I really need some help with this... [Gravekeeper's]

Okay, I just built this deck on YN, and while it works okay, it's not consistent enough for me. I don't want to build something completely different, and I despise Synchro monsters. Just letting you know.

Gravekeeper's Curse (It's fun to annoy them by bringing him back over and over)

Gravekeeper's Assailant

Gravekeeper's Spy x2

Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier x2

Gravekeeper's Guard x2

Gravekeeper's Descendant

Gravekeeper's Commandment x2

Mystic Tomato x3

 

Levels 5-6

Gravekeeper's Chief x2

Caius the Shadow Monarch

 

Levels 7-8

Gravekeeper's Visionary

 

Spells x11

Necrovalley x3

Gravekeeper's Stele [i can't decided if I should add another]

Gravekeeper's Servant [i tend to have to stall every now and again.]

Allure of Darkness [since I almost always have a Dark monster]

Magical Dimension x2 [i'm thinking about taking one out for something else, but it has come in handy, as just about all Gravekeepers are Spellcasters.

Burden of the Mighty [i love this card. Not the best, but it has helped a lot.]

Trade In [is being Traded Out. I haven't used it at all. What should I add in it's place?]

Heavy Storm [staple]

 

Traps x10

Magician's Circle x2 [same deal as with Magical Dimension]

Bottomless Trap Hole x2 [i thought this was Limited..]

Rite of Spirit x3 [Major Help. Bring back a Guard when Necro is on the field and a get a nice shield for a little while.]

Judgment of Anubis x2 [i want to remove one. What should I add in it's place?]

 

A note about this deck. I built around 12:40 something at night, so I was tired as I built it. I'm not too good at the game, that's why I'm posting here in the first place. Also, please don't post saying something like "run something entirely different." What I want to use is Gravekeeper's. Aside from that, I welcome criticism.

+2 Bottomless Trap Hole/Starlight Road

 

Judgment of Anubis is far too situational to run, as there are only a few decktypes that run more than Heavy and MST to destroy Spells and Traps. I personally want to put Bottomless in, but if you want to keep the protection thing going, there's no better card than Starlight.

Unless I get another suggestion about Counter Counter, I don't think I'll use it. It's a little too situational. Now, I have another problem. I want to make this faster, but I am not truly sure what to add. I have Allure of Darkness, but I never tend to draw it. Is their something else you can recommended to help speed this up?

Solemn Judgment run ins.

And the occassional Dark Bribe.

But, you mainly only have 1 Trap to worry about, so it's not even sideable.

And the occassional Dark Bribe.

But, you mainly only have 1 Trap to worry about, so it's not even sideable.

 

Divine Warning could be around a lot next format.

 

Either way I'd go with Seph's build, although I might drop the Cat for a High Priest, or look at Rescue Cat + Airbellum because Arcanite is so amazingly awesome.

I avoid Synchro's like the plague, but thank you. I will test that build out, and if it works well, I probably stick with it. I see that Rite of Spirit wouldn't work as well in it, that sort of sad to me, but oh well. Solemn Judgement, I completely forgot about it. Although, Seph, if you don't mind me asking, what is Plaguespreader doing in there? Is it for the resurrection ability only?

It's for synchros, because synchros are a part of the game now, just like spell or trap cards, and not using them out of some random objection is pointless =/

How on earth do they take the fun out of it? They give many otherwise mediocre Decks a viable win condition. That makes more Decks playable and gives more variety in the sort of engines running around. I don't get people who avoid synchros, they're great for the game IMO =/

Synchros are most of the point now - they have tons of support, and to not really use them is pointless.

I know that. Konami has been obsessed with them for too long. I don't like them, so I don't use them. It's that simple. I don't use what I don't like. I gave them a try, and I didn't like them. So I stopped.

I like grave keeper a lot. This is a deck that i posted some time ago. But no one comment about it. See if it give u any ideas on strengthening your current deck.
