Pokemon - The Great Adventure[started][accepting on OOC thread]

"Go Hitmonlee!" A Hitmonlee flew out of it's Pokeball. "Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, take that Kadabra to our medical wing to get some medical attention, I'll be right behind you." The Pokemon nodded and then walked over to the unconcious Kadabra and picked it up and began to walk with it. Michael looked around his gym to make sure the Unknowns hadn't damaged anything. "Stupid Team Rocket, don't they know they can't conduct those experiements on Unkonwns! They are far to unstable!" Michael began to walk to the medical wing. "I'm sorry Avery, our battle must be postponed." Michael felt bad, but he needed to go to this Kadabra.

[The_Duck]

"Wait" said Avery. "You own me an explanation first. You said something about Team Rocket. I thought they disbanded 3 years ago when the Unknown experiment blow up their HeadQuarters. So, what are they doing back here?" Avery had a very serious look on his face and it appeared that he was not going to leave without an explanation. "You must know something I don't so start talking, I have plenty of time." If team rocket really is behind this does that mean they started the Unknown experment again

Kadabra awoke in a medical wing, a human medical wing. "What the!? Let me out!" THe second Kadabra stood up, he laid back down, he was far to exhausted when he saw a Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee in ther with him. "What the? Are you working with humans? Why? Why would you work with humans!? Filty creatures they are! May Ho-oh have pity on you!" Kadabra did not like humans at all!

[Daxter]

Michael took a deep breath. "Look kid, I understand why you'd be interested, but I'm not in the mood to be interegated by a 13 year old." Michael started to walk away. "Just let it go, if you get involved with Team Rocket, bad things might happen...trust me." Michael went in the elevator to go the medical wing. "Take care Avery, maybe we will meet again." The elevator doors closed and Michael went up to the medical wing where he found his Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee with the wounded Kadabra.

"Easy friend, you were wounded, my friend, a human, told us to give you shelter. Could you tell us what happened to you.?" Michael walked up to them. Hitmonchan looked at Michael, then back at Kadaba. "Ok, so start from the begining, what happened to you?"

Avery looked at him and began to walk away. If he knew a few things about me he would know that I'm already involved more than he knows ever since that day. Avery left the gym in disgust and started to walk around town. He headed to the Pokemon Center and healed his Pidgeotto. I wonder what he knows exactly maybe I should go back to that place. Nah, last time i went there HE wasn't around. Avery decided to go into the Muesem to pass the time for a while. He was soon bored and went on towards the gym to know exactly what happened. He began easedropping on the conversation. "Dratini come out" Dratini sprong out and began attempting to translate what was going on in the room.

 

OOC- Dratini makes letters of the human Alphabet to translate what is being said. It makes Avery able to know what pokemon are saying more easier than most people. Avery's connection to Team Rocket his that Zapdos saved his life once during the invasion of Silph Co Tower.

Zach and all of his pokemon walked out of the Museum. He saw that the trainer who had been in the gym had easily had been defeated. "Come on guys, let's go teach the Pewter Gym a thing or two." he said with a smirk. He saw the trainer again with a Dratini. Zach approached him. "Hmph...Were you defeated that easily? That's pretty pathetic seeing that you had a flying type." Zach wasn't even looking at the trainer. instead he was staring at the gym.

Lucas gave a confident smile towards Alex. "Hehe, we'll see about that! Well, no more standing around you guys! We're burning daylight, so c'mon! I'm gonna go on ahead for a little bit." Lucas stated. "Again? Why can't you just calm down a little bit....." Lily responded. "Heh, don't worry, I'm not gonna go far. I'm just gonna go see if there's anything we gotta look out for like big wild Rhydons." Lucas then rushed up ahead and suddenly fell. "Elekid! (Lucas!)" Elekid ran over and saw Lucas in a ditch. "Ow..... Who put this hole here?....."

Kadabra turned his heat to the Hitmon pokemon (Didn't want to spell both out) and started telling what had happened. "I, I was meditating outside of Cerulean cave, I had a vision, a vision of Team rocket nurturing unkown and, destroying Pewter City, so i came here and Saw and unkown who's eye was red! It was tainted, evil, no... corrupted by Team rocket." Kadabra hated Team rocket more than any other human. "I tried to stop it, but then they ganged up on me, I didn't know what to do, I was in shock."

"Actually a Kadabra came into the gym and interrupted the fight. The gym leader postponed the battle." said Avery to the kid who approached him. "But I will battle you and show you that it would be easy for me to defeat the leader." Dratini's kind look turned nasty and got into its battle postition. "So, how about it" Avery smirked awaiting the other kid's response. This kid will be a cinch to defeat when Dratini gets angry.

"Oh I see, so Team Rocket is responsible for this...thats what my friend said." Hitmonchan looked over at Michael and back towards Kadabra. "You know Kadabra, all humans aren't bad, my human has been the greatest thing that has ever happened to myself and his other pokemon. I'm sure if you wanted to, you could come with us, I mean, be apart of our family, our team, and together, we could stop team rocket. Cause our human, is the greatest human you will ever meet, the first time I met him, he jumped in front of a Hyper Beam that a Gyrados had fired at him while I was weaken...he took the blast for me and was in the human hospital for a while. So he never caught mee, I choose to go with him. And he would do the same for you. So what do you say, will you join us?" Hitmonchan tried his hardest to convince Kadabra, he just hoped he did.

Zach finally looked at the trainer. "Hmph...I'm not afraid of that puffball of a Dratini. You're on!" Zach sent Shuckle out, who had finally caught up from the Museum. "Even though this is my first battle, i'm pretty sure we can beat you." Zach said confidently. "Your Dratini is no match for my Shuckle, sadly, this won't be as fun as i hoped." The Shuckle withdrew its self into it's shell and rolled slowly onto the battlefield. It popped out with a smile on it's face.

What happened? He was running there not long ago Spring thought.

Spring ran towards the place where Lucas fell..

"Quilava?" "What happened?" he asked Elekid.

Elekid motioned his hand in a "I don't know." kind of way. "Elekid?! Elekid?! (You okay Lucas?!)" Lucas pulled himself up from the hole and lay there breathing heavily. "Why would someone just dig a hole in the middle of the road like that? I hope I don't encounter anymore....." Lucas said to himself as he stood up from the ground. "Are you alright Lucas?!" Lily yelled from afar. "Don't worry, I'm alright!" Lucas responded. "Hey Elekid, Quilava, have any of you seen my Pokedex anywhere?" Lucas asked as he search around his clothing. "Elekid, Elekid. Elekid, Elekid. (Can't say I have. How about you Spring?)"

"Okay, it'll be a 1 on 1 match. I'll make the first move" said Avery. "Dratini, Use Thunder wave" Dratini curled up and fired off threee yellow circles of Electrity at Shuckle. "And now use Dragon rage" the blue flames spouted out of Dratini's mouth and followed the waves making the attack a combo. "By the way I'm Avery. You don't have to tell me yours, but take note of mind cause this wil be your first battle and your first loss." This match is as good as mine. Shuckle is too slow to dodge

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach huffed. "Poor poor avery...the name's Zach..Zach Mito. And i'm sorry, but this'll be my first win! Shuckle, use Safeguard!" Shuckle smiled as three blue rings and a veil covered him. The Thunder Wave failed to touch him, but it didn't protect shuckle from the Dragon's Rage attack. Shuckle winced, but was unmoved. "Now Shuckle, you use Withdraw!" Shuckle gave a yawn and went inside it's shell. "Now Toxic!" Shuckle popped it's head out and shot a glob of toxic material towards the Dratini. "Now withdraw again!" The Shuckle did again tuck himself in it's shell. "Now Rest!" The Shuckle then fell asleep, restoring the minor damages done to it by Dragon Rage.

"Crap, Dratini dodge toxic a use wrap on Shuckle" said Avery. Dratini dodged the toxic attack and wrapped right around the sleeping Shuckle. "Now Dratini use Water Pulse" Dratini fired off a wave of water. this attack is too close to dodge there is no way he'll be able to get out of one. thought Avery. "Okay Zach this is the Manuvear that'll decide the battle, there is no way you can dodge it. The water will flood into your shell"

 

OOC- I wonder if you realize that you have used four attacks and almost none are actually injury attacks except toxic, so I don't think you can win.

Zach started laughing. "Hahahahahah! If you'd know anything about pokemon, you'd know that Shuckle has the strongest Defense and Special Defense of every pokemon. And by the way, you're wrapping around shuckle's shell, squeezing it won't do much given my previous explanation of Shuckle. And now your sooo close for this!" Shuckle woke up with a sigh. "Shuckle, Toxic once more!" The Shuckle shook it's head and poked it's head out. It then shot a gunk of Toxic towards the Dratini that was up close.

 

OoC: That was on purpose. Shuckle has the worst attack and special attack of any pokemon, but has the best defense and special defense. he's more of a sit and wait for the foe to die because they can't really hurt me pokemon.

"easy, Dratini move your around the shell and dodge." Dratini moved around the shell and dodged the toxic again. "now water pulse him again" Dratini fired a wave of water again and flooded the shell of Shuckle. "The reason why I wrapped around Shuckle's shell is for easy movement and still staying in close range, now Dratini starting moving around the shell" Dratini moved quickly around the shell keeping the water inside the shell pushing it back and forth. "Now dragon rage" The blue flames soon engulfed the shell in a blue fire. Dratini might get hurt a little, but shuckle can't stay out of its shell or go in it

Shuckle got a bit of water in it's mouth. "It's pretty easy to get the water out with all the holes in the shell." Zach said with a hint of worry. He didn't want Shuckle to get hurt. The water poured out of Shuckle's shell. Shuckle popped it's head out of the shell and noticed that it was being engulfed in blue flames. "Shuckle, just Withdraw again, wait for Dratini to get tired!" Shuckle smiled and nodded. It poked it's head back inside it's shell and rested it's Hp back.

Hm? smart move. This Zach kid is better than I thought. Dratini will get tired soon I have to finish this up quick "Okay Dratini, Stop dragon rage and change to water pulse." Dratini changed dragon rage into water pulse and the water waves again started swarming into the shell at all ends completely filling the shell with water. "You know with Shuckle sleeping the water will now start to drown him, I suggest you give up if don't want to get him that hurt" this match is as good as won

[Mr. Hyde]

"You would risk my pokemon's life for a win?! What kind of trainer are you!" Zach raised his hand to stop the fight. As the waves stopped, he went up to the Shuckle. As soon as enough water flooded out, Shuckle's head popped out of a hole. As it gasped for air, Zach petted it's head. "You okay buddy?" The Shuckle gave a nod. Zach returned it to it's pokeball. "That's your workout for the week." The rest of Zach's pokemon were staring in amazement. His Heracross looked the Dratini straight in the eye.

The viciousness left Avery's and Dratini's eyes. "Well that was still fun, I would've stop it myself if you didn't do it yourself. If you didn't I would've asked what you were thinking." Avery returned Dratini to its pokeball. "If you weren't such a jerk earlier I would've gone easier on you than I just did." Avery began to walk away, but Dratini came back out of its pokeball. Dratini stared Heracross right back in the eye and winked. "Dra Dra Dratini" {Don't worry I would not have killed him I'm not like that} Dratini said. It then went right back into its pokeball. "Um, Dratini? You're embrassing me coming out like that" "Dra"{oops}. Dratini smiled at Hercross and went back to its pokeball. "Hope to see you again Zach" said Avery. Avery went to the pokemon center to heal up his pokemon. He decided to rest a little while during the time they were gettin healed.

Zach gave a sigh of anger. "Shuckle's not even my strongest pokemon!" Abra hovered next to Zach and patted him on the back. Zach looked back at the Silent pokemon. "Fine...i won't get too angry..." Abra gave a smile and clung to Zach's back. Heracross still looked frustrated. He wanted to fight the Dratini as well. Cyndaquil, Horsea, and Mareep just stood there. "Well...Let's go...We'll beat the gym leader as soon as we go to the pokemon center." Zach said as he and the other pokemon walked towards the pokemon center.

Avery left the pokemon center after his pokemon were heal and saw Zach again. "What are stalking me just because I beat you once" said Avery. "Shhessh, y'know relaxing once in a while might do you some good." Avery saw how all his pokemon were around him, trying to cheer him up. Ah, I see now, he loves his pokemon a lot, maybe a bit too much, that just might get him in trouble one day. Avery left Zach and went back to Viridian forest. since the gym leader is currently doing stuff might as well check my traps and see if anythinng fell in them He soon got to his first trap. He noticed someone and hid in a tree. what is the kid looking for He sat there and started to watch.

Zach huffed at Avery. "I have a feeling we'll meet again soon." he said walking into the center. He approached Nurse Joy and with a stern voice said, "Would you be able to heal my Shuckle." he said as he put Shuckle's Poke Ball on the desk. Nurse Joy smiled and took the Pokeball, placing it in the auto-healing machine. After a quick jingle, she brought the ball back. "Thanks..." he said picking it back up. Before he exited, he put all of his pokemon in their balls except for Abra. "Well Abra, let's go somewhere to meditate." Abra nodded as he walked to an open field. Abra and Zach both went into a meditative position. *Abra...did i do a good job today?* Zach said in his mind. *Don't worry...you were fine..it's just Shuckle has a few flaws...he's a really good pokemon, but sometimes he doesn't have the power to support most of what he does.* Abra replied. *Thanks Abra...* Zach smiled.
