Pokemon - The Great Adventure[started][accepting on OOC thread]

Huh? Were is he pointing at now? Trying to play tag with another pokémon? Wait... Quilava? THAT'S ME!

Out of sheer surprise, Spring dropped his berries and fell down the tree.

"Quiiiiilava!" {That hurts!}

Spring's eyes started to fill up with tears, than he realized that he was standing eye in eye with the human he was tailing for so long without getting noticed. But worse, the Elekid looked electrical charged and ready to shock Spring at a single command.

"Quilava, quilaavaa!" {This is a mistake Elekid, you don't want to attack!}

Then Springs personality changed once again.

"Quil, quilava!" {However, if you come, I'll be ready!}

As he said this, the flames on his back started growing and growing 'till they had reached their limit.

"Quilava!" {Come!}

Lucas saw Quilava fell from the tree. "Quilava! (I hope it's not hurt....)" Lucas thought to himself. "Elekid? (I don't?)" Elekid then noticed the personality change in Quilava. "Elekid, Elekid! (I'm only going to attack if Lucas said so!)" Lucas crouched down towards Quilava's height. "Umm, are you alright Quilava? You just fell out of that tree. You gave me quite a surprise when I saw you, hehe." Lucas said with a friendly smile. "Elekid, Elekid. (Don't worry we're friendly.)" Elekid stated with a friendly smile as well.

Spring's flames went back to their original state.

"Quilava, lava, lava." {Oh, sorry for getting hostile all of the sudden, I get that around humans.}

He then remembered that he fell out that tree, tears started coming again. However, he tried to remain cool, and smiled back at Lucas. He than stood up, on his back paws, and tried to make himself as tall as possible.

"Quil, quilava." {I will not falter, I stand tall and have great strength.}

Even though he said this, the pain remained.

He walked towards Elekid and greeted him, than he focused all his attention back to Lucas.

"Elekid, Elekid! (I'm glad you have that kind of confident attitude!)" Elekid said happily as he raised his arm up in show of strength. Lucas smiled as he saw Quilava's flames returning to normal. "Hehe, I'm glad you understand I'm not a bad guy. Anyways, you look like a really strong and confident pokemon aren't you?" Lucas then looked to the tall grass where the Rhydon was attacking a group of defenseless Rattatas. "Huh? Oh no, it's that Rhydon! Elekid, we've gotta do something to help those Rattatas out!" "Elekid! (Right!)" Lucas then quickly turned to Quilava. "Quilava, Elekid alone won't be able to fend off that giant Rhydon, will you help us?" Lucas asked with determination in his eyes. Meanwhile, the Rhydon was stomping it's feet in anger. "Rhydon!!!! (Get out of Ryhdon's grass!!!!)"

I tried this before and failed. Well, trying doesn't hurt I guess, unless I'm beaten to a pulp.

He looked at Lucas, and the fire in Spring's eyes grew immense.

"Quilava!"{Of course!}

Quilava's flames grew once more, all the way to their limit again.

"Quil-Lava!"{Rhydon is going down!} he yelled as he was preparing to charge him.

Lucas nodded and gave a confident smile towards Spring. "Alright let's do this you guys!" Elekid remained uncharged because it knew Rhydon's ability was Lightningrod, which renders electric-type attacks useless. "Alright, Ryhdon's a Rock and Ground type which means fire and electric attacks are out of the question. Elekid use Brick Break, and if you can Quilava, use Quick Attack, try to aim for its head!" Lucas yelled out to the two. "Elekid! (Here I go!)" Elekid ran towards the huge Rhydon and used Brick Break on Ryhdon's leg, causing it to stumble over, this was the chance for Spring to attack Rhydon's head.

No fire attacks? What is he talking about? I'll show you something!

He saw Rhydon falling down.

"Quilava!" {Flamethrower!}

Rhydon was engulved in fire once again, but it didn't affect him.

"Qui?" {What?}

Rhydon was about the stand up.

Okay then! If it helps.

"Quilava."{Quick-attack} he hit Rhydon's head successfully and the huge pokémon went down again.

"Rhyyydoooon!{Pestering rat,, me squash you! First stand up.}

What do I do, what do I do

Spring ran towards the Rhydon and used tackle, Rhydon was thrown away.

Rhydon got up once again, even after that barrage of attacks. "RHYDON!!!! (YOU DEAD!!!!)" Rhydon was extremely angry. He charged at Elekid and Spring with amazing speed, even for a Rhydon. "Rhydon's using Take Down! Elekid quickly help Quilava get higher up to attack Rhydon's head once more! And Elekid, after that use Focus Punch!" "Elekid! (Got it!)" Elekid then gently but quickly threw Quilava high up in the air. "Quilava! Use your strongest Tackle!" Elekid then focused all of its energy into its fist. "Elekid!" Elekid punched Rhydon's leg with extreme force, causing the Rhydon's movements to halt. Now Quilava can finish things off.

Spring was high in the air, looking down upon the world.

I wish I could stay up here for a little longer. No, no I mustn't, there is no time!"

He regained his balance in the air and started spinning, aiming at the Rhydon down there.

It's do or die, hope I can control it.

"Quilava! Quilava!" {Prepare your self! Flame Wheel!}

Spring started spinning at incredible speed, while his body engulfed in flames.

Almost, almost!

-CLEAN HIT-

Spring's attack was dead-on. Head against head, who's was stronger?

Spring's flames went out and caught a last glimp of Rhydon going down, before he passed out.

Upon impact, Rhydon stumbled backwards, with his eyes in a spiral-like manner. "Rhy-don..... {THUD}" Rhydon fell to the ground and was knocked out completely. "Yeah, you and Quilava did it! Huh? Quilava!" Lucas and Elekid ran over to Spring who was unconcious at the moment. "Oh no, Quilava! Wake up! This is no good, we've gotta get Quilava back to my house!" "Elekid! (Right!)" Lucas held Spring in his arms and with Elekid following beside him, Lucas quickly ran towards Pallet Town. After they have left, a young man walked through the tall grass. "Rhydon! Where are you?! Hopefully not causing trouble!" The young man then noticed Rhydon on the ground. "Huh? I leave for ten minutes and here I find you unconcious. {Sigh} Rhydon, you're so much trouble....."

 

The young man returned Rhydon to its pokeball and walked off. Afterwhich, a whole swarm of pokemon returned to the area. Lucas and Elekid continued their way towards his house, when they spotted the others on the road. "Lucas. Huh? Is that a Quilava?" "No time, I'll explain to you guys later!" Lucas continued on, finally reaching his house. After explaining to his mom, Lucas was in his bedroom taking care of Spring with Elekid's help. "I hope Quilava wakes up soon....." "Elekid.... (Yeah....)"

Oh, my head. What happened? I was fighting something...

Spring was turning so heavily in his sleep that he fell from the bed he was laying in.

"Quilava?!"{Rhydon?!} he yelled.

Where am I, is this some sort of Poké-heaven? Oh never mind, there was the kid, unless he died as well. Killed by Rhydon, that means I failed in my task of defeating him.

Tears ran down his face.

But my head is really hurting, I tought heaven was gentle and painless, yeez.

 

OOC: :p Imma go to sleep. It's almost 2AM here, and I have an exam in the morning. -_-

Lucas sat by the bed, waiting for Spring to awoke. Elekid was sitting on the bed waiting as well. "I hope Quilava'll wake up soon. That last attack took a lot out of him, and not to mention a direct hit to Rhydon's head. Even though Flame Wheel's a fire-type move, it was able to defeat Rhydon. Wow, Quilava sure is strong...." Lucas said to himself. Elekid noticed Spring beginning to awaken and quickly got up on the bed. "Elekid! Elekid! (Hey look! Quilava's awake!" Elekid yelled out while pointing at Spring. "Huh?" Lucas stood up and noticed Spring was beginning to wake up. "Hey Quilava! Quilava, are you alright?!" Lucas asked worryingly.

Trinity placed her hands on her hips watching as Lucas was walking back to Pallet town, this time holding a feinted Quilava. "Geeze, you take a few minutes to tie your shoes and you miss everything." She muttered before looking at her shoes. "Although, that is a very pretty knot."

 

"So should we head back to Pallet Lily? I imagine you and Alex don't want to leave without Lucas, and I'm in no rush to leave so I don't mind waiting." Trinity said placing her hands behind her head. "Besides now that I think about it I left my Potions, and pokeballs back at my house."

"Go back? Well I don't want to leave if any of my friends are in trouble, but of course if you guys want to keep going then we can." Lily answered. She then looked towards Pallet Town. "I hope that Quilava will be alright. I can't stand to see pokemons getting hurt. I'm guess I just a solfty..... Lucas may not look it, but he really cares deeply for all pokemons. Even pokemons who are complete strangers..... I guess that's one of his better qualities..... Well anyways, Trinity, Alex, what do you guys want to do?"

"I've got the Pokemon, I can wait. We can train." Alex tried to look happy. But then he looked at Lily. "Isn't a Zubat outside a cave during the day weird? Wait, I wandered a good bit to find this one. Deeper Forest, less light, perfect for Zubats. That Quilava-wait, according to my map, we're almost at Viridian. Call Lucas back, unless it rains, that Pokemon will live. Tally Ho!" He laughs. "Just kidding, I have ALWAYS wanted to say that. We should get to Viridian quick to make sure this Quilava makes it." He handed the map back to Lily, which he pick pocketed from her before the journey even left Pallet. Meanwhile, Dragon was still fighting Dimitri, "Then how is he able to-" Pidgeot fell into a sleep as Dragon spoke.

OOC: Can I use like heals if I already bought stuff like that at the mart?

Avery finally decided to get a move on his journey. He packed his bags and left Saffron promising himself he will only return when he fights the Gym leader. He is now going onwards towards pewter city, the first gym leader. As he is going to Vermillion city to catch a boat ride towards Pallet town, he comes across a wild pigdey. "Well, this should be a good warm-up battle, GO Rhyhorn" Rhyhorn flies out and uses Rock throw quickly to easily defeat the pigdey. The boat started to leave to the port. "WAIT" he yelled across town, and started running towards the ship, but it left without him. A man in corner started cackling "You need to get across? Maybe if one of your pokemon knew surf you would get there with ease" he said. "Yeah maybe, but Rhyhorn can't learn it until he becomes a Rhydon and I don't have any Water pokemon."

 

The man continued to cackle. "How about this, you beat me in a battle and I'll give you a Good rod?" Avery thought that it was worth it, but then he thought I have a while before the next boat comes and I could catch something useful. "You're on" he said. "GO Rhyhorn" Avery yelled. "Go Drowzee" said the man

 

"Rhyhorn use headbutt"

"Drowzee dodge and use confusion"

Drowzee dodged the attack, but Rhyhorn wasn't there.

"Where did he go?" shouted the man

"Come out from the ground"

Rhyhorn flew out of the ground and hit Drowzee

"Now use Rock Throw for a combo"

Rhyhorn hit Drowzee with a Rock Throw

The battle was over.

 

"Well kid I'll give you the Good Rod, now don't you lose to anyone else" said the man. "I won't" Avery said

He started fishing and yanked in a Magikarp. "I guess good rods pull in stronger Magikarps" He throw a Lure ball quickly and Magikarp was caught. Avery gave it a Rare candy and it Evolved into Gyarados. now I can get to Pallet town and head to Pewter City He taught it surf and headed out to sea

Oh, maybe I'm not dead after all. he thought, while looking at Lucas with half-opened eyes.

"Quil-"{Good mor-}

Maybe I should rest some more, I can hardly talk, let alone walk.

He felt into a deep sleep once more.

"Zzz, zzz."

OOC: Well, they don't in the show, also this is taking long enough without them so I won't if you won't.

Dimitri smirked when Pidgeot fell asleep. "Gengar, use Dream Eater!" Pidgeot health was drained!! "Hah, now a dream eater each turn will allow Gengar to slowly regain his health." Dimitri's eyes then closed, "Remember last time i did this? It was the first time I beat you." Dimitri opened his eyes back to the battle. "There is no certainty that I will win, but I have to say right now I'm in favor of winning."

Lucas noticed that Spring was alright. "Well that's good....." Lucas fell to the floor and gave a sigh in relief. "Whew..... I'm guessing that Quilava's really tired, I'll let it rest....." Back to the others, Lily was just told to get Lucas. "Alrighty, I'll be back in a little bit." Lily began to run towards Pallet, reaching Lucas' house in a short time. "Hey Lucas are you there?" "Huh? Lily. What are you- Oh that's right the others. They're probably waiting for me aren't they?" "Yep, c'mon bring along Quilava. We've gotta get going." "Alright." Lucas then placed Spring in his backpack and went off with Lily, followed by Elekid behind. "Quilava should be safe and comfortable in my backpack, and I left the zipper open for it to breathe." Lucas and Lily quickly made it to Alex and Trinity.

Avery just surfed past cinnabar Island and was on his way towards Pallet Town. I'm surprised I haven't come across a trainer yet. Normally their are a lot on this route he thought. As he approached Pallet Town he saw a trainer swimming. "hey, you want to battle" he called out. The trainer passed on the battle and Avery moaned. He got to Pallet town. He looked around at the town and no one was really there he left Pallet Town and noticed Four Trainers in a group togather. a perfect oppurtunity to train some more he thought. He called out to them and said "hey, you four, I challenge one of you to a battle"

While Lily went to get Lucas, Trinity ran back to the house, which was surprisingly empty, and grabbed the extra potions and pokeballs she forgot earlier. When she got back she saw that her two pokemon hadn't even noticed she was gone, and was still playing. She also noticed that Lily and Lucas wasn't back yet.

 

"Gee, I hope that Quilava was ok. It's taken her an oftly long time to get-Well, nevermind." Trinity smiled cutting herself off, at seeing both Lily and Lucas making their way back over. "Glad you two could make it. So where's that Quilava that you helped? Did you let it go?"

"Huh? Oh the Quilava. Nope I still have it. See." Lucas turned around and pointed towards Spring who was asleep in his backpack with its head sticking out. "It's okay now, but I just have to take it along to make sure it doesn't get attacked while it's still unconcious. Anyways, I'm all set to get going to Viridian! I heard there was a gym there, but I also heard it's closed." Lucas satated. Lily then turned to Lucas. "Actually the last time I've been there I didn't see anyone, so probably it is closed. Oh well, the next closest gym is Pewter." Lily said.

The group seemed to ignore him and Avery decided to move on towards Viridian City. Huh I'm pretty sure that there is a Gym leader here, but they're the strongest Gym leader. I think I'll just move on towards Pewter. he thought. He headed into Viridian Forest. Man, only bug pokemon. I don't need those he thought. He noticed a bug catcher. "Hey Bug dude, I challenge you." Again he was ignored. I'm getting ignored pretty often now. Maybe a few pranks or traps will get their attention he thought. Avery set some traps and giggled to himself all the way through the forest. Hope someone gets caught, that would be hilarious

Zach woke up with all of his pokemon out of their pokeballs. Heracross was stuck to a tree. He probably fell asleep while sucking on sap from it. Horsea was sleeping right next to shuckle's shell. Cyndaquil was on the back of Porygon who slowly began rising into the sky, then falling back down even slower. "Now where'd Mareep go?" he asked himself. Mareep liked to wonder around. He found it staring at a river. "C'mon Mareep, we gotta get a move on." Mareep gave a slight wimper. the River was sooo shiny. Zach smiled. "We'll come back some day." Now that Zach and Mareep were back, all the others were awake. "Well is everyone ready?" they all gave a shout and got out of Viridian Forest. "Cool...Pewter City."

"Then to Pewter it is." Trinity grinned, "And when we get there that gym badge is as good as mine!"

 

"Pichu/Vulpix!(That's right!)"

 

Trinity smiled before turning to the three kids with her. "Pardon if I'm repeating this question, but are all of you going for the gym badge? I know all of you are trainers, but I've met a few who doesn't bother with gym battls, and is only interested in finding new pokemon." She said, Pichu once again finding a spot on her head. "Will you sit still? You're like a little bundle of energy."
