The Dark Warrior marches in, stealing our men

Made this today, it's for an upcoming archetype I'm working on - let's see if you can't figure out what the archetype does from this card's effect.

1 "Usurper" Tuner + 1 or more DARK monsters

During the End Phase, control of this card cannot switch. Once per turn, you can remove 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon 1 monster from your opponent's Graveyard. If it is a non-DARK monster, it cannot be used as a Tribute or as a Synchro Material Monster. During the End Phase, switch control of all monsters Summoned by this card's effect.[/align]

Do they "steal" monsters from your opponent's Graveyard temporally?

You could mix the "During the End Phase" effects in a single sentence to simplify the effect.

 

The effect is interesting, but sadly situational, as it depends of something you can barely control: your opponent's Graveyard. But when it works, it brings you a great advantage. At least the stolen monster can declare an attack.

You're close, I'll give you that. Thanks for the comment, btw.

 

And the reason I didn't group the End Phase effects together is because the first one is a Continuous Effect, (which I should probably re-word), and the last one is a Trigger Effect that happens to go off during the End Phase.

Im guessing all Usurper monster etheir have this type of effect:

Once per turn, you can remove 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard from play....

 

Or this

 

During the End Phase, switch control of all monsters Summoned by this card's effect.

 

Anyway, nice card, balanced, cool pic...

I'm actually going to change the first part of the effect to "Control of this card cannot switch during the End Phase." The point that no matter what, this card does not change controllers during the End Phase.

 

For example, if I used "Brain Control" on an opponent's "Usurper - the Dark Force", during the End Phase, I retain control of "Usurper - the Dark Force" because it can't change during the End Phase.

 

Appreciate the rate, though.

The second effect is closer, although DARK removal will probably be a cost that occurs quite frequently.
