-Lightray Daedalus- Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 Well People seems to like the idea of TCG Having a Tournament. So since I got nothing better to do I'll host it!!!!!!! OK here are a couple things to start with.This Tournament will mean to have a great number of contestants....Hopefully... I'll open the first preliminary number of spot at 32....Yess meaning at least 32 of you will be able to enter...The tournament will take place during a whole week in which the duel must be made. The Current starting day will remain unknown till we have enough players....The disposition of the tournament play will take a little long since we have to give time for each duel to be held...I'll be something like this. The first 4 days the 32 contestant will be split into 8 Groups of 4 people.....in order to advance to the next round (Top 8) the four members of each group will face each other (Meaning each player must duel 3 times during this round)...later the best 16 scores will take part of the top16/8 respectively. Score will be determined by the number of victories earned during the single duels...(the amount of Single Duel won in a match).After that the top 8 players will start a simple elimination tournament going from top 8 to 2. In order to enter I'll ask for an apply:PM THIS TO ME:Username:Deck list:Deck list must be written up in this formatXX_Monsters:X x Name of the CardXX_Spells:XX_Traps:XX_Extra Deck:XX_Side Deck: Talking about prizes:I might Donate an important amount of points and reps for the Top 3 places....I might also talk to the Showcase boys so I can Give you some Fancy Prizes as well Which I should talk about later.... So I might complete this as I get more info to give you..... BTW if any mod see this and think it is a good idea...can we make this into something more official of this forum?????????? Meaning if 75% of the contestant play tcg because they dont live in Japan or whatever other country that counts with ocg material...it will be TCG only....otherwise i'll allow OCG since it opens more possibilities.... So add to the apply your place of origin or at least which system are you playing right now and we'll see... I believe the both YVD and YGOO both have ways to access both tcg and ocg cards right? YVD does and don't know what YGOO is, YN (yugiohnetworks, the place where i duel) doesn't. So again i'll enter only if it's on YN but i'll add that in my PM, also is it oke to change decks in the tournament because i would like to use this as a means to try out a few deck idears ^^. I've only ever had problems with YN :\ YVD tells me that my nickname isnt registered when it is... Then re-register it/a new one.YVD nicknames are case-sensitive/ect.
