A DEK ABOUT RAINBOW DAK DRAGN

So, my friend created a deck based on Rainbow Dark Dragon, the card newbs put in their normal deck when they get one by simple luck. Not to mention that it's very hard to summon, it has no spell/trap immunity, making all people using it called bad.

 

 

Not this one. At least, it's not tier 1, but still, it's better than most other concept decks with Rainbow Dark Dragon.

Combo 1: Rainbow Nuke

 

Use Reasoning / Monster Gate to tribute that Treeborn or Scapegoat. Summon Phantom of Chaos, and copy that Demise you milled. Nuke the field. Activate Recurring Nightmare/Search with Magical Stone Excavation for Rainbow Dark Dragon. Activate its effect to remove a whole bunch of DARKs, making its ATK go over 8000, and go for the kill. Even if it doesn't go that high, there's another way of winning.

 

Combo 2: Grinder Plasma

 

If there's one monster on the field that you haven't normal summoned that turn, you can summon Grinder to your opponent's field. Tribute the tokens and monster for Plasma. Relinquish Grinder for massive ATK.

 

 

The Draw Engine is Trade-In, as you can see. That's why there's so many LV 8 monsters.

 

 

I know, it's far from finished. But still, if you could add comments, or think up better things to put in, I'll be happy.

Not really needed but generic stuff.

 

With Reasoning and Monster Gate both at 1, there isn't really enough dumping power without Dark Grepher and Armageddon Knight in here. Dark Grepher sort of helps with dead draws (dumping useless in-hand stuff to Special Summon itself while also dumping useless in-hand stuff while at the same time dumping stuff from the Deck) and Armageddon Knight dumps stuff and helps with deck thinning. Plaguespreader can also be used to topdeck an in-hand Rainbow Dark Dragon so you can fetch it from the top of your Deck after you've nuked with Norleras. Also, I don't think Recurring Nightmare will work if you only have 1 Rainbow Dark Dragon in your Graveyard because of how it's worded so Monster Reincarnation may have to be used instead.

your build is way too fat-guy heavy. i get the tradein engine idea, but could you have at least picked some that were summonable? its just.. meh.

 

also, 3 hand dest and 3 dwd is asking for a loss. it's too many -1's. void and upstart, though risky and costly, do it better.

 

and last, 3 duality? how do you intend to hold off on the turn, since you can't otk without special summoning? maybe add a roar?

Yeah. The Deck does kinda suck. With a lot of the stuff that helps either Limited or banned (Reasoning, Monster Gate, Dark Magician of Chaos, D-Draw, Allure, etc), there's not really a whole lot that can help. Your ideas are good.

Yeah. The Deck does kinda suck. With a lot of the stuff that helps either Limited or banned (Reasoning, Monster Gate, Dark Magician of Chaos, D-Draw, Allure, etc), there's not really a whole lot that can help. Your ideas are good.

 

Aww... true. Dark Magician of Chaos being forbidden, and Reasoning/Monster being limited were giant earthquakes against this deck.

my daedalus deck doesnt run daedalus. he's just not worth it. on that note though, wanna help me build my lolneoswiseman deck? we could sit around and argue it for days, it's still a bad deck to build.

I'm horrible at deck building. Proof: I'm lazy, and don't have time, so my current best deck is a nerfed Tele-DAD.
