The Spirit Game is what the Paladins call the hunt for evil spirits. Evil spirits resides everywhere, and may be everything. However, spirits cannot be seen by normal people, only by those who possess "The Eyes" to see into the Spirit World. However, even if they can see spirits, they cannot touch or hurt them. The spirits may hurt humans, though, and most spirits do. This is why the Paladins are hunting them. Paladins are people who have been trained to enter the Spirit World, and in a way become spirits themselves. This way, they are able to engage the evil spirits in battle and slay them.

 

The Paladins

 

As said, the Paladins are slayers of evil spirits, and they are able to enter the Spirit World to do so. Most Paladins does also hold other superpowers, like lightning manipualtion and the like. Paladins comes from all corners of the world, from the cold Siberia to the hot Sahara deserts. The Paladins stronghold is Babylon, which is a fortress floating in the sky above the Middle East. All Paladins has the power to transport themselves to Babylon once they enter the Spirit World, and this is where all Paladins are assigned missions and where new Paladins are trained to fight the evil spirits of the world.[/align]
