Eibon1307
Ok. So, new fusions are coming out in Duelist Revolution and Starstrike blast. Some of the fusions will use Synchro monsters for fusion material. I for one am alittle excited because I like fusion monsters and Ritual monsters. I am very excited. So. do you think these new fusions will balance out the Synchro to fusion ratio? or do you not like the idea? Discuss.

bentleyeugene92
They are hard to get out but have nice effects to match (unlike those crazy Majestic Dragons who are worthless) 2 of them have added protection. But I don't think they are as splashable but will have dedicated decks that run it that might come out on top.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
Absolute Zero is the only fusion monster i would use apart from Thousand Eyes Restrict if it wasnt banned.

TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
I might run Dragon Knight Draco-Equeste just for the  but even then, it pales in comparison to the might of Absolute Zero.
TechnoDoomedOne
In plants, Dragoequiste might be good, but I think it is so much situational. Also, its effects are pretty much worthless. Other than that, Fusion monsters aren't bad, but just a few: Contact Fusions, Fusions with a lot of support like E-Heros (and just some of them), F.G.D. and the like that can be played in Hopeless Dragon. Even with that, Synchros >>> Fusions, speaking in general terms.
Mysty
I wish Fusion monsters didn't have specific fusion-material unless the monsters were REALLY needed. I mean, should Flame Swordsman, for example, REALLY need a specific Warrior-type monster and a specific FIRE monster? Should Black Skull Dragon really require a specific Dragon-type and a specific "Archfiend" monster? Should Dark Flare Knight really need another Fusion monster (let alone it being specific) to Fusion Summon it? Granted, Future Fusion would be quite powerful if all the Fusion cards were errata'd and Elemental Hero Prisma would be slightly less useful, but it would still help with summoning those monsters whose material are still defined (such as the Contact Fusion "Neos" ones).I personally think that the Fusions should have had more generic Fusion Material unless the Specific monsters were REALLY needed. I imagine three Blue-Eyes really would be needed for Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and three Cyber Dragons for Cyber End Dragon. I don't see Flame Swordsman and Dark Magician really specifically needed for a Dark Flare Knight, or Dark Magician and Buster Blader really specifically needed for a Dark Paladin.I like that Konami is making more generic fusion-material on Fusion cards now, but it took them a while for them to start that. The big weakness to Fusions and Rituals when compared to Synchros is that Rituals and Fusions usually need additional cards to summon them. If there were another copy of Fusion Gate that didn't remove the cards from play that would be at least somewhat helpful even though it seems nobody likes to fuse "Polymerization-style" anymore. ihop
As it is, Chimeratechs, Gyzarus and Herak are the only good fusion I can think of.
Zauls
As it is' date=' Chimeratechs, Gyzarus and Herak are the only good fusion I can think of.[/quote'] Ab0. F.G.D (For Hopeless Dragons). They are also good. I don't think much will come of the new Synchro Fusion things, they seem to situational.
RyanAtlus
Jaden: Yo there, Duelists! It's time to put that ol' sweet game back on with these sparkly new Fusion Su- *gets run over by JACK*JACK: EXCEPT FOR MULTIPLE PIECE GOLEM, ALL FUSIONS FAIL!!! ON MOTORCYCLES!!! OT: I liked Misty's idea of Generic Fusions, for it would make Super Poly really Super.
