Hymn Posted June 4, 2010 Report Share Posted June 4, 2010 The duel is one game, while the match is the 2 out of 3 thing. Meaning that if you used this to win the first duel, you'd win the whole match and wouldn't need to play more duels. The only one that's TCG legal is Victory Dragon, but that's on the banlist. Not so much because you can win the match (as there is a rule that allows a player to "scoop", or forfeit the game, at any time, meaning they could do so before Victory Dragon attacked and play a second game), but because that tricky rule regarding when you can and cannot scoop becomes an issue, and judges tend to bring rulings out of their ass for it. Since it's an unwritten rule that you can scoop whenever, the judges have to make the decision on their own, and some rule that you can't scoop at that moment. Obviously, that causes issues, so it's easier just to ban them all. They're still neat cards though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
