I have never played Frog Monarch before so I'm pretty sure there's probably some error in here. All comments, suggestions, and criticisms are welcomed as always, thank you in advance. Bringerofcake
I believe Frognarchs run Treacherous Trap Hole over Bottomless, so that when they side in Nobleman of Extermination, they don't get hit with its effect. I could be wrong. However, Vanity's Ruler kinda shuts down the Frog engine, as it relies mainly on Special Summoning. It sucks, too. -2 Vanity+2 Kristya or LaDDBoth do the same thing, more or less, but LaDD negates more and Kristya sticks with the Fairies.
White Void
Vanity's Ruler only shuts down opponent's special summons, you're thinking of Vanity's Fiend. While he does suck in most decks, I don't see anything wrong with him in a deck that can generate 2 tributes easily per turn. Shutting down opponent synchroing and such while still being able to continue with the basic theme of Frog Monarchs is why I decided to base it around him. Kristya really would shut down frogs, it fits with the other Angels/Fairies but it brings the entire deck to a halt if everything isn't already in play. I'm avoiding LaDD for 2 reasons: I was trying to keep this build unique by using Angel O7 in his place and I personally am not that big a fan of LaDD, just never been a card that has appealed to me. I've seen Treacherous Trap Hole run in some Frogarchs before but I've seen Bottomless run in them before as well, I'm not sure which exactly is more standard. Thanks again for the suggestions though.
