sending the oil in the pipe and out of my sink.
Tentacruel
They should get a bunch of Relicanths to swim down and use Rock Slide to plug the leak.
Cowboy Dan
Environmentalism' date=' you're doing it wrong.[/quote']Ha, I agree.I'll show you what Obama is doing right now about this oil spill: Obama: This is -uh- a very -uh- serious issue that we will - ooh seashell. I rest my case.Ha ha' date=' I agree. Why do people blame Obama for this? He may be Pres. but there are already experts engineers working on the problem. He can't really do much can he? If so then what would you do in his shoes? (this questions is only directed at stopping the leak; not the clean up effort)No one's blaming the president, people just expect him to help, seeing how he's the president of the freakin' country. BulletMan
So there is a leak, right? The obvious answer is that they need to seal it. They say that the robotic subs or wutevar can't do much. I really think, that there is a straight forward way to stopping the leak. Build a huge construct of metal or concrete that would completely cover that part of the pipe. NOT A CAP! Build something that is around the same size as that part of the pipe and cut out bits so that it fits perfectly on. It won't be permanent, but they'll have something else done to stop it by then. Also, who mentioned about we need another power source? I might be able to do that...One day. If it works out to be like I want it, it would easily replace fossil fuels forever. 8)

Saturn of Elemia
I keep seeing breaking news prediction things that the oil spill, if left unchecked, could push out into the Atlantic and go up the coastline as far as the Carolinas - or further. What fun... I still don't wanna have to deal with a flaming hurricane this year...
