Except in this case we had Cherry, who knew no other outlet for her love, and Proto who seemed okay with the abuse until just now. So.... moot point is moot?

Sure. Well since Proto isn't on at the moment and you offered to help him it would mostly be beating you.

Right now, Yusei is fighting Harald to decide who shall fight Team New World in a battle for the future. Yusei managed to sucessfully create a OTK situation. But Harald saw through this. Later, Harald has Yusei trigger his miracle play and activates Gjallarhorn. The countdown to Ragnarok has begun and Yusei is right in the middle of it.

You say off topic but it's about the only thing on the club's general topic for the last few pages most likely, lol.

 

Anyway, the card seems like the typical villain kind of move of completely screwing the hero over with a card that would be useless outside of their deck.

I plan to get back into it and am in fact rewatching the series from the beginning. 4Kids actually decided to put subbed episodes online, technically on their own website but I watch them on Hulu with much better quality lol. Even more surprising, the subs are good. Even more surprising than that, they're not trying to pull their edits into the subbed episodes. So now I don't have to watch fan-subs for it, which is part of the reason I stopped.

It should be fun. I love card games on motorcycles! The more episodes to watch of it the better. And rewatching some of the earlier episodes makes me appreciate Jack getting depressed about losing his title because he starts talking a lot less after that, lol.

 

I also lol'ed when I actually watched the first dub episode all the way through a few days ago. They made so many changes and threw in little sub-plots that didn't exist it both was and wasn't funny.

 

Well if we go long enough on this we can beat the half-page expectation.

Considering the original author of the Yugioh manga stopped at the end of the original series, it's all technically filler, lol.

 

But I know what you're talking about. It must be a bunch of sub-par stuff that doesn't seem to really fit in with everything else. I didn't watch anything past the Dark Signers part but I also felt it seemed dumb to continue after that. Though recent things seem to be getting pretty interesting.
