Mario and Luigi, Lost in Space

[spoiler=Chapter 1- Year 2012, December]

Snow. That's what has been falling in Princess Peach's kingdom, the Mushroom Kingdom, for five straight days now. Even through the night. At least 20 inches of soft, pure white snow has slowly, and gracefully, fallened from the darkened sky. Everyone doesn't seem to mind though, they had all prepared for this. At Princess Peach's castle, not much is going on. Light conversation between the Toads, the war feeling of hot choclate running down your throat, and other small things. "It looks like the forecast for tomorrow is at least five more inches, your highness." says a servant to the beautiful Princess. "Thank You, go along now." The Toad smiles and walks away, closing the door behind him. Princess Peach, in her bedroom, giggles at her book, The Toad and The Frog. She finds the book very silly.She hears a knock at the door. She says, without taking her eyes off the book, "Come in." In his stained overalls and red cap enters Mario. He says, "I have some news for you." The Princess closes her book and looks up at him. He keeps going. "The leak in your basement has finally been fixed, so you won't have any more problems with the water." She gets up, kisses him, and says, "Oh, thank you Mario!" He blushes and smiles. Then, "Oh Yeah!" They turn to see the younger brother, Luigi. He smiles, but doesn't last for long when from down the hallway they all here, "Luigi!" Up to the doorway comes Princess Daisy. She slaps him very, very hard across the face. He falls, face first, down onto the ground. She walks away, angry. Luigi responds, "..." A couple moments later he gets up, a red-mark left behind. Mario asks, "What did you do this time?" Luigi says, "You know that bucket of oily water you told me to throw out the window? Well, I tripped over a Toad and Daisy got the water all over her. It wasn't very pretty." ario just shakes his head. Peach giggles. He then says, "Well, I guess it would be best that I go know and find something to do. Bye!" And with that, Luigi exits. Peach looks at Mario and says, "Have you been down to that new shop in Toad Mini-Square? They have flavored mushrooms, so yummy!" Mario looks at her and says, "No, I haven't yet, but I guess I'll go now. Goodnight!" Peach, walking towards her bed, says, "Goodnight!" Mario walks out of her room, closing the door behind him. Mario walks down the calm, quiet hallways, as everybody prepares for another night. He goes down th staircase, into the Lobby, and into the huge, red room, known as Toad Mini-Square. It's basically an oversized cafeteria with little stalls to buy food. Mario head over to the new stall. No one, except for Luigi, is in there. ario, unpleased with his brother, says, "Luigi, get out!" But it wasn't Luigi. It was a Green Goomba. He screams, "Oh no!" The Green Goomba shrieks out a battle cry. Everyone else in the cafeteria sees, then screams, than runs. Mario was the only one left to fight. Then, just as the Green Goomba was about to attack, a hammer comes flying through the air, hits the creature, and it faints. Mario turns around to see his brother Luigi, coming and picking up his hammer, and saying, "Mario, those things are coming out of some portal thing in the basement! We have to go see what's happening!" And with that, thay begin towards tha portal.

 

[spoiler=Chapter 2- The Gateway to the Universe]

Luigi leads his brother through the lobby. Then Mario suddenly remembered Peach. Stopping, he said, "I have to go and check on Peach!" Luigi hesitated, but let him go. Mario blasted through the halways, and finally got to her room. Without knocking, he opened up the door, to find her resting. But then she woke up. Peach asked, "Mario, what's going on?" He confessed, "Some portal in the basement has opened, and my brother and I are going to check it out." Peach looked like she saw a ghost. She replied,"OK, I'll keep my door and window locked tight to make sure nothing gets in." With that, Mario rushed, closing the door behind him, down to his brother. They kept runnung through the silent hallways, no monsters in sight. While running, Mario said, "I don't think Bowser has anything to do with this, for once." All his brother did was acknoledge him with an agreement nod. They finally got to the basement door. When they opened it, they were shocked.

there were so many Green Goombas in the basement that the Bros. thought they were dreaming. Even if they were, it wouldn't be a dream. It'd be a nightmare. Suddenly, half of the lights in the room exploded. Then, gushes of water came out of a gigantic water pipe. Then it happened. Out of the pipe came a gigantic monster, which looked like Bowser. Exactly, except for two things. The color. He, like the rest of the Goombas, were Green. He was also about five times Bowser's size. He let out an ear-piercing roar, louder than anything the Bros. had ever heard before. The monster screamed, "Mario! Go away before I get my minions to destroy you!" Before Mario evn said anything, the portal opened up. An army of Red Goombas, the same size as the Green, came out of the portal. Then, a monster, just like the Green one, stepped out. Everything was the same, except the color, Red. Just when both Bowsers were ready to go to war, Mario sceamed, "Stop!" Everything in the room looked at him. Mario continued, "Where did you all come from?" A Red Goomba answered him, "Marioworld, of coure." Then a Green Goomba popped up and said, "No, we came from Luigiland." Mario said, "So, the Red came from Marioworld, the Green from Luigiland?" The Bowsers this time answered him, "Yup. That's how it is." MArio thought something to himself. He said, "Can you take us there?" The Red Bowser said, "Mario, you can only come to Marioworld, and Luigi can only go to Luigiland." Mario said, "OK, but what about supplies?" The Green Bowser answered him, "Each planet is customized to who it's based on. That's why each of you can only go to your own world." The Bros. talked it over with eacch other. They came to an agreement. Thay said in unison, "OK, let's go!" The Goombas led them throughvthe portal, with the Bowsers following. The portal closed.

I was wandering through YCM City and decided to see the Fanfic House. I looked at a room titled Mario and Luigi, Lost in Space. Just being near the room gave me a creepy feeling. I slam the door open, and OSHI- It's a big block of text! Not only that! The whole thing was italicized! It made my eye burn like crazy! Even though I knew it was dangerous, I decided to try to tame the wild beast.

 

The first thing I noticed was the date at the top. It confused me a lot. I don't remember anything about a specified time in the Mushroom Kingdom, but apparently, they have one now. What purpose can it serve, I wonder?

 

This beast was very random. It had some useless content. Why do I need to know that the Toads were having small talk and that Peach found the book she was reading silly? The beast also barfed up several grammar and spelling mistakes; so not going to clean that up.

 

I thought it was third person, but at one point, it went second person on me out of no where!

 

Luckily, I found out it's fear. It's scared of Goombas! Isn't that crazy? It's scared of tiny creatures that could be easily killed. Apparently, everyone freaked out just because of ONE Goomba!

 

After a plethora of tries, I still failed to tame it. I decided to give up. And with that, I begin towards tha door.
