"Well...that makes 43" Seth looked at the small group of lifeless bodies he had left behind, he sighed in boredom, he usual Grey eyes a sickly yellow color. "Now then...are you happy with that Rasca?" he asked his duel disk, which did not respond the way he wanted. "fine then, I'll just go ahead and find myself one of the six...but the only one I remember is that girl Jane...hmm...but I sense that guy as well....he rhymed with Jane....Lane? no that's silly, Wayne....maybe, Kane? yeah. that's it" he said with an unenthusiastic tone. He looked towards the sky and smelled the air... "I don't have a good lead...but I smell him....and her....and soon enough the other 4 should appear to me....I guess it's time for the Sloth to become proactive...." He stepped forward and looked on the ground, he had just stepped on one duelists he defeated. "can't leave a mess no can I...." he snapped his fingers and their lifeless shells turned black and cracked as they became ash, scattering in the wind.

Yamato, grudgingly, left with a swish of his cloak and reappeared back in the arena of the tournament. He smiled, and with a thought of amusement, he took out a egg-sized crystal from his cloak. I might as well ride a few laps to keep me interested or else I might bore myself to death. Yamato clenched the gem hard in his palm and it shattered into dust. The remnants of the gem froze in mid-air, and began to enlarge more and more, then, when they were the size of pumpkins, they came together and formed a shape like a Duel Runner. Yamato got on, placed a purple marble where the Duel Disk would go, and revved the engine. With a whoop of excitement, Yamato sped through the course at over 80 miles per hour, paying attention to nothing but the road.

"....I dun get it, if you burn the card then how can anyone use it in a card game....? Oh never mind." Ran-Protheus said to nobody in particular and then Ran took control again, furious.

"You made me look stupid." He muttered.

Only pointing out the obvious, only pointing out the obvious. A smart person would analyze his surroundings, judge other's way of thinking and their view on things. By acting as I did, I learned them. See how superior I am to you? I have more information than the God of Uncreation.

 

The Eraser heard this, and was super-angry with his claim on knowledge. "YOU DON'T KNOW THE LIMIT OF MY KNOWLEDGE, MORTAL."

"Of course I don't, but do you know the way of psychics? The way how time and space actually works? The way how we all even exist and how our creators exist? And what was time like before they existed? No. And besides, I'm not even mortal."

"AND DO YOU KNOW ALL THESE THINGS?"

"Yes. As a matter of fact, I do."

"Yes i did. I made this girl look like a fool, and Uru got a little snack of fried duel runner." he laughed. Making fun of his victims made things interesting, especially when others found it funny. He answered her question about who claimed what people. "Sure thing, Maddey." he said, attempting once again to make her mad at him. "I'll let you clean up your little mistake, just so long as I get some victims. Are we clear?" he said, again mockingly. He pulled his deck box of his belt, and slipped the cards into his black and red duel disk. Tyson then took out one of the hologram projectors from it, and replaced the device with a different one from his belt. "This should make my Volcanics all the more scary." he said.

"And just who might you be?" Kane asked, having stood up and re-composed himself. "I don't have time for anyone's bull today, in case you didn't notice." he said angrily as his mark turned a bright yellow green, indicating danger to Kane. As a precaution, he attached his duel disk to his arm, just in case it was someone like Madeline targeting him, which seemed likely, at this point.

 

"I'm sorry Jane, but we will have to talk later." Astrum said as he too stood, but not before he gave Jane a short, comforting hug, again careful not to cut her with his claws. "You know, its not wise to threaten those who could rip you to pieces." Astrum said, hovering over to Kane's side while looking at the intruder with an angry, carnivorous scowl that showed most of his teeth. "You don't know what your in for, fool." Astrum said, claws at the ready.

Madeline shot a glance at Tyson's disk modification. "I don't see how I could possibly have avoided that 'mistake', since I did win," she grumbled. "And sure, I said you could have some." She continued to stare at his disk. "Now...what did you do?" she asked, gesturing to the modification. She suspected it would be something like whatever he did to make Uru strong enough to blast half the stadium apart.

Derek looked at the remaining Sins thoughtfully. "Pair up however you wish. I'll pair up with you," he said, turning to Ran, ignoring the Avatar's alarmed protest.

"You think I'm here for you fool? Step aside before you lost something else of yours, child." he laughs at Kane with very much spite,

 

"Silence yourself. You're nothing but a beast with wings. Now silence yourself and take a seat while I find someone worth my time. Trust me, you don't want me to get angry wiith you, creature. Now where is that one going?" he points to the child walking in some random direction and walks over to him at a bit of a faster pace then he is going.

 

"Hey, kid. Stop. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind... dueling me?" he laughs.

Greed was puzzled. If he was right, then Derek had just told the Sins to work in partners, but he was the only one remaining, as Wrath had just smugly taken Madeline as his own. Regardless, there was no reason to be worried. Greed took his leave of the rest and headed in a random direction. Along the way, he saw what looked like a person in a cloak similar to his own, lumbering about in a different direction. He figured that he'd hunt down Envy. That boy was always good for some entertainment. Though finding him would be a bit of a problem.

Ugh. he though as he realized what had to be done. He looked through his deck and found Ccarayhua. He held just the card in his hand, and focused, thinking instead of that ostentatious whale, Chacu Challua. His God showed him a field, with three people and a dragon. Envy was engaging them!

That idiot! What is he doing stealing my prey!

Greed hightailed it out of the arena, stealing a nearby D-Wheel from the storehouse on the way out. The earthquake had left quite a few damaged, and only its owners would care. The same could probably be said about missing ones.

Fin glanced to both sides. More cloaked lunatics who wanted him dead could be around any corner, so it paid to be cautious. However, something caught his eye. A giant dragon was in the distance, and it wasn't killing anyone.

"Anbren!" The demon glanced over to where Fin pointed. Right.

The two took off, headed for the spot where the dragon lay.

Saviero sighed.

 

So... I guess it really doesn't matter that I'm here, huh? I mean, all I did was spew debris on them from my Duel Runner... You know what, screw this, I'm finding someone else to deal with.

 

Saviero, wait. Perhaps you should be more aggressive? I mean, there are four of them, and even if someone else is here, it wouldn't hurt to help them out, would it?

 

Perhaps, but if they don't respond this time, I'm mowing them down with my Runner.

 

Well, then, it's a win-win either way. Now go duel someone, it's boring being stuck in your mind all the time.

 

Saviero shook his head, walking up to the group of... Well, beings, anyways, and looked to Astrum, then the others. "Let's balance the numbers of participating duelists, shall we?"

Elliot turned around and saw Nick. "Dueling you?.... I'm sorry but I'm kinda confused about something right now.... I need to go home...." Elliot responded as he turned back around. "(Wait.... there should be an explaination to all of this.... maybe I'm just worrying too much.... Dueling could take my mind off of that weird event....)" Elliot slowly turned back around. "Alright.... Let's duel...." Elliot said as he placed his deck into his duel disk. "The name's Elliot by the way, you seem familiar, do I know you from somewhere?"

Dan continued to walk through the stadium with visible boredom shown on his face. "What the hell am I suppose to do now?..... I need to find someone to duel..... I didn't even get my chance to duel in the tournament. Well, perhaps I could find some use for those three, hehehe....." Dan said sadisticly as he noticed some people from the tournament.

(For all intensive purpose, the Sloth Sin is nearby Envy, as he's without a partner... that and Zaifire already scripted a part of this. Haha. Let there be sloth vs. FIRE dueling!)

 

Nick laughed, "Confused? Well! Perhaps we'll duel when you've clarified what's on your brain." he turned his focus to Kane once more, "You know what you pathetic failure of a duelist? Let us go at it! This time I won't fa-" he thinks to himself abruptly,

 

Wait a moment... Madeline really wanted to pick up the scraps on this kid... Perhaps I'll just duel him while sloth is nearby, to prove my power and worth.

 

"Hmm. Yes. I think I will duel you!" he pulls out his deck and slides it into his disk, motioning at Kane to do the same, "Ready when you are."

[BANZAI!!!!]

"You picked the wrong guy to challenge." said Kane as he put his deck into his blue and white duel disk. He activated the machine, and two hologram projectors launched out and turned on. "You can go first, but I'm warning you, this won't be easy." he said, his anger clearly staining his voice with spite. Kane drew his hand, "Ready, Astrum?" he asked his "brother", who always watched and critiqued Kane's dueling when he wasn't actively ripping heads off of holograms himself. Kane's life points appeared on the counter as he held up the duel disk.

 

"Careful, Kane." Astrum warned, remembering what had happened the last time Kane had charged headlong into a duel. This time, however, Astrum's sentiments were different. "Something about him.... stinks. I can't put my claw on it, but whatever it is makes me want him gone, painfully." the dragon thought. "Good luck Kane, and don't lose again." he said.

Tyson turned to Madeline. "The hologram projector I just installed increases my monsters' size, and as a result destructive force. I learned to make these while I was in the underground dueling rings. It gave me a certain, edge, in games. Get what I mean?" he said, ever so nonchalantly. "I can make it even bigger with power from a duel runner's engine, like i did with Uru. When you combine this stuff with a shadow game, things get messy." he smiled insanely at that one, relishing in the thought of violence.

Dan had just made three new Shadow Drones from the duelists who he spotted earlier. "Heh, that should provide me with some entertainment later on. What to do now? Maybe I'll go mingle with some of my dear friends...." Dan said sarcastically as he sensed a couple of familiar presences nearby. Dan walked over to the location close to Kane, Jane, Elliot, Nick, and Aifeldt. "Well, so Nick was here all along.... Hmm, that guy, Aifeldt, I've never really socialize with him. Maybe it's time to make a new ally." Dan walked over to Aifeldt. "So Aifeldt, what are you doing here?" Dan asked casually.

"Nice," Madeline whistled. She never was quite savvy with technology, so she was genuinely impressed by Tyson's combination of technology and shadow powers. With a swoop of her hands, she drew the hood of her robe back up, obscuring most of her hair. As they had been walking, the sound of voices had become audible, and she preferred a little 'mystery' when engaging people.

 

"This way," she said, adjusting her path slightly to head in the direction of the voices, the cement roads tapping lightly beneath her feet. "We may have found something to play with," she added, thinking that would keep his interest.

Oh, lord. Pride. "Uh, Dan. Lovely to see you again. I am currently hotwiring this Duel Runner so I can get out and steal some Element Six souls. That fool Envy has already gotten to them, and if I-"

Aifeldt remembered Derek's instructions briefly, and immediately developed a migraine.

"-er, WE, don't get there, then he'll have done the whole job and we won't have any fun. Imagine that, no real accomplishment! First Wrath steals a ton of souls at once, and now this. Enough to get you angry, no?" Greed ended with a slight grin.

Nick laughs, "You just made a miserable mistake!" The rest of his duel disk unfolds, a black and Blue colored disk reveals his slots for cards. He pulls out his hand as well as draws and smiles,

 

"Well then lets get this party started! I play A Legendary Ocean, Increasing the ATK and DEF of all WATER monsters by 200, as well as decreasing the Level on each WATER monster by 1, which allows me to summon Divine Dragon Aquabizzare!" The dragon appears from a spiral of water inside of the ocean now replacing the field.

 

"But just to ensure my Ocean doesn't dry up, I'll activate Field barrier and place a facedown. With that, I end my turn."

"(Hotwiring a Runner?.... I'm guessing he didn't bring his own.... Or was it destroyed.... Eh, who cares....) Hmm.... you're right, I wouldn't want the others to have all of the fun for themselves.... Very well Aifeldt, how about a proposition? You and me are now partners. Sure enough, that would make getting the souls easier wouldn't you agree?...." Dan then walked towards the left a little bit and stopped. "Well, I might as well have a Duel Runner ready just in case anything-" Dan then noticed Nick beginning a duel with Kane. "Huh? Well he doesn't waste anytime. How about you duel with that girl over there, Jane I believe her name is. She's one of the Six."

[Serenade]

OOC: Nooooooo!!! I was relevant to the plot for so long too! Draaaat!

 

Jane sat there, being hugged by the dragon. Oddly it made her feel even further ostracized from everyone else. Like, she was the only person that would find it mildly comforting to have a dragon hug you.

 

She stood up and turned around to see Kane engaging in a duel with Nick, "Oh my... Who is that man? Oh, what do I care. Neither of them are important to me." she spoke to herself quietly.

[BANZAI!!!!]

"Hmph. Easy enough to get around." Kane said, his overconfidence breaking through his anger. "I set 2 cards face down and summon The Creator Incarnate (1600/1500)." Kane smiled. He loved it when cards from his dad's old deck came up in games to help him. It was almost like his old man was still with him, in a way. "Now, I activate Incarnate's special ability. I can tribute him to special summon The Creator(2300/3000) from my hand, and I'm placing him in defense mode. Unless you have something to activate, I end my turn." Kane said, confident in the monolithic creature now standing in front of him.

Nick screams at the draw phase, "Stop! I activate Trap Dustshoot!" Nick takes a look at Kane's hand through the holograms, "Well... I think I'll be ridding you of that pesky Creator! Noone like a party pooper, after all, and my party is JUST getting started."

"Hmph. Very well." Really, Greed loathed taking orders from anyone not above him, and Pride was definitely NOT above him. But the opportunity was staring him dead in the face, and there wasn't much to do about it otherwise. His own nature compelled him to say "That's a good idea." He walked over, both hating himself and loving the opportunity, to where the dragon and the girl were locked in an embrace.

"It's almost touching, actually," Greed snarked, leaning against a nearby tree. He was sure that the girl would react to his presence unfavorably, which is why he had his disk pre-activated. No need for too much small-talk, even if it was part of the job.

[BANZAI!!!!]

The turn almost seemed to re-wind as creator incarnate came back out. "Damnit." Kane said almost under his breath as he shuffled his deck. "Go, it's your move now." he said, waiting and brooding. "Hmmmmmm. What do I do?" thought Kane as he looked at his cards, planning his next move.

Nick grins, What a dissapointment. How could Madeline not have won faster?

 

"Alright boy, I'll end your pathetic run for victory fast. I summon Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness, as well as put another 2 facedowns on my field." he scans the field, seeing that he has two facedowns did make him kind of nervous, but he was well prepared. Nothing he could do could harm him at this point.

 

"Orca, attack the Incarnate and Aquabizzare, attack him directly!"

Creator incarnate grew an armor of spikes, and Braced itself for an attack from the giant cyborg whale. "Care to attack with the other one too?" Kane asked.

As Madeline and Tyson moved nearer to the sources of the voices, she soon realized a duel was going on. Excitement growing, she increased her pace. With duelists, that meant opponents for her and Tyson. As she came nearer, she recognized the silhouette of Kane's pet dragon and stopped dead, her eyes taking in the scene. Kane himself was dueling under the dragon's watch, and as she crept nearer, she recognized the opponent.

 

It was Nick.

 

Nick?! What the hell is he doing, challenging MY target?! she internally seethed. Her gaze flicked around at the others around. Nick didn't seem to be the only Sin present, and there were at least two non-Sins in addition to Kane and the dragon. Her left hand fingered the deckbox at her hip and she moved nearer still, crossing her arms in a subtle pout, watching the duel.
