Jane acknowledged him, "Ah... Well okay then! Shall we?" she steps out of the way and sees Zack be immediately bothered by something, "What's wrong?" She asks, seeing his eyes pan from place to place then immediately walking over to a booth telling her to get in line or something "O-okay!" she goes along without an argument, and stands in line, she turns around in line to look at Zack and see what's bothering him. She saw him whispering in some mans ear then start practically running to a table. She walks out of the line to go possibly contain Zack, she starts walking to him, and just as she's about to approach Zack and the other man, something... crazy happens. She feels something snap inside of her chest, and is almost for a second incapacitated. She looks down at her hands and notices a thin, yellowish aura around her palms. She turns her hand over and sees the kanji symbol for LIGHT, the type of cards she had always used.

Nick stops in his moments, with anger in every breath, "You don't understand Dan... This... cannot be accepted!" he starts to move again when he sees Jane, and instantly halt near him. He stands in front of her, doing his best to remove the anger from his face and fists. He looks at her and watches her almost fall, he goes to catch her when he notices her hands... they were glowing, and when she turned over her palms... Nick felt like a millionaire. She was the LIGHT element of the 6. He knew now more than ever that blowing his cover over that whiny brat of a sin was no longer worth it, but he had to put on his innocent face, just for Jane, "Jane, Jane what's wrong?!"

[spoiler=OOC] I don't think I've ever typed something of that length that fast in my entire life. Haha. Intense!

She immediately looks up at Zack, who seems to have been drawn to this, but noone else, strangely, perhaps noone else could see it from that range, and she starts turning away, saying "I-i have to go! I'll see you later Zack!" She starts running full speed in the opposite direction, running to the infirmary, trying to find Kane, and maybe some answers. She now had the growing feeling that she was in way over her head, and there was no way out now. But she had people she knew she could trust. Kane, Elliot, and Zack were the only people to date that had seemed to care about her. She would have to stick close to them to survive. This was her only chance at surviving whatever she had gotten herself into and she wasn't about to spoil it now. Her life had finally started to get somewhere. This tournament's no longer about a stupid cash prize... is it...

Dan noticed a bright light coming from Jane's palms. "(What the hell?! Hehe..... so I was right.... that's two points for me.....)" Dan noticed as gave an eerie smirk. Dan then noticed Nick catching Jane as she fell. Dan couldn't help but putting on a bigger grin, although he had to cover his grin with his mouth. "(Hehehehe...... So the game is almost beginning huh? How wonderful..... I can finally be entertained once again.....)" Dan walked back to the booth and sat down as he watched the events unfold. As the scene continued, Dan noticed Jane running out. "(Oh my, how unexpected.... Eh, maybe not....)"

Madeline observed the interactions between Nick, his girl target, and Dan with an unceasing expression of amusement. It had started with the Envious Sin starting to throw some sort of tantrum and head in her direction, only to be halted by Dan. Shortly thereafter, Nick had returned to the girl's side, only for her to run out on him. She snickered to herself, shaking her head and glancing at Aifeldt, wondering silently if he had seen the same events that she had. She couldn't help but wonder what had just occurred, but at the moment, she was content with sitting in the background, watching things play out.

Nick whirls around when Jane starts to run away, "Dan... We need to get out of here. Now. I need to find Derek and tell him that I just found the LIGHT element. Jane is it for sure. Did you see that aura around her hands, and the symbol? I hit the jackpot buddy. I'll take care of that swamp beast later. For now I've got a job to do... Help me find Derek. I have no idea where that man lurks, maybe you can help me find him." he motions for Dan to follow him as they walk out. On the way, Nick makes sure to stop and write out a note and wrap it around a coin. He then proceeds to throw the coin at Greed. He continues at the door. The note reads I've found the LIGHT element. Tell Madeline. With the underlining very dirty and heavy.

Dan's smirk stopped as he placed his hand back to his side. "Doesn't Derek have a cell phone or anything. For someone who dresses in a suit, he should have a cell phone, like me. I have a suit and I have a cell phone, makes me feel more, professional, hehe....." Dan stated as he followed Nick out the door. "(There was one, now there's two.... Only four more to locate before the game begins....) Shouldn't he be at the stadium? Well, I don't really know since I left earlier." Dan stated.

Elliot stood up from the ground and walked over to the huge wall with the three dragons. "I wonder what could this mean?" Elliot asked himself as he reached his hand out to touch the wall. Upon contact, the wall flared up with each dragon's eyes glowing a bright blue. A sorrowful cry could be heard. Elliot looked around but couldn't find where the noise was coming from. Suddenly Elliot woke up and found himself in the infirmary. "{Breathing heavily} Wh-where am I? This is the infirmary. Jane and that other guy probably helped me here." Elliot fell back and gave a heavy sigh. "I wonder what was that sound?"

Nick nods, "Yeah... That sounds about right. He monitors it or something, doesn't he?" he continues to walk a little faster, looking around for Derek. Maybe he would get lucky and walk into him. For a man his size, you figure finding him wouldn't be all the hard, but he was wrong. As usual. Then again, Nick seems to have a talent for litterally running into people lately so... Nothings too far out there for him right now. Damnit Derek, when I need you most, you're gone! Why can everybody else always find you so easily but me! Damnit! Everyone's so much luckier than I am! He was fuming and searching at the same time.

Dan followed swiftly yet casually behind Nick with both hands in his pockets and looking around casually as if nothing had happen. "(Well, this is getting to be rather boring..... Finding someone part of the Order shouldn't be so time consuming.... It's rather annoying to know that communication amongst the Order is not very well managed.... Speaking of which, I probably should get them all cell phones considering the fact that reaching the others to give important information is such a chore.....) Well, maybe I should call the security service to find Derek and bring him here....."

Derek stood just inside the stadium doors, watching as the last of the preliminary duels concluded. He checked his watch. Good, everything is on schedule. I did worry that we'd be overrun, with such open registration. He chuckled softly, feeling the Wicked Avatar's subtle glee. Everything is going as planned. The strongest applicants have been accepted into the main rounds of the tournaments. And the ripest souls will be food for the Sins, Derek mused. There had been several tournament slots open, reserved for the desired members of Ordo Everto.

 

Naturally, even as a tournament overseer, Derek had kept one of the slots for himself. The Avatar wouldn't want to miss the fun and spoils of a good duel. Others slots had been kept for the other Heralds, if they too wished to be a part, but so far, none of the other two had gotten back to him on the offer.

Dan made his way to the stadium, where he saw Derek near the stadium doors. "Well Nick, there's Derek over there....." Dan stated calmly as he pointed towards Derek. Dan then casually walked over to Derek with his eyes closed and his hands in his pockets. "Well Derek, that took us quite little time to find you. Don't you have a cell phone? I'm sure someone wearing a suit would have one....." Dan then opened his eyes. "Anyways, it seems another one of the Six has appeared. Her name is Jane Numire, and she represents the element LIGHT..... Only four more left before we can get the show under way...." Dan stated calmly.

Nick nodded, "Yeah... Seems I was right about the girl. My disguise is full set in too. I gotta say though Derek, I don't like that new Greed character. If something unfortunate was to happen, well, no eyes on me." he snickered. He knew full well that something bad was going to happen to Greed, and it would be by his hand. Of this, he was sure. Sometimes Nick wondered just how jealous he could get of an innocent luncheon... Very. He was still so ragefilled by not being able to get her to appreciate him at all, and that Greed just waltzed in on him... He was going to die, and Chacu would make sure of it!

Dan looked at Nick as he snickered. "(Hmm.... it looks like Nick really wants to kill that Greed guy..... Humph, I really can't say he deserves it or not, I don't even know the guy.... Oh well, no matter, if something ever happens, I'll just sit back and watch the fireworks..... Although I have to say, Nick can sometimes get jealous to an extreme level.... Guess that's why he is the embodiment of Envy....)" Dan thought to himself.

Elliot continued to lie in the bed contemplating. "(That dream was so strange.....)" Just then a nurse walked by and noticed Elliot was awake. "Oh you're awake. Are you alright?" "Huh? Yeah, I'm alright. Umm, how long was I out?" "Not that long. Thank goodness you have friends who took you here, or else you probably would have woken up in the hallways." "I see....." "Well, anyways, I should let you rest. If you need anything, feel free to ask." "Alright thank you."

[Serenade]

Jane came running into the infirmary, expecting to find Kane, but he was nowhere to be seen. Instead she saw Elliot, and kind of freaked out, "Elliot! Where's Kane! I don't know what's happening to me..." She looks down to see the Light symbol is still very radiant, "Look!!! The same thing that happened to Kane happened to me! I was just... in the cafeteria and... blam!" she was totalllyyy freaking out. She had no idea what any of this meant, and Jane tended to fret when she couldn't comprehend things.

Elliot was finally regaining his calmness until Jane ran into the infirmary and yelling out in surprise. "AH!" Elliot fell out of bed and onto the floor. His eyes were in a comical spinning motion. "Ow....." Elliot regained his composture and got back onto the bed. After Jane finished explaining things in a fast pace, Elliot looked at her hands to see the mark. "Huh? What the? You have a LIGHT mark on your hands while Kane has a WIND mark on his? That's really weird....." Elliot then looked up and gave a nervous smile. "Hehe, Jane you need to calm down. Look, I'm sure everything's gonna be fine, take it from me." Elliot stated as he gave Jane a thumbs up. "(I hope everything's gonna be fine that is.....)"

[Serenade]

Jane was calmed down by Elliot's optimism and collective way of speaking, "Yeah... I guess you're right. Maybe we were meant to do something special... Who knows, right? Hmm. It's getting awfully late and this has been one MESSED. UP. DAY." Maybe I'll just head back to the dorms. Nighty Elliot." She gave him a friendly kiss on the forehead, winked, and walked away with a smile on her face. She wasn't really so worried about this thing anymore, maybe it was a blessing, not some weirdo curse.

Derek turned when he heard the statement addressed to him. In silence, he looked them over, identifying them as the Sins of Pride and Envy. He showed no signs of remembering the outburst from Dan, yet the Avatar allowed one sliver of distaste to tarnish Derek's mood.

 

"So, you were correct about the girl? I see," he mused, rubbing his chin. "And yes, of course I have a phone," he said, withdrawing a black, nondescript cell from a pocket inside the suit and displaying it. He studied the envious youth, shaking his head slightly.

 

"Turning against one another for any reason is foolhardy, I believe I've already mentioned this in your presence. Surely you can settle your differences in another way." But of course, he knew his words were more or less falling upon deaf ears. Impulsiveness was a very common trait among the Sins, it was a natural tendency. Madeline's impulses were less violent than others, but Wrath and Pride both acted on impulse, and he hardly expected Envy or Greed to abstain from action when a desire to act dawned on them.

"Hehe, glad to know you think the same. ({Sigh} Boy, I've dodged a bullet there.....)" Elliot thought to himself. "Alright good night, see you and Kane tommorow I suppose." Elliot gave another friendly smile. Just then Jane gave Elliot a kissed on the forehead, winked, and then walked off. Elliot began to blush and he was speechless. After a few seconds, Elliot simply smiled. Elliot then stood up and looked outside the window to the stadium arena. "Too bad I can't be in the tournament, but I'll be in the stands cheering Jane and Kane on." Elliot stated.

"Well good to know. That should make delivering new much easier." Dan stated calmly. "(So I guess I was right about Nick and his plans...) Well, I see.... I don't really know about this Greed person, so I'll just let you two work it out. As for the matter of the Six. I wonder if any more will show up at the tournament?"

[spoiler=OOC] Setting up a time skip here so the plot can actually go somewhere, just roll with it.

Nick was taken off guard a tad by that, "You mean you're still going to defend this worthless scum?! God! He gets everything! The girl, the power, the money, your protection! Why don't I GET ANYTHING! Even when I'm surrounded by the embodiments of the worst tendencies a man could possess I'm still the lowliest person here! Things never change! AH!" he raged off, shoving a few people in the hallway to the ground as he moved alone to get away from the tyranny he felt he was surrounded by.

The waitress had come, the empty plates lay before them, and of course Greed handled the check. Just because greed and selfishness went hand in hand didn't mean that they were one and the same. As Greed got up and stretched his legs, he turned and asked Madeline, "Ready for tomorrow?" He knew she was, she knew she was, but the reason he asked was simple: If there were any doubts about the entire thing, they would come out now.

Derek sighed again, massaging his forehead with one hand. Sometimes he wondered whether it was worth babysitting the Sins. If they went and destroyed one another out of jealousy, spite, pride, anger or whatnot, it would only prove how callous it had been to arrange for such people to have cards as powerful as the Earthbound Immortals, and to prepare the tournament in anticipation of them fighting people outside of Ordo Everto seemed like a waste of effort. Then again, the Avatar seemed unbothered, and even amused by the prospect of inner rioting. The Sins themselves had powerful spirits, and with subtlety lost, the Wicked Gods could harvest the souls of all the tournament participants, just by transforming the entire tournament into one large Shadow Game. Even those without shadow powers would end up draining the souls of the loser, weak or strong.

 

Sometimes, quantity was superior to quality, after all.

Madeline chuckled. "Of course," she said, casually placing her arms behind her head. She licked her lips, both out of habit, and in expression of enjoying the meal she had just had.

Dan watched quietly as Nick stormed off in anger. "Humph.... Anyways, I'll be going now.... The tournament will continue tommorow and hopefully the other Six will show up. If not, then I guess some members of the Order will have to hunt them down..... Well that is if some members don't try to kill each other first." Dan stated calmly towards Derek. Dan then walked off towards the city. As he reached the huge parking lot of the stadium, Dan pulled out his cell phone and pressed a couple of buttons. Awhile later, a large black helicopter arrived to take Dan away. "Were we late sir?" "No, you're fine.... Today has been quite an entertaining day....." Dan stated as he sat down and gave an eerie grin while the helicopter flew off.

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

The other duelist screamed in pain and begged for mercy, but Ran did not care and just laughed. Ran's eyes were now insane red. On the field was a huge machine-like dragon. It had two horns on it's head. It's hands were like the feet of a giant eagle. And it's legs....it was only a ghostlike tail. The Wicked God stared at the opponent in hunger, as Ran laughed maniacally.

"My turn, draw! I activate the effect of The Wicked Eraser! During my Main Phase, I can destroy it!" He shouted in an insane voice.

"W-what is that supposed to mean?! Y-you're just d-destroying your own trump card!" The opponent duelist said, completely scared. He couldn't even back away.

"Don't you get it? When the Wicked God is destroyed, it takes every single card on the field with it. It erases them. And guess what happens when your Eraser Tokens are destroyed."

"M-Mercy! Please!" The opponent was now crying in fear.

"Too late." The Wicked God disappeared like a ghost. Then a black hole suddenly appeared, and every single card on the field was taken with it, destroying everything that entered. The Eraser Tokens followed, and with their destruction, the opponent lost 500 life points per monster. And since there were four.....He lost 2000 life points, thus ending the duel. The black hole still raged, and the opponent was lifted from the ground, before being sucked into the hole without a chance.

"Another one is sacrificed to the Wicked Gods! HAAHHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!"

 

He then turned and began walking back, ignoring the whole destruction of the entire area. They had been dueling in a playground, and now it was just an enormous crater. "The Wicked Gods should be pleased. But then,, I haven't met the other Heralds yet. I think they were called Derek and Akio. What boring names. Either way, the Element Six have absolutely no idea what's going to happen to them. I'll erase every one of them from existence, literally."

Great, talking to yourself again. Just so you know, floating inside the mind next to the God of Uncreation is not as comfortable as one would think. Oh and congratulations on your third sacrifice in the hour. And stuff.

OOC: Zai's been a tad inactive due to matters out of his control, and normally I would take over the plot devices, but Zaifire wanted to personally deliver the peice of plot, and so, he will update the plot soonish... I hope. I'm actually gonna send him a text right now asking him to post, but otherwise, it'll be soon.

 

And, because I have too or I'll get bootybumped by the mods,

 

IC: Nick sat in his room, teeming with anger. He was at the point of jealousy where he would scream if noone was there to listen. Even in finding the LIGHT element and covering Madeline's ass to the Herald, he is still outmatched by Alfeidt! It drove him mad how such neanderthols such as Greed himself could woo such a woman like Madeline. She was the epitome of sin, toying with a man's heart is like bringing fire to a bomb fight... But it was so right in his brain. Like, no matter how much destruction Madeline caused he would still find her as the woman he loves. He rolled over and attempted to sleep, and just let the thoughts in his mind go away.

OOC: Agh, speaking of which, I completely forgot about this RP.

 

IC: "Excellent. Will you be all right getting home alone, or shall I walk you?" Greed wanted to look into a few matters before the next day. Time was indeed of the essence, but courtesy was ever prevalent with him. There was something off, he could tell. Something else was after the Six, and Greed had a pretty good idea as to what. A few monsters he had seen as of late were bearing an odd symbol, and looked to be constructs; mechanical forms of actual monsters.
