Holos on Gimp

i am posting the tutorial of making a holo on gimp

 

1.save one of these to a picture file

2.Then save the card you want to be holoed to another file

 

 

3.Next Open Gimp up and go to file open then open the holo background and the card

 

 

4.on the holo backgound go to file copy

 

5.then on the card select tools/selection tools/rectangular select and make the square over the picture of the card

 

6.Then you right click go to file Paste into then the holo will go over the picture

 

7.Next take the gimp in the middle find layers and change the mode to soft light and if you want to make it thinner lower the opacity

Everything basically works for me fine' date=' except where is this file copy?

 

There is a file tab at the top of the opened file but it doesn't have copy, theres only copy under edit-

EDIT: Still doesn't work lol, maybe you should take screenshots to make the tut easier to follow

yeah

 

and when i open gimp now it takes away the thing to lighten it

how do i get it back?

you just go to whatever you want to take a screenshot of on your screen and then click this button(sorry if it's really big:():

 

ScreenshotButton.jpg

 

then just go to Paint and paste it there and then save it and upload it on photobucket,tinypic,other thing you use to upload pics

 

and that's all :P
