Plot:

10000 years ago, a great battle took place between the armies of the physical world, and the powers of chaos. The battle shook the very foundations of creation, and eventually the physical world prevailed. Thus, the great lord of chaos was stripped of his soul, split into three parts, and sealed away by the physical world's great elemental dragon. The lord of chaos's three lieutenants fled and built up strength so that they may one day free their master.

Now in the present day, these three lieutenants, known as the Wicked gods, have returned and have taken control of humans in order to search for the missing pieces of their master. To help accomplish this goal they have formed a group of followers known as the Ordo Everto. They steal souls through shadow duels, and plan to use these captured souls to revive the three pieces of the chaos lord. Members of the Ordo Everto dress in black robes and make use of Dark Synchro Monsters. The seven high ranking members of the Ordo Everto, called Sins, are named after the seven deadly sins and make use of an earthbound immortal. Lastly, the three humans controlled by the wicked gods, the Heralds, use their respective wicked god cards: Wicked Eraser, Wicked Dreadroot, or Wicked Avatar.

The great Elemental dragon of 10000 years ago, Omnis-Metatron, is long dead, but his spirit lives on in six individuals known as the Element Six. These people have an unnatural command of monsters of their elemental attribute, be it wind, water, fire, earth, light, or dark. Each member has the kanji symbol of their element on the back of their right hand, and commands an elemental beast: an actual living monster that is represented by a card in their deck and shares their elemental mark. The elemental beast's life is linked with the human: if one dies so does the other. These six have a shared destiny to battle the wicked gods and prevent their master from being summoned.

Now, a Duel Monsters World tournament is being held, and seizing the opportunity, members of the Ordo Everto have entered and have begun stealing souls. Fate has also dictated that the Element six be in the tournament as well, but whom these individuals are has yet to be revealed...

 

World:

The world is very similar to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Turbo and traditional ground dueling are both very popular but there are other types of dueling as well that are less known. Also, live monsters exist and many roam freely throughout the world. However, they are rare. Sector security also exists, but instead of being controlled by yiliaster, they are run by the sentient iron core of Koa'ki Meiru. The core knows of the element six and is attempting to bring them out through the tournament. It can also transplant itself into different monster bodies for use outside its control room.

Elemental beast: Stardust Dragon. His name is Argentum-Astrum, although he usually referred to as simply Astrum. He is an accomplished tactician, and often helps Kane with his deck layout. He is calm and collected, but tends to view things from a detached, logical point of view. He likes to focus on using his claws rather than ranged attacks in battle.

Biography: Kane was born on May 27th on the North American continent. Kane's mother died while giving birth to him, and he was raised by his father, a monster biologist, high in the Andes mountains in South America. It was there that Kane met a young Astrum, and the two formed a close bond. Years later, a battle between a group of dragon hunters allied with a clan of winged beast monsters, and Astrum's dragon clan took place. Kane's father was killed trying to prevent the Hunters from skinning the dragons, but his efforts were in vain, and Astrum's clan was killed with him being the only survivor. Kane escaped, and to this day harbors a hatred of winged beasts because of what they did to his father and Astrum's clan. Kane recieved an invitation to the tournament from a sector security agent, and agreed to participate under the condition that the iron core would grant the Andes mountains protection as a wildlife preserve, so that the events of his childhood would never unfold again.

[spoiler=The Story so Far (by Majoras)]

 

The tournament has just started, the first round has just started featuring a duel between our Gluttony Sin, Seth Rivers and a random person for the sake of buffering time. In the Ordo Everto, Jane Numire and Kane Scailand have been officially outted as 2 of the Element Six. However, Jane and Kane are the only two of the Element Six that have discovered their symbols. Kane has already survived a shadow duel, due to his mark saving him for some odd reason. This is when it was revealed. Kane survived shadow dueling with Madeline, the Lust Sin. However, Madeline was able to swipe Stardust Dragon, Kane's ace card, before the duel. This has led Jane to feel bad for him, and so she had her Card Creator father make him a special card. This caused a spark of flirtation between the two and they are on the virge of a relationship.

 

In other news, Elliot has just been wormed into the tournament by Dan, the Pride sin, as he wants more subjects to feed off of.

 

Nick, the envy sin is currently in disguise as Zack Kynto, an innocent man who has befriended Jane, in a convoluded plot to get answers about the Element Six from Jane as she learns them, go back to the Ordo Everto and share all of them, then defeat Jane and steal her soul in a Shadow Duel.

 

Nick also currently covets Madeline, and is trying desperately to make Madeline notice him, as she is a possible love interest for him.

Biography:Nickie was born into a rich and succesful family in China. When she turned 10, her parents, Seeing here dueling potental, Sent her to duel acadamy. At the age of 14, she graduated at the top of her class. On the day of her graduation, she recieved a letter saying that her parents had been killed in a hostage senario. For almost 6 months, she was put into a mental hospital for temporary insanity. Before she was released, she had a little "talk" with her cards. She is imbued with the ability to talk to duel spirits and to duel monsters in their language. She is a Pro in the making, specializing with her Hellbeasts.

Appearance: Has long dark hair, a few strands extending to his chin, the rest tied back in a ponytail. He has unsettlingly sharp green eyes and his skin is pallid, yet still considered handsome. He wears a plain black business suit in most settings, but in more casual settings, or ones that require more free movement, he wears a robe.

Biography: Derek had once been an ordinary guy, freshly graduated from college with a business degree, but horribly down on his luck and in debt. It was at the lowest point of his life, after being evicted from his apartment, that the Wicked Avatar came to him. It proclaimed itself the most powerful of the Wicked Gods, and made him an offer that, in its words, he could not afford to refuse. If Derek would be the Avatar's avatar, then he would have his entire life turned around however he wished it. He agreed, and helped form the organization of Ordo Everto. However, the Avatar's influence gradually affected him, and at times controlled him directly to further enhance its own designs.

Personality: Derek is somewhat impatient and has little tolerance for incompetence, perceived or otherwise, and becomes frustrated when he feels something isn't being done properly. Much like the Avatar itself, he is cocky and arrogant when he feels he has the upper hand, and rarely hesitates to act or press an advantage.

Biography: Orphaned at a young age' date=' Madeline was never what one would consider "sociable". On the contrary, she was often viewed as a loner, albeit a loner that become uncomfortably clingy to anyone who gave her the time of day, only to hurl that person away the moment she became upset. She was never a good student, for her frequent tantrums made her all but unteachable in a classroom setting. She was placed into therapy, but no one could quite find the best way to cover her problems, and she was placed in a special institution, only for boarding, which was the only place that agreed to house her. Through an unknown source of contact, she was offered a position within an organization, known as Ordo Everto, and presented with a powerful Duel Monsters card, which she immediately took a liking to.

Earthbound Immortal: Uru

Biography: Tyson came from an abusive family, and he was bullied at school throughout childhood. This continued until his junior year in high school, when he finally snapped. He retaliated violently against his abusive father, and ended up beating him to near-death. Fearing reprisals, he ran away and stole his father's deck, proceeded to set fire to his school, and fled. He was scouted by the Ordo Everto in an underground dueling ring. Seeking revenge on the world that gave him nothing but suffering, he agreed, and gained possesion of Earthbound Immortal Uru.

And here I was half-hoping that the Immortals would coincidentally correspond to the Sin theory they're assigned to, based on their effects.

 

I may have had a little too much time on my hands.

 

Pride: Ccapac Apu (only someone prideful would attack a monster when they can instead attack directly)

Sloth: Chacu Challhua (you don't actually have to DO anything. It can burn while locking down opposing Battle Phase)

Wrath: Ccarayhua (kill it, the field gets obliterated)

Lust: Aslla Piscu (uh...nothing else fits)

Envy: Cusillu (something is stronger? Punch it with Cusillu, pitch something you don't care about, and make you opponent that much weaker)

Gluttony: Wiraqocha Rasca (gains power by "devouring" cards)

Greed: Uru (steals stuff)

Good idea, wish I'd thought of it XD! I picked Uru for wrath cuz its red, and red=anger...sorta.

I spent some time thinking of that.

 

Uru was the most flexible of them, since it could be Greed (stealing), Envy (I want what you have), Gluttony ("eat" something to have something else), Lust (a more twisted version of Envy).

 

Ccarayhua, Aslla Piscu, and Cusillu fit Wrath the best, I think.

 

Nothing says "Sloth" like Chacu Challhua, though. I urge anyone signing up for Sloth to pick Chacu, because it's that appropriate.

 

Ccapac Apu fit Pride the best if only because of how stupid I always considered its effect to be. (Why attack a monster to deal burn damage when you can deal 3000 directly?)
