Aster watched Yamato's monsters faid away due to pheniox trio, but that was way to close, another move like that and he was finished. "I dra.." Aster lookd at the card in his hand and smiled. "I set a card facedown and activate emergency pervisons, so by sacrficeing a facedown I gain 1000 life points, and now I have just enoufgh for this, Ordean Dimension Gate so bu paying 2000 life points I get to bring back all removed monsters, includeing yours." Aster smiled as Ordean, goddes of Wisdom [lv 10 ?/?] Ordean Mage [lv 4 140/1200], Ordean shadow Machine Dragon [lv 8 3000/2500], Ordean Dragon [lv 8 2800/2400], and ordean Rouge [lv 2 400/200], Aster then saw Yamato activate a card.

Jane's half-conscious body saw a huge blast hit the rafters above Kane's head. Her mind was extremely dazed and she couldn't move but she could see faintly. She watched her body be taken from the ground, limp in the dragon's claws.

 

Her body ached as it made a faint attempt to wake itself up and failed. Right before she went to sleep again, she felt her mark. But this time... it didn't feel like pain. It felt sweet, like.. warmth. She slowly fell asleep again.

 

 

OOC: Due to confusion, we never saw Elliot's mark. We felt it.

"Oh I see, well I'm glad to hear that Jane." Elliot then noticed Jane in extreme pain. "What the?! Jane!" Elliot watched as Jane fell to the floor, half unconcious. "What the heck's happening?!" Elliot then witnessed a giant red beam of energy coming towards them. Elliot was knocked down by Astrum, and then picked up. To Elliot, nothing seemed real anymore. "Wh-what's going on here?..... Why am I in midair?....." Elliot was beyond belief and fell unconcious.

"If that's what you choose, I'll activate 'Crimson Cannon', a Quick-Play Spell, by tributing Hydra and I inflict damage to you equal to it's ATK! You're dead either way!" An enormous turret appeared and Hydra became several red orbs. The orbs went inside the turret and the turret shot them directly at Aster. "I don't care if you've somehow negated my attack, if you can stop this, you're probably cheating! (Yes, he says that for real.)" Yamato smirked confidently.

Derek strode swiftly out of his office, spotting the Greed Sin on his way. Without a word, he made a gesture to follow, navigating through the destructive chaos from the arena area, heading for the nearest exit. For the most part, the man's composure was calm, whereas the Avatar was positively gleeful over the acquisition of dozens, no hundreds, maybe even thousands of souls. The arena had been crammed full of people, and they all should have become sacrificed to the Earthbound Immortal spider.

[BANZAI!!!!]

Astrum landed a few blocks from the now burning stadium, and let his weary passengers down from his back. He placed Jane down on some grass as gently as possible, then he flew a few feet away and lied down, tired from the flight and weight. Kane shook his head as if to ward off a daydream, and ran over to Jane, who lay unconscious on the ground nearby. He shook her gently, attempting to wake her. "Hey. Wake up. C'mon Jane wake up." he said, soothingly. He continued to do this for a few minutes holding back both the fear that she was gone and the tears that went with it; his mark glowing a bright green color.

Aster felt the shot pearce through his entire being as he fell over in defeat. "I...I lost." Aster looked at his cards and then he got dizzy. He fell over as his cards fell all over the ground. "How did this happen." Aster said as his eyes closed shut. Right before he blacked out he could feel the wind wash across him and the sound of footsteps comming towards him. He could hear the voices of his cards calling him, but their words were falling appon def ears.

[Bringerofcake]

"Hmph. I'm rather annoyed. That Wrath is taking all of the souls, all of them! He's stealing the souls without giving the rest of us Sins a fair chance," Greed complained to Derek as the Herald motioned. But in reality, he was more than angry, he was enraged. Wrath was taking all of the souls, and Greed wanted to own them all! Why did WRATH have to take all of it! He had to do...something. But for now, he followed Derek, dodging all of the debris that came his way.

As they made closer to the exit, Greed called up to Derek: "What's the plan?"

Jane's body was laid down gently, but to her seemingly fragmenting body, it felt as if the dragon had thrown her down with force.

 

Jane's was shaken around a little, it felt like she was being shaken almost in a washer. She was still mentally paralyzed, she couldn't say anything, but it felt like she was about to break in half.

 

Ronoa then rose from her shadow, "Please stop touching the maiden." he put his hand out, as if to ward off the boy and the dragon.

 

"Too much disruption will cause her barely conscious body to go comatose. Please leave her." Ronoa spoke with wisdom and softness, yet with a slight undertone that could cut through you like a knife.

"I'm well aware of it," Derek replied, an undernote of curtness in his voice. "It will speed up the ultimate goal. Be patient, I doubt it will all be over now. The ones sacrificed are the majority present, it is true, but it will not be all the ones we need. All our opposition must be dealt with until we have enough souls."

 

He paused at the next question. "We must regroup, first. Then we will spread out and attend to the rest. We have opposition, after all. We just need to find them."

Ran simply watched. "Awesome light show." He muttered.

Light show? I hardly see any lights.

"That's the point, idiot." He then got up and looked around. The entire cafe around him was already in ruins, but nobody cared. He simply walked across the broken ground and exited. "Now, we search."

"None of your business." Ran then began walking, and with the aid of Protheus's powers (I told you so, you're useless without me.) located the other Herald.

"Fine then, but do anything stupid and I swear I will break you." Ran's control of his body then switched to Protheus. Protheus simply stretched and rubbed his hands.

"Now then." He took a deep breath, raised his fist, and then punched the wall. It broke to his command and it echoed. He had the Herald's attention. "You don't look like a Derek to me. So then, hello, glad to finally meet you." And he bowed.

He felt threatened, but remained calm, as he normally did when things got out of hand and/or Kane needed reeling in. "How do I know that we can trust you, apparition? After all, I haven't exactly had good experiences with other monsters lately. For all I know, you could be some manifestation of that spider's dark energy trying to cause her harm. Care to explain yourself?" He said, keeping his guard up.

Tyson fled fast on his duel runner, knowing that the authorities would begin searching for him. Realizing that he would be recognized by his runner, he abandoned it, taking his deck with him. He quickly located Derek and the others, relying heavily on assistance from Uru to do so. "Told you everything would work out." he said in an overconfident, conceited tone as he caught up with the rest of the group.

Derek turned at the sound of a wall shattering, blinking as he saw that the one shattering the wall was the Herald with the Eraser, judging by the Avatar's hiss of displeasure. "I may not look it, but that is my name," he informed him. The bow was a little weird, but a sudden thrill of gloating pleasure from the Avatar told him that IT certainly didn't mind.

 

"I suppose it's a pleasure for us as well..." he said, trailing off and looking over at Wrath. "Yes, I can see that," he said. "Now, we should find the others and regroup to determine our next objective..."

 

He paused again as Madeline showed up, her hood still down. She stared at Tyson. "What the hell did you do?!"

Besides that, you should really focus more on accomplishing the mission then sitting around chattin' up contestants or wondering about what your teammates are doing. It doesn't suit you." He continued walking, letting his insults sink in a little.
