Pokemon - The Great Adventure[started][accepting on OOC thread]

"Well I'm definately going for the gym badge that's for sure! And I know that Alex is too." Lucas answered. "Well, I've tried gym battles before, but I don't really like them that much, so I'm not going for any gym badges. I'm just accompanying you guys I guess." Lily answered after Lucas. "But first I need to catch another pokemon, I don't think Elekid alone could handle multiple pokemons one after the other, so basically I'm going to try and capture another pokemon before the gym battle. Anyways, let's go then you guys, we're burning daylight."

Spring started waking up.

Wha- Why am I in the air? What is this for human torture device?! he thought, referring to the backpack.

He then tried to jump out of the backpack, but for his lack of strength at the moment, he didn't even jumped. He just fell out, right on his face.

"Quiwawa." {Gwod dawmn iwt} he said while spitting the dirt out.

Now to make my stealthy exit!

Even though everyone had already noticed that he fell, he still tried to run, but couldn't move.

Just my luck, I'm immobilized for god sake. I'll never ever challenge another Rhydon again, ever!

Lucas noticed his backpack was moving and then saw Spring fell out of the backpack. "Huh? Quilava!" Lucas noticed Quilava trying to escape but wasn't able to move. Lucas and Elekid rushed over to Spring. "Hey Quilava are you alright?" "Elekid?! (Are you hurt?!)" Lucas picked Spring up and held Spring gently in his arm while still kneeling down on the ground. "Quilava, you just barely woke up. You shouldn't try to do rashy things like that. You could get seriously hurt again." "Elekid! (Yeah!)"

If I were able to talk, I could say something... But what. Either way, I'll just nod. That will clear things up.

Spring gave a quick nod towards Lucas.

Now what do I do? Can't run, can't sleep, can barely talk... Yes, I am truly doomed for the rest of my life.

I should make a deal with this Lucas person, but what deal? Maybe I could train him, I could put him in a ball those people are throwing towards the pokémon. Muhaha- No that wouldn't be right. I should calmly look at my options. Either getting sucked in by one of those ball thingy's, or dieing. Definitely not the latter. Meh, but how do I get inside one of those balls? I saw one of the others fight and then throw it.

Yeah, when I'm better I'll charge the Lucas person. But if I'm better, couldn't I better run or something then? No, no, let's stick to battle plan #1.

Lucas looked confused as he noticed Spring thinking to itself. "Umm, Quilava are you alright?" "Elekid, Elekid? (What's the matter?)" Lucas then placed Spring gently down on its legs and looked at it intently. "Hey Quilava, I don't know if you want to or not, but would you like to be one of my pokemons? It'll be fun, afterall traveling to different and unfimiliar places. Whataya think?" Lucas asked. "Elekid! Elekid! (Yeah it would be nice having another teamate!)" "So I guess nod if you agree."

"Quil- Quilava?" {So I'll get sucked in the ball??} Spring asked, with a puzzled look, at Elekid.

Maybe this'll work out after all. He thought.

"Quilava, quilava." {You know what, it's ok.}

He then gave Lucas a nod and stood up on his back paws, waiting for Lucas to throw the pokéball.

"Finally Pewter City" yelled Avery. He gave a huge sigh of Relief. "Man, what I wouldn't give for soda pop. Hm?" As he was just about to enter he noticed a Pidgeotto. "Perfect, this guy is just what I need, GO Dratini"

 

"Dratini, use Thunder Wave"

Pidgeotto was PRZ and cannot attack

"Now use Dragon Rage"

Pidgeotto used Quick Attack

"Go pokeball"

1,2, Close but it got out

"Darn, Dratini use wrap and don't let it get away"

"Now Pokeball"

"Yes onward"

Avery entered a Pokemon Center and Healed his 4 Pokemon. "now, where is the Gym? There it is, Hey Gym dude, get ready cause your going down" he yelled and rushed on in.

 

OOC: if you played pokemon Yellow then you would know you can catch a Pidgeotto this early in case any of you are complaining.

Pokemon Roster Update: Currently have

Rhyhorn (starter)

Dratini (starter)

Gyarados (Caught Magikarp on Good rod, which have pokemon at lv 20 and gave rare candy)

Lucas' eyes widened as Spring nodded. "Wow really? That's great. Alright, Quilava, you're gonna be my new teamate!" Lucas exclaimed excitingly as he took out a pokeball and got near Spring. "Alright, here we go." Lucas then gently tapped the pokeball onto Spring's head and the pokeball opened up with Spring going inside. The pokeball shook a little bit but then stopped signaling succees. "Yeah! I've caught Quilava!" "Elekid! (Yeah!)" Lily smiled from afar as she saw what happened. "Alright, I choose you Quilava, well actually I'll think I'll give Quilava a nickname. It had great skills in jumping like a metal spring, hey that's it, I'll call it Spring. Alright, I choose you Spring!" Lucas threw the pokeball with Spring appearing. "Alright Spring, let's win gym badges together!"

"Quilavaa!" {Yosh, here we go!} Spring said with a big smile.

Oh, if i could cry- he stopped himself there for a minute. Nope, I probable wouldn't, but this is a great moment though. And my legs are moving again, does that ball contain magic of some sort?"

Spring stood on two legs again, before Lucas. Even though he was caught, he still had some leadership traits within him.

Oh, correct. I walk next to the person who caught me. See, I'm learning.

"Huh? Wonder where he is?" wondered Avery, "Wnder if that gyym guy is around like in all the other Gym" He looked around and saw the Gym guy. "Hey, do know where the Gym leader is?" "Sorry, he is out right now" he replied. "Okay I'll wait around." he said. maybe I could develop a tactic to win Avery thought.

Lucas smiled widely. "Hehe, awesome, now I have two pokemons on my team! Elekid and Spring, I have a feeling with you two on my team, winning gym battles will be a breeze!" Lucas exclaimed happily as he placed his hands onto Elekid and Spring, petting the two happily. "Well, anyways, we should get going soon." Elekid looked at Spring and gave Spring a thumbs up and a smile. Lucas then stood up from the ground and faced the others. "Well c'mon you guys, let's get going!" Lily smiled at Lucas. "Right."

Michael finally made it back to his Gym, he had a nice walk, plenty of time to think about many of the things that were going on in his life. I'd really like to get out and explore alot, maybe give up being a Gym Leader and go catch some Pokemon and just travel. He looked down at his Sandshrew who was walking beside him. "What do you think Sandshrew, would you like to go explore and do some traveling?" Sandshrew gave a sign that made Michael believe he thought it was a good idea. "Ok then, we will leave in a few days, but until then I still have to battle trainers." Michael thought getting out and seeing the world would do him some good.

Avery noticed Michael walk in. "Hey you're the Gym Leader right, how about a battle"

A little boy was at the Gym and asked Michael for a battle. Michael looked at him, he looked a little young, but he looked like a skilled trainer. "Sure, please follow me to the arena." Michael walked through the main doors and into the arena. The arena was set up like a giant stadium, very big. Only thing is it had a few large rock pillars stading inside of it. "Ok well my name is Michael the Gym Leader of Pewter City! And we shall each use only 2 Pokemon, so hopefully you trained them well." Michael threw out a pokeball and out came Hitmoncahn. "Go Hitmonchan!" The Hitmonchan jumped up on top of one of the closed pillars and stood ready for a battle.

Avery followed Micheal into the Arena. It looked very imppressive for just the first Gym. wow this amazing, I have never seen inside a Gym before. thought Avery. "okay" said Avery. micheal sent out Hitmonchan. "Go Pidgeotto" Pidgeotto flew to the other pillar opposite of Hitmonchan. "By the way, my name is Avery, make sure to remember it because I'm the one winning this match "Pidgeotto use Double Team" copies of Pidgeotto swarmed the Stadium and surrounded Hitmonchan.

 

OOC- I'll wait for your reaction to put in my next move/combo

"A Pidgeotto, nice choice, but not good enough I'm afraid." Michael smiled. "Ok Hitmoncahn, use Double Team!" a same number of Hitmonchan began to swar the stadium. They all began to jump around and the original was well hidden. "So it seems we have a problem here huh?" Michael laughed. Well lets see how he handles this, this will be his test to see how good he is Michael thought to himself. So there it was, many Hitmonchans jumping around the stadium, waiting for the Pidgeotto's to make a move, something that might make this a better fight.

Avery smirked. "you fell for it" said Avery. "okay Pidgeotto you know what to do, fly out ward" the copies flew out towards the edge of the Stadium and began flapping their wings hard. "Take this Gust" The wind that the copies made filled the stadium with the sand on the ground of the stadium hiding Pidgeotto from sight. "Now swift" Staars flew out of the sand and headed towards all the copies. Let's see how you handle this one Micheal. It took me awhile to come up with this. If I can't hit just one, I'll hit them all. Avery smiled once more and began to plan his next move.

 

OOC- It's almost 10 pm where I am so hopfully we can wrap this up before 11, might leave half way through to prep for sleep

Michael was a little shocked, but he had a plan for this situation. "Ok Hitmonchan, use Agility!" The Hitmonchans began to jumpfrom the pillars at amazing speeds and most were able to dodge the Swift, but a few got hit. As the copies vanished, Michael got an idea. "Ok Hitmonchan, break Double Team." The copies all began to vanish and just a lone Hitmonchan was standing on the ground of the stadium, un-moving, and not showing signs of fear. Take the bait Michael thought.

Hm? I didn't expect this, c'mon think think.....Got it. "Okay Michael, let's try this then Pidgeotto use Quick Attack around the gust and keep firing off Swift." The Stars start shooting out at a much faster rate and the minor gust was turning into a small tornado with the quick attack speeding it up. The stars surrounded Hitmonchan trying to leave him little room to manuvear. okay Michael you got my attention with your last move, but I won't let you get your vision on Pidgeotto. Now try to break throuh the tornado and fall for my trap

Zach finally arrived at Pewter City. He walked into the pokemon center and back out in an instant. "Too many people..." he said with a sigh. He then stood outside a gym. He went inside and saw a Pidgeotto fight against a Hitmonchan. "Hm...this gym doesn't seem that bad..." He walked out. 'Nobody's at the Museum probably..' he thought to himself. He walked inside the museum. As he thought it was empty. All of his pokemon marveled at all the bones and skeletal structures of old pokemon. It had recently been updated because of Sinnoh and Hoenn discoveries. Shuckle finally entered the Museum gasping for air. "Sorry bud..I would carry you...but you're really heavy!" They both laughed.

Trinity smiled watching Lucas. "Good, now let's get going." She grinned, only to frown when she saw that they had already started walking. "H-hey! Wait for me!" She yelled running up to catch up with the others. So if we walk the whole way there then it would take us at least a week to get to Pewter....Maybe. I guess it depends on how many detures we take, and how much we rest. Oh well, I guess I should just enjoy the walk.

Kadabra ended up being knocked into the middle of a battle through a window of a Stadium. It was between the Gym leader and his opponent. Four corrupted Unknowns then came flying in after the badly hurt kadabra. "Darn! Get away from me!" Kadabra ended up using Confusion on tow of them and threw them into the walls, he then collapsed in the middle of a battle while the unknown flew towards him with a merciless intent.

"Pidgeot, return!" Dragon yelled & brought back Pidgeot. "Go, Heracross! Use Shadow Claw!" Heracross did as it was told. "Keep doing so until you can't any more! And then use Night Slash!" Dragon looked determined to win, he had to so his plan could work. Meanwhile, Alex sipped a water. He looked at the Pikachu on his head. "Jacob. That fits." Pikachu, now Jacob, jumped into Alex's arms. He shocked Alex, & he went on another Shocking Spree, then stopped. "Lucas, you caught the- Dang it! I'll still be the best!"

Gengar doged most off the shadow claws but then the night slash hit dead on. "Gengar is unable to battle! The round goes to Heracross!" the ref announced. "Let's go, Houndoom!" The ref then stated, "Houndoom vs. Heracross, begin!" Dimitri then began to order Houndoom, "Use Smokescreen then Flame wheel!" Dimitri ordered, "My Gengar may be out but the battle can still be mine!" Dimitri knew this was not going to be easy.

"Huh? What the" said Avery. A Kadabra came in through the window during the battle. Four it fainted as four unknown began to attack it. "Michael! We have to help out that Kadabra." Pidgeotto stopped it's attack and flew to help out th Kadabra. "Pidgeotto, use Swift." The stars bombarded the four unknown. The Unknown were shocked and noticed Hitomchan and Pidgeotto. They fled the scene. Avery looked at the Kadabra and helped it to its feet. Those Unknown seemed a bit more fecios than most pokemon. Wonder if Michael knows something I don't. "hey michael, do know something about those unknown?" said Avery
