"Whoa! Whoa! Slow down a bit there, uhhh, whats-your-name. Yes, I can see Astrum, and he can see me. He's as real as you and I." he said. He looked at Elliot, who was now lying on the ground. Seeing Jane worked up and obviously upset over the odd malady, he forced a gentle, friendly voice, "Calm down. Lets get him to the infirmary and see what's wrong. Ok?" he said, trying to be as helpful as possible.

Astrum saw this too, but stayed where he was, seeing as he could be of little help. Instead, he flew away toward where Madeline had presumably left the scene, hoping he could either track her down or at least find something of use.

Nick reassured Derek, "Well, it's not the best news in the world." He stops, and turns around to face him, "I dueled a very foolish man before, and Madeline managed to swipe his ace card in the process, but when I won, I made the idiot mistake of turning my back to him. Dan gave rumor that he might be one of the six. In other words, we believe he may have survived the shadow duel. I'm sorry, Derek. I should have stayed to make sure it was over, but I didn't think they'd be here so soon. I got carried away." He shoots a beaming glare at Madeline, showing that he hates what he just had to say, but he did it for her.

"However, not all is lost. I have knowledge of another one. I'm currently getting her to trust me so I can learn more about them if she knows anything, and if not, I will suck her dry, and this time, I WILL succeed."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it was rude of me. My name is Jane, Jane Numire. The 'famed' 'Queen of Lightsworns" she made finger quotes after both phrases. She nods at Kane's idea, "Alright then. Hey... are you alright? What happened after that duel? Elliot told me you started glowing all kinds of colors, and had the Kanji symbol for WIND engraved upon your skin. What's up with that?" she pondered just how deep she might be buried into something she had no clue about. She could be in a lot of danger with this one, but she was prepared for the worst.

Kane looked down at the back of his hand. The green symbol was still there, although it had faded to a dark green, similar in fashion to blood drying on the skin. "Well, to be honest, I'm not really sure what happened myself. One second I felt like I was dieing, and then next there's a voice in my head telling me that this weird-ass mark saved my life." He glanced around, noticing that Astrum had left. "As for you, sorry, but I've never heard of you. Then again, that's probably because I'm not from around here. Jane Numire you said? I like it, it has a nice ring to it." He said, half cracking a smile.

Derek studied Nick for an uncomfortably long time, his green eyes giving the impression of staring past him and into his very mind. "Oh, he is so obviously lying," the Wicked Avatar sneered, heard only to Derek, who nodded silently, acting as if he was slowly coming to accept Nick's story.

"I see...then thank you for bringing it to my attention," Derek said finally. "It does not sound like it could truly have been avoided, short of bringing the conclusion to a physical plane, one easier to trace. In any case, your discovery benefits us in the end."

"The card...what's the ace card?"

"I must ask, you said she took his card. What card is that?" Derek inquired. In a flash, Madeline produced the Stardust Dragon card and Derek took it, examining it carefully. From within his deck, the Wicked Avatar cackled.

[spoiler=OOC] How exactly would I go about uncovering the knowledge that Jane is the LIGHT Element?

She was pondering the thought of the symbol, how in the world could that kind of phenomenon happen? This was all so peculiar for such a simple game of cards. Most of the people, including herself, were here for the prize, but now it seems like there's so much more to this tournament than she thought in the beginning... Oh my. She nodded her thought off and replied with, "Oh. Well, that's weird, and quite alright. I'm typically on the European circuit and I don't really like travel that much. Thank you, Kane, correct?"

Nick shrugged, he hoped that damned card of his didn't just unfoil everything, but he did it for Madeline. For the life of him, he couldn't understand why he didn't want her to take the heat. It genuinely was her fault, but he just didn't want her to get in trouble. She must like being Lust, having people like him do stuff like that for her. It made him so jealous. If only he could be Pride. He felt as if noone would doubt anything he said if he was Pride. Envy is such a scummy word. Lust sounded so nice, and Pride sounded like a prize. He still continued on to cover Madeline, "Yes. Honestly, I don't know what the girl represents, I would assume LIGHT, seeing as how she plays Lightsworns, but we have definitely found our WIND. How should we go about erradicating them?"

"For now, nothing," Derek responded. "If this...person, indeed managed to survive a shadow game, then eventually, he'll want this back," he said, waving the Stardust Dragon card. "Unfortunately, if they can survive one such game this time, there's no certainty that they can be beaten in such a fashion at all. Or possibly, it was a one-time thing. There's no certainty you even orchestrated the game correctly in the first place. So many uncertainties and nothing to latch onto yet on how to resolve them."

Madeline remained quiet, smirking internally. If Nick's deductions were true, that gave reason for him to continue his plans to get close to this girl.

"Keep watch on them. It'll take no effort at all to eliminate all potential adversaries. They're no match for us," the Avatar hissed smugly.

"Keep an eye on them, but avoid confrontation for now," Derek said.

Nick nods, "I guess for now I'll just keep on the defense. I don't really think it's possible that I messed the game up, per say, but I suppose there's a first time for everything." Nick listened paitiently to what Derek had to say and then spoke, "That's all fine and well, but the girl has already seen my eyes. For now, I'm going to be wearing contacts around you guys, later in time, when it doesn't really matter or not if she trusts me, I'll stop wearing them, but for now I have to ensure maximum protection on my disguise."

OOC: Good mark today guys! We hit like... 2 full pages! O: Tomorrow is my birthday, so I don't believe I will be super active but I'll try and put up a few posts as usual, and we should try and pick up the plot further in our next few days. Did this time frame that we were posting in work for everyone? Cuz if we could all find a central time to try and post around that'd be awesome.

[spoiler=OOC]Huh, I guess I'll have to reinforce the fact why Dan is pride....

Dan was stuck in the crowd of people. "DAMN IT!!!! ALL OF YOU LOWLIFE PEOPLE MOVE ASIDE!!!! HOW DARE YOU BLOCK THE PATH OF SOMEONE SUCH AS MYSELF!!!!" Dan yelled out with annoyance in his voice. A man then looked at Dan as if he was crazy. "Hey kid, don't you yell at people like that." "Humph..... what is a loser like you gonna do?" "Alright you punk!" The man tried to grab Dan but Dan easily sidestepped and in the large crowd, the man fell. "Humph..... someone like yourself should be off in a ditch somewhere rummaging through garbage, and I'll make sure you'll never dare to touch someone of my prestige."

Dan then took from his pocket a cell phone. "Security, I need you here at once." Just then a group of men wearing suits arrived an grabbed hold of the man. "W-what the?! How can you control the security here?!" "I have my resources here. Security, take him away from my sight, he's giving me quite the headache." Dan then walked through the crowd as everybody moved aside for him. Dan then saw Madeline along with Nick and Derek down the hall. "Well, well, look who it is. Derek, right? What are you doing here? People like you shouldn't be seen here." Dan stated to Derek with a high and mighty tone. Dan then turned his attention to Madeline. "Now, tell me, what has happen?" Dan asked with a demanding voice.

-Meanwhile-

Elliot awoke in an icy cave. "Ugh...... Huh?" Elliot looked around as he saw the setting. "Aw man..... not this dream again......" Elliot began to walk further into the cave. The walls of the cave were lined with Ice Barrier monster cards that were frozen solid into the wall. Elliot then arrived at a large frozen hall. There was a huge wall in front of him. The wall had three monsters engraved into it. They appear to be Brionac, Trishula, and Gungnir, all dragons of the Ice Barrier. All of them seemed to be held down by heavy chains. "{Sigh} I wonder what could this dream mean?"

Derek raised an eyebrow at Dan. "Excuse me?" he asked, his tone icier than usual. Such a brash young man, speaking to him as if he, and not Derek, was the strongest member of Ordo Everto. "That prideful fool...penalize him. Or should I?" the Avatar hissed. Derek could feel the Wicked God's suppressed rage boiling within him, threatening to take over and use his body to attack the lowly Sin.

Madeline gave Dan a genuinely perplexed look. He had witnessed her duel and had spread the rumor to Nick in the first place. Why he was questioning her in such a way, she wasn't sure, nor did she care for it. "I don't know what you're talking about," she replied.

Derek, on the other hand, was not one to take insubordination lying down. The Avatar wouldn't allow such disrespect of its avatar go unpunished. "It would be in your best interest to adjust your attitude, lowly Pride," he warned, his green eyes taking on a dangerous light.

"Hehehe.... HAHAHAHA!!!!! LOWLY PRIDE???!!! I'M GUESSING THE ORDER HAS NOT SHOWN YOU YOUR PLACE DOG!!!!" Dan yelled out. "You're just a lowly puppet controlled to be useful, later you'll be thrown away like the plain simple trash you are..... There's no denying it. We sins are the high ranking members, and unlike you fools who think of yourselves as higher than the sins, we have full control of our minds. Face it you're nothing but a empty puppet, a shell of your former self. And I'm guessing that Avatar controlling you must be to the point of attacking me huh? HAHAHA!!!!! Don't make me laugh! Oh, and don't worry Avatar, I'm not directly speaking towards you rather your puppet. I'm done talking to trash......" Dan stated as he turned to Madeline. "Well, I guess your not useful either..... A simple question as what has happen should be easy enough to answer. And if you're thinking of something of the past, I already know about that. I mean what has Nick told you? But I guess you don't need to answer...." Dan looked back at Derek with eerie eyes. "Humph....." Dan then walked off to get to a quiet place and regain his composture.

"Such a rash individual," Derek sighed, shaking his head. The Avatar hissed in simmering hate for the man who dared to condescend to its avatar, but otherwise remained quiet. Pride's time would come, and the Wicked Avatar hoped that, once the Sins had served their purpose, that it would get the chance to dispose of Pride personally, if not for that insult, then for being such an insufferable twit.

"Never mind him," Derek continued, straightening his suit importantly. He gazed at the Stardust Dragon card he still held, musing to himself. "Do you even use Tuners in your deck?"

"Uh..." Madeline faltered for a moment. Her current Frog build had centered on beatdown using Wetlands and Solidarity while deflecting the opponent's attacks, but her devotion to the theme had prompted her to disregard the Ice Boundary Tuner support. "No, I suppose I don't," she admitted, nevertheless extending her hand towards the Synchro monster. She couldn't quite explain what drew her to the card, but a part of her longed to possess it, not just as a symbol of her triumph, but because it was such a beautiful card.

"If that's the case, then vacation sucks. In case you didn't notice, I'm a part of Protheus, and I never chose to be here. I'd rather be inside the 'Gate between the Dimensions' than here. But honestly, what's the problem with a card game tournament?" Protheus said, against his will. Ran knew about this tournament, and he had to convince those two others to join in it with him. "Sure, Team Timewarp. It sounds a little cliche though....never you mind. I don't really have anything else to do anyway...."

Great work, spirit.

You stupid insignificant brat. Why did the Wicked Eraser God choose you?

Itsu grabbed Desna and Protheus, then started skipping away with them.

"Alright! This is in New Domino, so it should be easy, right?"

"...and that's how we got here." Itsu finally finished. She, Desna, and Protheus were sitting in a booth in a bar with a guy named Dan who was also in the tournament.

"But enough about us. Tell us a little about yourself." Itsu coily asked Dan.

To put it simply, Aifeldt was bored. He longed for the moment when he could find one of The Six, and destroy them. Then he could be rewarded, which was the only real thing worth fighting for. He heard shouting coming from an alley nearby, and sure enough, there was Pride, yelling at what appeared to be both Derek and Madeline. Aifeldt sighed, but came to a realization: What if Pride were eliminated? That would gain him favor (as he doubted Derek loved being yelled at), and kissing ass got rewards. Good ones, too.

"That fool Pride was here, wasn't he?" he asked when he knew he was within earshot.

"Yeah, Kane. Europe huh? Interesting..." Kane said, getting lost in thought. "Anyway, we should-grhhh, probably get him-urggg, outa' here!" He said, straining to lift Elliot over his shoulder, piggy-back style. "-And I can't force a girl to do all the heavy lifting, after all." He said, succeeding in his effort. After straightening himself, he began walking uneasily in the direction of the infirmary, encumbered by Elliot's weight.

Meanwhile, Astrum left a note for Kane in the room they shared telling him where he was. After slipping it in the window, the Dragon flew about the stadium campus, searching for signs of either the woman who had stolen his card, or other useful information...

Madeline glanced over when she heard someone speak, her attention turning towards the speaker. She raised an elegant eyebrow at first, the man's face not clicking with her for several moments. Derek, on the other hand, seemed to recognize him almost immediately.

"No doubt the shouting tipped you off," he answered Aifeldt. "He came and went, as he often does," Derek continued with a mild shrug. "Impatient, boastful, not the finest mix of qualities but what can you do?" he chuckled. The Wicked Avatar snickered internally.

Madeline continued to inspect the newcomer. Most likely he was a member of Ordo Everto, but she couldn't quite place his name or position. As much as she tried to know her colleagues, some were more evasive than others and some she simply didn't care much for.

"I could eliminate him if you like. I'm always interested in another rew-" Aifeldt stopped speaking as he noticed Madeline's obvious puzzlement. He realized that she probably had no idea who he was. He turned to her, and grinned.

"Pardon me, miss. You must be Madeline, bearer of Aslla Piscu and Ordo's 'Lust'. I completely forgot to introduce myself. I am Aifeldt Ershantz, bearer of Ccarayhua and 'Greed'. A pleasure to meet you. I have already heard a fair amount about you." He held out his hand to shake.

Madeline's eyes lit up and she managed an innocent, yet somewhat flirtatious, giggle. "Oh right, of course!" she said. She paused for a moment at the offered hand before smirking and awkwardly clenching the back of his hand with her favored left. "I'm left-handed," she explained, shaking his hand in a mildly unconventional manner and withdrawing it.

Derek chuckled at Aifeldt's offer. "That...would probably be ill-advised, tempting as it could be. Fighting amongst ourselves so early in the game would be...counter-productive at best."

"We only need six," the Avatar pointed out slyly. Derek fought to keep his expression calm and neutral.

Aifeldt grinned at the awkward handshake. "Too bad," he said to Derek as he parted hands with Madeline. "It could save us a lot of trouble. Now, I'm assuming the Six are gathering, no? What do you plan to do about that?" He really didn't care at this point about who he was put to fight. He just wanted to suck out the souls of one of the Six. Then he could get more rewards, which...would satisfy him...to an extent. There is always more wealth in the world, and it was almost always there for him to take.

"To be frank, we don't really know much about any of them," Derek answered slowly. "It has only just come to my attention that such beings exist, and at the time being, we have naught but speculations and rumor. To expose our presence rashly would be to jeopardize the entire plan. Eventually, there will be a time in the ongoing tournament that we as allies will have to do battle, but to go out of our way to engage one another only lessens our chances against genuine adversaries. You all understand, right?"

Madeline nodded, casting cautious glances down the hall. Although they were unlikely to be overheard, particularly with Derek's low voice, they weren't exactly concealed from sight of anyone passing by. The four of them looked somewhat out of place together in a group like a gang of conspirators.

"Now, I'm sure we all have targets of some sort of focus upon, do we not?" Derek inquired quietly. He turned towards Nick. "If the boy you dueled indeed survived, it would be too risky for you to approach him again at this time. Questions and suspicions could arise and we should do our best to cover our intentions until all our genuine adversaries have been accounted for. You may meet in pairs, but trios and more are not good ideas. Do any of you have anything to add?"

Dan walked to a quiet place in a bar and sat down contemplating. "Tsch, the nerve of that puppet....." Just then a silhouette of a large monster appeared behind Dan. "Dan..... it's not wise to fight against your comrades..... Afterall, they helped you gain power......" "Tsch, so what? I can't stand them. And that Derek, calling me lowly? Humph......" "Dan.... listen to me..... without them you won't be able to get the things you desire the most...... Afterall, did you forgot about someone?" Dan's expression then saddened. "........" "{Sigh} I can only warn you for so long Dan..... make your own decisions......." The silhouette then disappeared. Dan looked to see Itsu. "Humph..... Well that sure was an interesting story..... (Damn it.....) Well, my name's Dan, I have black hair. Enough info for you?" Dan stated.

Itsu then realized something. "Oh! We haven't introduced ourselves either! I'm Itsu Solace, interdimensional troubleshooter, at your service!"

The white-blonde stopped looking out of the window and turned to Dan. "The name's Desna. Desna Adats. D. E. S. N. A. A. D. A. T. S. Got it memorized?"

"I go around different timelines and preent their inevitable demise. Don't worry, because I observed this timeline, and it is remarkably stable, so Desna and I decided to vacation here! Were you invited to that tournament too?"

Dan's eyes flared up and looked at Itsu as if she was crazy. "(Interdimentional-What?! Jeez.... I'm stuck with weirdos.... Huh, but considering spirit energy and all of that, what she's saying is probably true....) Oh, that's really, umm..... yeah....." Dan had no idea how to answer to something like that. He then looked at Desna. "Yeah, I've got it memorized, besides, your name is only five letters long...." Dan then turned back to face the counter. "So what do you even do on this vaction of yours?" Dan asked halfheartedly.
