Akira
I needed to go for a blood test, so I was booked in to have the doctor do it. This was my first time so I was slightly nervous, not being a huge fan of needles, but I didn't think much of it. Anyway, this doctor proved to be incompetent as she shoved a needle in both arms and didn't manage to get any blood out. So there's me thinking I had mutant reinforced veins or something, but I was booked in to have the hospital nurse do it for me instead. Supposedly she'd be much better at it (and she was), but it even took her two attempts before she managed to get any blood out of me. Then I looked at my arm afterwards and found that the first doctor had aimed in completely the wrong place and gone nowhere near my vein, which was somewhat amusing in retrospect. So yeah, discuss experiences with doctors or whatever as I leave you with these wise words - never trust a quack. P.S. I will perform the Shungokusatsu on any insolent mortal who dares to defy the integrity of my post by announcing any such variations of Cool Story Bro Inb4 first post is Cool Story Bro

Cin
Actually you can look and not see veins, but that doesn't mean they're not there (I mean one's they've used). Several times I've gone blood doning, and haven't noticed the vein they've used because of the depth. Usually though they use one of those things for taking Blood Pressure, to get my veins up more, because they tend to 'disappear' when I go blood doning. My sister has the same problem with them getting a vein, and she's constantly have blood tests.
