DAD terrible? Of course, if you're running a non-DARK deck, or the deck you're using has not Graveyard control, or in the case of Infernities, don't want him staying in the hand.

 

If not, DAD is in no way terrible. You just have to know how to use it, and how to possibly accomodate the deck for him. And if you make up a good deck, DAD is not only a good asset, but a totally killer. No matter what format we are in. As long as there are good DARK decks, DAD will never be a terrible card.

All cards have their expiration date. No card stays good forever (But in some point it can be revived to wreak havoc once again, just not now). I see what you mean though.

Well JD had its time and is now dead. It will happen to DAD one day, we all know that, but right now it is still a great card and just as long as you know how to duel properly and get good graveyard control, DAD will be a good card for a long time.
