Pokemon - The Great Adventure[started][accepting on OOC thread]

Hitmonchan crossed his arms in front of his face and most of his body to try and block the damage from the cut attack. *Underling? We are all equal in this family man!* Hitmonchan waited for the cut to hit him, then right after, he ran in for the final combo he was gonna throw out, He jumped and did a 360 spin and threw a right hook right into Kadabra's face and then grabbed Kadabra's arm and tried to throw him.

 

"Ok sounds great. Well we can get rested up tonight and leave in the morning, if that sounds good to you."

"F.. Family?" Kadabra was in shock, he didn't avoid the attack, he now knew that he wanted to be with them. He did not fight anymore and let himself hit the wall, he was just in shock at the word. It was like taboo to him. He slowly got up after hitting a wall, he was wobbling. "Family?" Kadabra looked at hitmonchan, "I accept your family..." Kadabra waited for a pokeball to hit him. "I can have a family."

[Daxter]

Hitmonchan didn't go on anymore, he stopped. Michael pulled out a Pokeball and was about to through it...he stopped. He then put it back and walked over to Kadabra and helped him up. He then held out his hand in hopes Kadabra would understand. Sandshrew jumped up on Michaels shoulder and Hitmonchan took his place by Michaels side. Michael felt like this wouldn't be the same without Hitmonlee out here, but he knew Hitmonlee needed to rest.

Kadabra took Michael's hand. "I, I..." Kadabra then ended up giving Miichael a huge hug. After, he telepathically spoke to him, "Thank you young human, Hitmonchan's words have moved me, I wish to be a part of your family." Kadabra never communicated with a human before, he was sensitive. HE then Turned over to the little Abra. Kadabra had an Extra spoon with him and gave it to Abra, "Practice with that, It'll help you when you evolve."

[Daxter]

Michael began to walk back in the Gym. "Ok everyone, it's gonna be dark so, we all have had a long day so lets go sleep." Michael ran into his Hitmonlee, who was fine. Michael through out his Mankey. So there he was with all of his Pokemon, his family. He went into his giant room and jumped on his bed. Sandshrew hoped on his stomache, mankey jumped in his little bed, and so did Hitmonlee and hitmonchan. Michael had an extra bed, which was now for Kadabra. So they all went to sleep, tomorrow his journey starts.

Kadabra was happy with his little bed in a room full of peaceful pokemon. His bed was quite comfy and he had high hopes for his new owner. He then slowly fell asleep. Then, a nightmare occured. He remembered the torture he went through with team rocket, the pain and suffering of when he was an Abra. He then remembered why he hated humans. Why he despised them! But Michael was diffrent. Or was he? Was he? That single thought haunted Kadabra's mind through out the night. "Was he? Was he? Was he? was he..."

----Now Morning-----

Michael woke up early, he looked around the room and saw that everyone was still asleep. He picked up Sandshrew and set him down, he then proceeded to get up and walk out. He got in the elevator, and went down to the bottom floor. He left the gym and started to take a walk, he felt the need to clear his thoughts. He walked into this one forest area near Pewter and saw alot of wild Pokemon. But Pokemon were the last thing on his mind right now.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach sighed. "Well...who know where we're headed for now." Abra sighed as well. *Who knows...I don't care.* Zach laughed. "I know you don't..But we should start training for the next gym we go to." Zach said as he released Horsea from his ball. Abra smirked. *Child's play. Are we supposed to battle?* He asked. Zach nodded. "You guys need to do your own things." Horsea shot a Bubblebeam towards Abra. He was hit many times by many bubbles. *Ahhh!* He'd never battled before. An energy glowed around her as she released a Hidden Power attack. A giant beam of light engulfed the Horsea. It bounced a couple of times and then shot a smokescreen followed by a ball of blue fire...Dragon's Rage! Zach was amazed Horsea had learned such an advanced technique. Abra couldn't see. The Dragon's Rage exploded on contact and Abra was knocked out. "Nice job Horsea...looks like someone needs to start training." he said to Abra. *Yeah yeah...shutup Zach* he said with a chuckle.

[Daxter]

Michael eventually made his way back to his Gym. He went inside and up to his room and found all of his Pokemon still there. "Ok guys, lets get going huh?" Has he said that he began to back a bag full of just general things he would need on his trip. He brought a sleeping bag, money, and many other things. After packing everything up he decided not to return any of his pokemon, he didn't want them to be all cramped up in Pokeballs. So he went down stairs and told he friend that he was now in charge of the gym, and he said he'd be back someday. So Michael went out to find Zach so they could leave.

As Kadabra Watched Michael Pack, he began to think, "Is this human really that diffrent? Oh great elder Pokemon, please guide me to the correct path." Kadabra decided, if he won his next match, whether it be training or real, he would stay by Michael's side, if he lost, he'd take it as a sign to get out of there ASAP. "Oh I hope this adventure doesn't end up as a regret." Kadabra wanted to stay.

[Daxter]

Once Michael was finished packing he walked over to Kadabra. "Ok Kadabra, there is only one rule if your gonna be in our family...we always watch out for each other." Michael felt kinda funny talking to a Pokemon, but all of his pokemon understood him, and he understood them. "So just so you know, we all protect each other alright." michael turned, and began to walk. "So guys where should we go first?" He asked Sandshrew and the rest of the pokemon. None of them gave him a response, truthfully they didn't know where to go either.

Kadabra understood english quite well, he just couldn't speak it. Kadabra got up and followed the other pokemon to the outside. It was a bright and beautiful day. When no one knew where to go, Kadabra pulled the map from Michael's back pack. He opened it up and pointed at the train station that led to Johto, he had always wanted to go there. But of course everyone else had their own oppinions.

Michael saw what Kadabra had pointed at. "Johto?" Michael looked over at Sandshrew who was once again on his shoulders. He then looked over at Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Mankey. None of them looked like they had a problem with this. "Ok, well if thats where you wanna go Kadabra, we will all go with you. But first we have to go find Zach, cause we are gonna travel with him." Michael put the map back in his bag and they started to walk throughout Pewter looking for Zach.

Zach was rubbing Horseas head when he saw Michael. He sighed and looked at him. "First i want a rematch Michael...They way i won at the gym was...Unexpected...but unfair. So before we go anywhere, i would like a fair battle." Horsea gave a snort. It was pretty cute although it was trying to be threatening. As it snorted, a couple of bubbles poured out. Zach gave a slight chuckle, but was still trying to be serious.

Michael thought about it for a moment...he didn't really want to battle right now, he would rather just leave, and then he had an idea. "Ok Kadabra, here is your chance." Michael knew Kadabra would be a wise choice, just to see how this battle would play out, he knew Kadabra was strong, and he wanted to see how much power Kadabra did have. Hitmonlee was kinda mad, he wanted to have the rematch...but he understood what Michael was doing.

Kadabra was searching along side with Michael for Zach. WHen they found him, he wondered if the Abra still had the spoon he gave him. *A battle? Ahh, good one Pokemon Elders. Well, that is if he decides to use me. He doesn't have to win the entire thing but I need to win my part!* Kadabra became determined to win his first battle with Michael, whenever it may be. He tossed his spoon in the air and caught it with a tight grip. That's when Michael called him up! *Yes! Time to see, what will my fate be?* Kadabra got in front of Michael and prepared for battle. *Time to show off!*

"Guys we really should be going, we've wasted enough time standing around and chit-chatting. At this rate we'll get there in a week." Trinity knew she was exagerating, but they needed to get a move on. If not then she would have to leave and go on her own, and she didn't want to do that. She hadn't ever traveled with other traners so she knew it would be a different experience. She was looking forward to that.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach smiled. "A Kadabra, huh?" he asked. "Shouldn't be too hard. This time, i think i'm gonna use my Cyndaquil." He pulled out Cyndaquil's ball and threw it. Cyndaquil appeared with a yawn. As soon as it saw a Kadabra standing beside it's trainer, Cyndaquil knew what the interruption of his nap was for. Cyndaquil shot fire from his back, showing off of course. *Let's do it!* he said with a little dance.

[Daxter]

Michael saw what Zach threw out, he was a little surprised. "Cyndiquil huh? Very risky move. Kadabra couldn't put that thing from here to Viridian. But ok let's do this!" Michael knew this would be a good fight. *Ok Kadabra, lets use our telepathic link to beat these guys, if I don't yell out an attack, we will have the element of surprise!* Michael was waiting for Cyndaquil to make a move.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach smirked. It was time to show off a devastating combo that was sure to work. "Okay Cyndaquil, use Smokescreen!" Cyndaquil sucked in a bunch of air, and mixed it with ash. He blew it all around the field. "Now, Flame Wheel in place!" Cyndaquil's back flared as it started rolling in a cirlce. "And finish it with a Swift!" As he was Flame Wheeling in place, Cyndaquil shot out stars that caught fire. "Hmph..." Zach said with a smug look.

[El Beasto Perezoso]

After escaping the trainer, Trent's squad was unhindered in their way back to HQ. As he approached the hidden entrance, Skarmory flew down and landed beside him. The 6 original Grunts unmounted the item as Trent approached the cliff face. To the naked eye it was completely natural, but when one placed their head along the rock and looked along the cliff, a small indent could be seen wherein was a secret door. Trent spotted the indent and walked over there with the Rockets following. He pressed his hand against the door, initiating the palm print scan and retina scan. After this was done the door opened and the Rockets marched in. The scientists were already waiting for them and immediately instructed the 6 Grunts where to go. Trent dismissed the rest of the squadron and continued to the elevator to the Boss' office to give his report. After exiting the elevator on the top floor and reaching the Boss' door, Trent rang the intercom.

"Commander Tsunami reporting from the Pewter City retrieval mission, sir," he spoke into the panel.

"Ah yes, you've returned. Enter," crackled the speaker.

The door beside Trent slid open and he stepped in to the room. It was decorated with various books and gadgets that the Rockets had developed. The room was a quiet maroon color with a black circular carpet in the center. On it was the Rocket logo.

"I'm assuming all went according to plan, yes?" inquired the Boss from his desk.

"Sir, yes, sir," spoke Trent, "After breaking into the museum we quickly found the item in the storage basement. There was a young trainer her tried to stop us from leaving with the item but we evaded him easily. No civilian casualties or injuries just as you ordered."

"Very good Commander," said the Boss with a smile, "Our scientists will have work to do on the item before it shall be brought into play again, and when that time comes I will expect you ready as always. Until then the time yours, do what you wish. You will notified when the experiments near completion."

"Sir, thank you, sir," said Trent. He then walked out of the office to his private quarters. He released Seadra into a tank of water and Skarmory. "Good job guys, I'm glad I can always rely on you two."

*Tch, too easy* Kadabra said with his telepathic link to Michael, He ended up using Protect to bounce Swift stars everywhere, most likely hitting Cyndaquil. *Hmph.* Kadabra then jumped back out of the area to get a good look at what had happened, *Now Cyndaquil, what's your next move?* Kadabra prepared himself for a Confusion attack, that would definatly be helpful. He prepared himself and put his spoon in place in his hand.

[Mr. Hyde]

Cyndaquil, still in the smokecloud, had guessed he hit Abra. But Zach outside saw it differently. "How'd he get out of that....probably used protect...GAH! That moves soo retarded!" he screamed in his head. "Cyndaquil, jump out of the Smokescreen." Cyndaquil did as instructed. "Now...use Quick Attack." Cyndaquil blurred out of sight and appeared behind Kadabra. "Now, Flame Wheel!" Cyndaquil smirked and rolled into a flaming ball and launched himself towards Kadabra.

KAdabra didn't see the Quick attack, so he was vaunrable to the flame wheel. Kadabra was sent flying into the air, *Tch, I just have to make the best of the situation!* Kadabra saw the pattern and knew where to aim, he looked at Cyndaquil, while still in the air, and used Psybeam which can cause confusion. *That should even things out!* Kadabra then landed on his feet used another Psybeam towards Cyndaquil.

[Mr. Hyde]

Cyndaquil did not see the beam of energy shaded like a rainbow coming right towards him as he had just gotten out of his Flame Wheel and was hit. "Cyndaquil, use Quick Attack to dodge that other beam!" Cyndaquil shook off the rainbow energy and blurred into the air, avoiding the other Psybeam. Cyndaquil was mad. He stamped the ground like a sumo wrestler and made it's back flare with fire.
