Yang Xiao-Long
With this post I will now be a 4-star member, so I decided to celebrate with this card. I felt that Sea Serpents needed some more support, so I made this. Enjoy! Image by HP Doom Lore:As long as this card remains face-up on the field, Sea Serpent-Type monsters in your Graveyard are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Summon 1 Sea Serpent-Type monster from your Deck, Extra Deck, or Graveyard. The monster Summoned by this effect cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated. Comments/rates are greatly appreciated. NeXodus
C-c-c-c-congratulations. Though the card is meh. Brings nothing new to the table but I guess it's still good. Picture is nice. But that's not what goes in circulation. If it is, tell me wrong. There's a sea serpent type? Man... I should've known. 7/
~Duo~
Good cost for Summon. There aren't many Sea Serpent monsters I see made, so +.5 for your rate. What's kind of the point of protected Sea Serpents in your graveyard? 9.5/

Gaia Overload
I would say it's ATK and DEF stats are a bit UP'ed for a Level 10. Make it "Pay 300 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Sea Serpent-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard." 7.2/
Yang Xiao-Long
With UPed stats come a powerful effect.Protecting monsters in your Graveyard is great against certain card effects that will remove those monsters from play or take control over them. From the few Sea Serpent monsters I've seen, they could use that protection.
Inferno I20
congratulations on being 4 stars now on to 5!!!its a pretty standard card. if there were other cards that supported it then things might be different but whatever. sea serpents suck anyway :P jk. seriously they need to make more sea serpent support. i think they kind of forgot they even existed

Darj
It would be awesome if it could Special Summon from the Extra Deck as well. I think 3 Tributes is too much; I would lower it to 2 Tributes or simply remove the Summoning restriction. Nowadays, Special Summoning monsters is something common and no longer a threat, so you don't have to balance this monster's effect with such restriction. This card's ability of summoning from the Deck will only encourage the use of Sea Serpents.
Yang Xiao-Long
Thanks for the fix, Frex. Editted to your suggestions (like getting rid of the Summoning restriction). Please comment/rate!

MarbleZone
Fun fact - this card only needs 2 Tributes unless you specifically say otherwise. Level 7-12 monsters only require 2 Tributes. That said, this would be the first card at 3200 ATK that can be Tribute Summoned with 2 Tribs, and while that's not gamebreaking at all, you may wanna give that a look for tradition sake. The effect is nothing to write home about in terms of originality, but it is fairly balanced. Without further Sea Serpent-Graveyard interaction support though, it doesn't do a whole lot. The Special Summoning from Deck effect could be a bit more costly, but that's up to you. ;) And because everyone obsesses with numbered ratings so much, 7/10 assuming you fix the Level issue.
