The Effect of this card becomes the Effect of the selected monster. -The Ego cards have some great effects, but have a relatively lower attack, so with this card you get to use their effects over again, and they have a higher attack 2Inflated Ego******Atk: 1700Def: 200Light/Fairy/Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can be Special Summoned by offering 1 Face-Up "Autonomous Ego" you control. If Special Summoned by this effect, select 1 "Ego" monster in your Graveyard, The effect of that card is added to this cards effect. Increase the Atk of this card by the original Atk of the selected monster. -"This card can only be Special Summoned by..." This means that you can Special Summon this inflated bugger after it's been destroyed, although you won't get its effect, you can still offer it for "Overinflated Ego". Same with "Autonomous Ego" You get to re-use the effects of your weaker Ego monsters, and they get a BIG BOOST to their Atk strength. 3Overinflated Ego********Atk: 1800Def: 300Light/Fairy/Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by offering 1 Face-Up "Inflated Ego" you control. If Special Summoned by this effect, Select 1 "Ego" monster in your Graveyard, The effect of that card is added to the effect of this card, Increase the Atk of this card by the original Atk of the selected monster x2. This card is unaffected by Spell cards. - Like Inflated Ego it "can only be Special Summoned by" so you can Special Summon it later by other effects; it won't get it's awesome effect, but you can still use it for "Ego Maniac" and "Explosive Ego". Like the 2 Egos before it, Overinflated Ego can take on the abilities of another fallen Ego monster, but this time it gets a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, HUGE ATK BOOST! If you use the Strongest Ego monster out there, (Extra Ego - The Darkness) this monsters Atk will become 5400! 4Voltage Ego (thunder ego)****Atk: 1400Def: 100Dark/Thunder/Effect: When this card destroys a monster by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the level of the destroyed monster x 300. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Ego Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/1 Star/ATK 200/DEF 100) in Defense Position. -Ahhh, the first of the Ego monsters. If you notice, all of the Elemental Egos are DARK, followed by a Type that suits their name (Voltage-Thunder) and their effect. Also, with all Ego monsters, this card has the effect of Summoning ANOTHER monster when it is destroyed, so you don't really lose anything when it's destroyed, plus the tokens can be offered for Tribute summon or for effects. This effect helps make up for their relatively low Atk strength (with the exception of the Darkness Ego). All Ego monsters have 100 Def. (With the exception of Granite Ego) -Now for the actual card: his effect is fairly good, most of the time he can be expected to take down level 3 or lower monsters so there's an automatic 900 points of damage already, BUT combining this card with Shrink and or Rush Recklessly, he can be expected to take down most level 7 monsters doing 2100 points of damage! That is a quick way to deplete your opponents Lifepoints. 5Granite Ego (stone ego)****Atk: 100Def: 1800Dark/Rock/Effect: This card is changed to Defense position when it is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned. Your opponent cannot attack another "Ego" monster you control as long as you control this Face-up card. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Ego Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/1 Star/ATK 200/DEF 100) in Defense Position. - To a unique Ego already? Yes, I suppose we are. As I've stated in the blue text, all other Ego monsters have 100 Defense... but that really wouldn't make sense for a Granite Ego, so I beefed it up a bit. When he is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned he automatically gets switched to Def position (Whew) so you don't have to worry about having him on the field in Atk position, or hope your opponent attacks him. Next, he, like many others before him (Marauding Capitan, Magician's Valkyria, Solar Flare Dragon, Ext.) can prevent others of his kind from being attacked, so with two of him on the field, you can't attack any egos on the field INCLUDING HIM! so you now have an invincible fortress of Granite. He has a pretty high Def so you shouldn't have trouble fending off an attack or two before you summon a second one. 6Glacial Ego (freezing ego)****Atk: 1200Def: 100Dark/Aqua/Effect: When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls. The selected monster cannot attack for 4 of your opponent's Battle Phases, also decrease its Atk by 1200. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Ego Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/1 Star/ATK 200/DEF 100) in Defense Position. - As some of you may have noticed, I changed the effect of this card a bit, but it seemed a little too weak without the second effect, but now, it is one of the most useful ego monsters I've created. When it's destroyed you can select ANY monster your opponent controls and stop it for attacking for 4 turns!!! but not only that, it's Atk is reduced by 1200!!! So if a Cyber dragon happens to step on this mini Glacier, he won't be able to attack, and he'll become a 900Atk monster. With the lowered attack it is now possible to be killed by the almighty Voltage Ego doing 1500 points of damage!!! WOOT FOR COMBINATION ATTACKS!!! 7Windstorm Ego (airstream ego)****Atk: 1500Def: 100Dark/Winged Beast/Effect: Once per turn, during your main phase, you can discard 1 card from your hand to return 1 card your opponent controls to the top of it's owners Deck, if you activate this effect, this card cannot attack this turn. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Ego Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/1 Star/ATK 200/DEF 100) in Defense Position. -The strongest of the Elemental Egos (Darkness doesn't count as an Elemental Ego). Some people have heard of Neo-Spacian Grand mole, others have heard of Raiza, the Storm Monarch, both pale in comparison to this mighty Ego!!!! (kinda). Although this has the strongest Atk of all the elemental Egos you won't be attacking with him much, his effect should probably be used every turn. This card is perfect to use against a themed deck or combo deck, whereas cards need to be on the field for a long time, OR a card is on the field that has used up much resources. Imagine this scenario: Your opponent just fused up "Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer" by way of Polymerization, the previous turn, you destroyed his Sparkman with your "Extra Ego - The Darkness". So he activates Miracle Fusion, removing the Phoenix enforcer, and the Sparkman from the Grave to summon the Great Shining Phoenix Enforcer, and with tons of extra Heros in your grave, his attack is up to 4000, he destroys your Darkness Ego. He has no cards F/D and only 1 card in his hand, what do you do? SUMMON WINDSTORM EGO, ISN'T IT OBVIOUS?!?!?!?!?!? Discard a single card from your hand to make all his hard work go back to the Fusion Deck!!!!! 8Blazing Ego (infernal ego)****Atk: 1100Def: 100Dark/Pyro/Effect: By Destroying this Face-Up card, discard 1 card in your opponent's hand. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Ego Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/1 Star/ATK 200/DEF 100) in Defense Position. - Once again, I changed up his effect a little to make him more playable. This is the Blazing Ego, the burning Flame of the egos. Its effect works a lot like Exiled Force's so you can priority destroy him and get to discard. And like I've said before, you don't really lose anything when he's destroyed because you get a nice little monster for all of your troubles. 9Ego Maniac**********Atk: 0Def: 100Dark/Fiend/Fusion/Effect:(Overinflated Ego Face-up on your side of the field + Removing up to 5 "Ego" monsters in your Graveyard)This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. This card can be Special Summoned by fulfilling the conditions for Fusion Summon (you do not use "Polymerization")The Atk of this card is equal to the combined Atk of the Fusion material Monsters. A monster destroyed by this card by battle is removed from play. When this monster attacks it is switched to Face-Down Defense position at the end of the damage step. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Ego Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/1 Star/ATK 200/DEF 100) in Defense Position. - I changed his effect, from "1 or more" to "up to 5". I also made it so Overinflated Ego had to be on the field to fuse it. Also, it was changed from turning to Defense position, to Face-Down defense position, so he loses all of his ATK. - I really didn't know how to write out this cards effect, so let me explain. This card isn't fused by Polymerization or other methods like that, he is Fusion summoned by sending Overinflated Ego from the field to the Graveyard, and removing up to 5 "Ego" monsters in your Graveyard from Play. This card is really just a one hit wonder, He does tons of damage, removes the monster from play, then he's switched to Face-Down defense position. Once he's flip summoned, he has no more Atk. 10 Explosive EgoTrapOffer 1 "Ego" monster you control and destroy 1 card on the field. If the offered monster was "Inflated Ego" destroy up to 3 cards your opponent controls. if it was "Overinflated Ego", destroy every card your opponent controls. If it was "Ego Maniac", destroy all cards your opponent controls and every card in your opponent's hand. - A really nice card in Ego decks. If one of your Ego monsters is about to be destroyed just offer it and destroy one of your opponents cards instead. And if the offered monster happens to be a higher Ego, you can destroy more (EGO MANIAC, ALL THE WAY!!!) 11 Metamorphosis of Ego (conformation of ego) Continuous SpellOnce per turn, during your Main Phase, you can offer 1 "Ego Token" you control and pay 300 Lifepoints, to Special Summon 1 "Autonomous Ego" from your Graveyard in Defense Position. -Many uses for this card, When you activate Autonomous Ego's Effect with this card, you probably wanna pick "Glacial Ego" so you can get something out of him being destroyed. Also, this creates a Stepping Stone towards Inflated Ego, then Overinflated Ego. 12 Ego - Centric Universe (Original Ego - Creation of the Universe)Field SpellDestroy all cards you control. When this card is activated discard all cards in your hand. While this card is face-up on the field only "Ego" monsters can be Special Summoned by either player. Instead of conducting your normal Draw Phase, you can Special Summon 1 "Ego" monster from your Deck. Once per turn, during either players turn, you can pay 500 Lifepoints to Special Summon 1 "Ego" monster from your Graveyard. -This is a really nice Topdeck if you're down on your luck. Just play it, and suddenly Every Ego in your deck is a lot more accessible. But wait, what happens if you destroy Ego cards with the cost? Well I'll tell you what happens YOU GET SOME EGO TOKENS!!! But wait, there's more! Even after all of that destruction that just happened to your field, you can just go ahead and pay 500 Lifepoints to Special Summon another Ego! 13 Ego's Rebirth (Ego's Second Coming)Continuous SpellLevel 4 or lower "Ego" monsters you control gain the following effect: While this card is face-up on the field, by Summoning this card a second time and treating it as a Normal Summon, it gains the following effect- This card gains 500 Atk (-) This card is basically just for "Autonomous Ego". All level 4 or lower Egos you control basically become Dual monsters. If you don't like the monster you chose with "Autonomous Ego" just Normal Summon him again to get another monster, + an extra 500 Atk bonus. Great for all egos, due to their weak attack) 14 Transmissive Ego (Ego Infiltration)Quick Play SpellOffer 1 "Ego" monster you control, and select 1 monster your opponent controls with a level equal or less than the level of the offered monster. Take control of the selected monster. -As a quick play spell this card is very versatile. An example of using this card correctly is to attack with an Ego of your choice, Activate "Transmissive Ego" offer the monster that attacked, steal another monster, and attack with that one. Another way to stick it to your opponent is to activate this against any card that targets your Ego monsters. Snatch steal? Fissure? Enemy Controller? Brain Control? No, I think I'll offer the monster and take control of one of your monsters instead. Also, notice, it doesn't say "Until the end of the turn" you get to keep the monster your Ego Transmitted itself into. Of course with all effects like this, it goes to your opponent's Grave, or back to your opponent's hand and not yours. 15Alter Ego - The Darkness (Extra Ego - The Darkness) ****Atk: 1800Def: 100Light/Fiend/Effect: Decrease the Atk of a monster that battles with this card by 1000 until the end of the damage step. When this card is destroyed Special Summon 1 "Alter Ego TOken" (Fiend-Type/DARK/3 Star/ATK 1200/DEF 100) in Attack position Position. When an "Alter Ego Token" is destroyed, destroy 1 card your opponent controls, or discard 1 random card in your opponent's hand. This card cannot be targeted by Monster Card Effect while it is in the Graveyard - This card would be limited to 1 or banned in the official Limited/Banned list - FINALLY TO THE EXTRA EGO! This card is easily the best Ego of them all. Right off the bat, you notice this card has pretty high Atk already, but with its effect to decrease the Attack of a monster that battles with him by 1k he can already bump heads with 2800Atk monsters, and take down anything less. Also, because of his EXTREMELY GOOD EFFECT, I've been thinking of changing his name so "Ego isn't included. Having A simple card like "Autonomous Ego" have all of these effects make me sick to my stomach (not really :P ) If you have a suggestion on this tell me. Also, notice the Ego Token he creates. :shock: :shock: :shock: DANG, Even if he's destroyed he summons a 1200 Atk monster, AND if that token gets destroyed, you get to destroy or discard?!?!?!?!? THIS CARD IS INSANE!!!! 16Self-Centered Ego****Atk: 2100Def: 100Dark/Fairy/Effect: You can discard this card to the Graveyard to add 1 "Ego - Centric Universe" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is on the field and "Ego - Centric Universe" is not on the field, destroy this card. -Just to go with the whole Field searching theme here :P . Now I know what you're thinking: Hey, what if one of the inflated egos selects this card and takes it over with its huge Atk power? Well, unless "Ego - Centric Universe" is on the field it's going to die. 17 Ego Aggression Structure Continuous SpellIncrease the Atk of every face-up "Ego" monster you control by 100 points for each face-up "Ego" monster you control. If this card is destroyed by the cost of "Ego - Centric Universe" you do not have to discard your hand by its effect. - Gives the Ego monsters a little Atk boost. Also if it is destroyed by the Field you get to keep your hand. YAY! UPDATES! 5/12/07 18 Ego Displacement Quick Play SpellOffer 1 monster you control. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Ego" monster from your deck. - Like "Transmissive Ego" this quick play spell is very versatile. With most of the same capabilities as Transmissive. If a monster you control is targeted by anything, just offer it and Special Summon another one. Although, it doesn't destroy the monster, so you can't get an Ego's effect if you offer it. 19Master of Character******Atk: 2450Def: 1600Light/Fairy/Effect: You can use use 2 Tributes to Tribute summon this card. If you do this card gains the effects of all "Ego" monsters used as tribute for the tribute Summon of this card. -If you offer 2 of the same "Ego" monster, their effect combine. Example: If Alter Ego was used as tribute twice then the Atk of the monster would decrease by 2000 and you would Special Summon 2 "Alter Ego Tokens". Example: Voltege: 600 x level. Example: Blazing: discard 2 cards. Example: Glacial: Select 2 monsters or the same monster twice, either way it's only 4 turns, but the Atk is - 2400 or 1200 for twoExample: Windstorm: discard 1 to return 2. (I just feel like making it work that way :P )Example: Granite: Nothing extra would happen.Example: Gatekeeper: Gains 600 Atk for each ego - for every ego that applies, you will create 2 "Ego Tokens" when "master of Character" is destroyed. 20 Fleeting EgoTrapSpecial Summon 1 Level 4 or Lower "Ego" monster from your Graveyard. This card cannot attack and is destroyed during the End Phase. -Not a bad gig. Automatic Special Summoning of an Ego. For a quick tribute or to use one of their super awesome effects. Then once they're destroyed you get an "Ego Token" or "Alter Ego Token" 21 Shadow Soul StealingTrapActivate only if you control a face-up "Alter Ego - The Darkness". Select 1 Face-Up monster your opponent controls. Special Summon 1 "Alter Ego Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/3 Star/ATK 1200/DEF 100) in Attack position Position. When an "Alter Ego Token" is destroyed, destroy 1 card your opponent controls, or discard 1 random card in your opponent's hand. The selected monster is treated as a Zombie-Type monster, its Atk is increased by 500, and its Def is decreased to 0. - This card works like this. Take the soul of a monster on your opponents side of the field and Special Summon it to your side as an "Alter Ego Token". Then the Soulless monster becomes a Zombie, getting stronger, but also loses Defense. It is best to use this card on a Face-Up defense position monster, so you can get a monster, and the monster is weak enough to be destroyed by any Ego monster, or even the "Alter Ego Token" 22 Ego of Chaotic Balance******Atk: 1900Def: 100Dark/Fairy/Fusion/Effect:(Autonomous Ego + Alter Ego - The Darkness) This card cannot be Special Summoned except by fusing the above cards. This card is also treated as LIGHT and a Fiend-Type monster. When this card is Special Summoned, select 1 "Ego" monster in your Graveyard, the effect of that card is added to this card's effect. A monster that battles with this card's Atk is decreased by 1500 until the end of the damage step. When this card is destroyed Special Summon "Autonomous Ego" and or "Alter Ego - The Darkness" 23Gatekeeper of the Doomed Ego ***Atk: 1200Def: 100Dark/Zombie/Effect: Increase the Atk of this card by 300 for each "Ego" monster in your Graveyard. If this card exists in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you may Special Summon this card by offering 1 "Ego Token" you control. -A new Ego, yay. GUESS WHAT.... .... .... .... I'M MAKING ACTUAL CARDS FOR ALL OF THE EGO CARDS!!!! YAY!!!!! anyways, if this card is targeted by any of the Egos their Atk is increased by 300. Once an Ego monster that targets is sent to the grave, its effect is void, so you couldn't Special Summon an Ego that targeted this monster in the Graveyard.
