"Good I see she has a memory." he said jokingly, but still condescending. When he spoke to her next, he adopted a slightly more friendly tone. "I forgot to ask you, Madeline, how'd that duel go? You know, with the kid that you swiped the stardust dragon from? He's still alive. Did you lose?" He asked, taunting, but in a more playful way. He turned to Derek "So what's the next move, or are we going to hide until the heat dies down?"

"Do not doubt me, Dragon. I hear your pain and your concern. One shall not be lost again through misunderstanding of peace." Ronoa points to Jane's deck box, and curls his finger. The top of the box opens up and his card slips out from it.

 

"If this is not familiar to the 'apparition' in front of you, then one must get his eyes checked. The maiden is a concern of my protection, and she has a medical issue. You must leave her alone or I will make you wish you had." Ronoa's face was stern, as was his voice. He was not very accepting of doubt, especially when it came to Jane.

Derek shook his head. "Heat is not an issue. However...when you say the boy is alive, did he escape your plan with Uru?"

Madeline scowled, but Derek raised an eyebrow. "Oh...I seem to recall being told Nick dueled the kid in question, but it was actually you? Not surprising, I thought the story didn't add up that well, but why it was hidden in such a way, I'm not sure."

Nick grumbles, completely ignoring the fact that Uru just caused havoc for the fact that noone ever tells him anything. He walks around, looking for the other Sins and Heralds. Naturally, he didn't expect to find anything and part of him didn't even want to find them. He was getting pretty tired of always having to find other people, and never given any thought from anyone else.

 

He could bet money right now he was getting talked about right now, and not even in the good way. He grunts, pulling out his deck, "I cannot believe these ignorant asses. I'm sure everyone knew about this bull except for me. Why is everyone else always viewed as important? Why can't I be important in anyone's eyes? Especially... ergh nevermind! Where are they!?" he continues to search around, feeling like a shamefully lost dog.

"Well there you are Nick...." Dan stated as he calmly walked towards him. "Well, you looked, irritated.... Someone pissed you off again today? Well everyday this happens to say the least....." Dan removed his cell phone from his pocket and checked the time then putting it back in his pocket again. "Well, it seems my plans for this tournament has been ruined....."

A little boy with blonde hair sat in a sandbox crying. On the ground next to him were ripped Duel Monsters cards. "{Crying}" Another young boy walked by, he was hidden by a large jungle gym. "Why are you crying?"

 

"{Crying} M-m-my cards...."

 

"Your cards? I see.... Did you ripped them by accident?"

 

"{Crying} No.... some of these bullies ripped them and then shoved me to the ground...."

 

"Well did you do something back?"

 

"{Crying} No....."

Nick grumbles, "Like you would win anyway." he says, poking fun at Dan's pride. "Hey, shut up. Not my fault that I'm jealous because I'm never told anything. Did YOU know anything about this debauchery of a plan? Cuz I sure would have loved to know." he got angrier,

 

"And worse off, Madeline just walks away from me now! She doesn't even care what I have to say! I'm telling you man, we gotta stick together, because everyone else just make us look like fools on purpose, I swear man." he puts away his deck, "Not too much longer before I give Tyson what he deserves." he chuckles, and everrrrrrrryone else who has caused me this jealousy.

Melody was taken back by all of what was just going on, "Wh-what is that thing!? Huh!?" just then, Melody falls to the ground, gripping her arm. What was this pain? She pulls up the sleeve on her sweatshirt to see these long, flame-like markings around her Arm, and on her forearm was the Kanji mark of FIRE.

 

Wait.... Melody remembers the marks she noticed on Jane's hand when they met, Maybe they know something about this strange sensation, but where are they?

"Did you just say I won't be able to win?...." Dan asked with irritation shown vibrantly on his face. A vein popped up on his forehead, showing his visible anger growing stronger. But just then, Dan cool down and regain his composture. "Humph, I know nothing of the plan. I'm rather annoyed at it, but I wasn't any part of it. Tyson must've snapped to think of such a ridiculous plan as this. So, I guess it's true, how you feel about Madeline." Dan then walked away a little bit and picked up something off of the ground and put into his pocket. "Oh, and speak for yourself when you say everyone makes us look like fools. I'm not a fool Nick...." Dan stated with his back turned to Nick. "Well, then if you want revenge, then why don't you do something about it instead of standing here talking to little old me?"

[~Duo~]

Yamato smirked contentedly as his opponent's Life Points dropped down to 0. Now that Uru has already been offered his sacrifices, I think I'll just leave him alone. He turned and with a swish of his cloak, he disappeared.

 

He reappeared in a strange place, with a few other people also there. He smiled and held out "Earthbound Immortal - Cusillu" as a confirmation that he was the Sin of Gluttony. He gave his attention to Tyson. "So..." he murmured to him, "Good job on your success, although your actions rid me of some entertainment."

[BANZAI!!!!]

"To be honest, I'm not sure. I would assume so, given that he already survived a shadow duel, Derek." Tyson said, pondering this fact. "As for Nick, I'm sure he was just jealous and wanted to claim the victory for himself. Doesn't matter though, we'll take 'em out in no time." He smiled at the thought of more destruction. "Well, if heat isn't an issue, then why don't we go back there and clean up a bit. Uru and I were thorough, but I doubt we got all the people in that stadium." Tyson said, gleeful at rubbing his success in the others' faces and at the thought of more victims.

Kane and Astrum looked at Ronoa, who was now holding his very own duel monster card, with surprise and a little bit of awe. Whoever, or whatever this thing was, it knew how to strike a cord in them both. For Kane, it also brought back painful memories of his late father, and these came flooding back to him with Ronoa's words. Astrum was more preoccupied with the card than the past. "Y-you're like... me!" he said, astonished.

Derek nodded thoughtfully. Tyson did have a point. If the boy had evaded Uru, like he had evaded his fate in conclusion of a shadow duel, then they needed to find a way to take out the threat. However, he saw little point to scavenging a ruined stadium. "If you deem it necessary to sponge up unlikely evaders, feel free to do so," he told the Wrath Sin. As for the rest of us, we could set our sights on those who are OUTSIDE the stadium and who we have a much better chance of actualy finding."

[~Duo~]

Yamato, once more ignored, was irritated. He stood there, doing nothing, saying nothing, almost not blinking. He sighed discontentedly. Oh, well. I shall wait... if it ever happens. His eyes looked around through the Sins and Derek's faces and he just stood there, unmoving. Then, his mood became amused. Hm... I wonder..., he thought with interest, with eyes on Nick. He then assumed his previous irritated expression and stood there, doing nothing but waiting.

"I've got you right where I want you."

Phineas was staring down a situation he really wanted to have avoided. His opponent had taken a huge beating (LP:900), and turned around and cleared his field of all but a face-down and one card in Phineas' hand. Consulting his cards, Fin realized that he had a 1/3 shot at a win, and 2/3 shot at getting his soul drained by Ordo Everto. It was all down to his opponent. (LP:1100).

"I draw! And activate Mystical Space Typhoon! This will destroy your facedown card, and any hope you have remaining!"

That was it! Victory was in hand!

"Sorry, but the card you just activated has sealed your own doom. Activate Dark Deal. With this, at the cost of 1000 Life Points, I can convert your card's effect into something more suitable. Say, discarding a card from my hand?" (LP:100)

The card flipped up and glowed. The wind bursting from the opponent's card changed direction and blasted the card in Fin's hand. After it settled, a demon clad in crimson and carrying two torches appeared.

"Of course, Crimm, Arsonist of Dark World LIKES to be discarded. When he is, and by my opponent's card effect (remember, your Typhoon is still your card), I can deal 1500 damage to you."

The demon hurled his torches, cackling as he did so. The Everto member let out a horrifying yell, and something ethereal and pearly white escaped from his torso. (LP: 0)

Fin sighed.

We need to keep moving.

"I know. I know."

He took off running, the giant spider in the distance towering over everything.

"But you know I hate killing," Fin continued, "and that's precisely what we just did."

That may be, but it was his choice to assault us in the first place. He got in the way and had to be exterminated.

He arrived at one of the gates to the stadium, which was blocked by debris. "Damn," Fin said out loud. "What are we to do now?

[Serenade]

Ronoa made a mental note,

 

These guys have the worst case of a lack of focus...

 

Ronoa redirects his attention, "Without too much more interruption, the maiden should wake soon. But for now, why don't you do normal human things... like... like have a picnic." he motions at the empty space and slowly sinks back into Jane's surrounding area. Jane still lay there, near lifeless from her panic attack.

Nick was taken a bit back by that, "What's true? I'd just hate to see one of the only tolerable sins get in over her head because she's so damn head over heels for everyone she can get to wrap around her finger. Cept me... I mean, er. Shut up!" he pushed Dan a little, and then nodded, "Yeah... maybe you're on to something there, Pride. Eh... I'm no good at revenge. I'll leave it to that lab rat Wrath." he laughed, thinking how true he thought his last statement was. He continued to walk.

Melody felt an attraction to a certain spot from this mark, she slowly moved out of the stadium, not only because of the massive pain seemingly ripping her arm in different directions, but because she didn't want to pop out like a sore thumb.

Dan gave a slight smile towards Nick. "Humph.... Are you denying your feelings for Madeline?.... Well, guess it's none of my concern how you'll get her to notice you, but let me tell you something, don't try so hard to get her to notice you. or else that will make you appear weak, and Madeline is someone who likes power. Anyways, I think I've found another of the Six, however, due to Tyson's plan, the power outage made it impossible for me to see who it was. So that means we have no leads at all. Well actually, there is a lead because we know it is someone in the stadium, and considering where the person was, it might be true that the person was a duelist in the tournament...." Dan explained as he walked along with Nick.
