Well the reason it can destroy a card is because the effect is bouncing off of the mirror force, destroying another card instead. It's what i was going for before i found that picture.

Picture is great. Overall, the card is pretty awesome.

No OCG errors I can find. The effect is pretty good. Protects a card of your choice for a turn.

 

Either one of the two things happens when you use this card:

 

1. Protect a card for a turn

2. Protect a card for a turn + blow up 1 card on the field

 

So I give this a solid 9/10

A very nice card, not good enough to get in my hall of fame but it is a

I like the picture, and its a good sequal to the other mirror forces, and the good reflection onto the other monsters for a certian one, that was probably confusing but thats not the point, I still liked it

You lost me with the last sentence. The way it's written, this card destroys a card if it's activated as Chain Link 2+, but what I think you mean is that if it would be destroyed by a card effect, destroy a card on the field instead, if Magic Mirror Force was activated as Chain Link 2+.

No actually. It's not an equip card. When you activate this card effect, select 1 monster on the field and until the end of the turn that monster cannot be destroyed by card effects. IN ADDITION, if Magic Mirror force was activated as a chain link 2 or higher (basically if you countered something), then you have the option to destroy 1 card on the field.

 

It's like a weaker version of the limited card Mirror Force, since mirror force can destroy multiple monsters and negate the attack preventing destruction. This card prevents effect destruction for 1 card, while at the same time if you chained to prevent destruction, you have the option to destroy anything on the field. (Except the card you used this effect with because it cannot be destroyed because of Magic Mirror Force's effect.)

Scenario 1:

 

Activate this, protect something. Cool.

 

Scenario 2:

 

Opponent activates Fissure, chain this, protect monster, destroy another card instead (activated as Chain Link 2), profit.

 

I like it. It's simple in concept, and can be a nice backfire.

What I meant was this: as it is written now, the following scenario could occur:

 

You control a monster (let's say Shapesnatch, since it's a YCM meme)

Your opponent activates Call of the Haunted (for example).

You chain Magic Mirror Force, targeting Shapesnatch. Then you destroy CotH.

 

I presume this isn't what you intend, otherwise the card is "Activate only while you control a face-up monster. Destroy 1 card on the field. 1 monster you control cannot be destroyed by card effects this turn."

This card is either meant to be chained ONLY to a destruction effect, or it can be activated any time as a "coat", and if it is chained, you get a bonus.

 

I'm going to take a guess at what you're intending, and suggest this:

 

"Select 1 monster you control. This turn, when a card effect is activated that would destroy the selected monster, it is not destroyed. Then, destroy 1 card on the field."
