Void got re-dressed, so to speak, after Chansey fixed his hand. "Bye bye now!" Chansey said politely, "Yeah, yeah, thanks for the help." Void was a little annoyed but got out of there and moved to Cloud Square. "I will fight Thorn and win, I have a stronger will than he does, also type advantage is on my side. I wonder if he knows that most members of the Guardians are Psychic?" Void then paid close attention to the line, it was long to get in but eventually it was Void's turn. There was an Apalm taking tickets, "Excuse me sir, can I see your ticket?" the Apalm asked politely, "I have no ticket," Void responded. "Well then you can't come in."

"Oh I believe I can."

"Well I'm sorry but no one is allowed in without a ticket."

"I don't need one because I'm here on very, very important business for someone of far great importance."

"Okay, sir SECURITY!" The Apalm yelled, two Machoke's came out of nowhere and ran over to Apalm instead of Void and put their hands over his mouth, "Sorry sir! It won't happen again!" One of the Machoke's said to Void.

"Make sure of it." And Void just walked in. A lot of people in line were confused, Apalm called for Security, but why did they help Void?

OOC: I will not start the opening ceremony until everyone gets a seat inside and is out of the hospital.

 

IC:Thorn had heard the anouncement saying that all contestants were to report to the arena immediatly and looked at the pokemon looding through the hosptal doors. "I'll see you later, in the preparation meeting." Thorn said before joining the crowd and walking through the street and it the Sky Arena. No one knew why it was called the Sky Arena as it had never been used before. Thorn turned the corner to see a huge dome building made from glass with the outer edge of the dome like any normal stadium. There was a thin line that ran edge to edge of the dome straight throught the middle. Thorn walked round the fountain and up the ramp leading to the preparation room with 2 machamps guarding the door. "Ticket please," one said holding out his hand. Thorn gave them his red contestant ticket (audience tickets are blue) and they stamped it with Rayquaza stamp. He proceded through and down the corridor into a large room where many pokemon were sitting down as a Shiftry stood on the pedastral infront of a large display screen. As Thorn walked in, 5 minutes late, he pointed to an empty seat and said "Sit please." He seemd suspicious but Thorn sat and listened to what he had to say. "Wishcash will introduce the quarter finals and I would like you all to report back here, then we will begin the battles." After he had finished speaking several Machokes opened the double doors on one side of the room, leading to exclusive seating in the arena. Might as well get a good seat, and wonder who else in in here , Thorn thought to himself. He turned around and saw viod in the room.

Rayquaza was traveling in the sky, at speeds scaling 100 miles per hour. He weaved between the buildings of Tournament City, it wasn't long before he would be at the Sky Arena.

"Ahh, Thorn." Void stood up and walked over to Thorn, "Do you know about the legendary Pokemon coming to this arena? It's the one, right on your ticket! Rayquaza!" Void was simply humoring him until their fight. "Look, I apologize for earlier, I am not one to force others into doing things, but before you end up fighting me, please, just smell the incense, I'll tell you why I need you to if you want." Void wanted to avoid an inevitable fight, he didn't want to harm an innocent pokemon, but if he had to he had to, but he would only fight in self defense, so he would only attack if Thorn made the first strike.

[Raiza]

Thorn walked towards Void and grabbed him pulling him into a corner. "Fine I'll smell your damn incense as long as you leave me alone afterwards " Thorn said, annoyed by being harrassed. He grabbed the incense from around his neck and accidently saw inside his cloak. "Your an alacazam? Why do you hide your identity?" Thorn said quietly as to not expose Void's identity. Holding the incense in his hand he smelt it. He felt slightly light headed and put his hand to his head. "What's supposed to happen now?" he said.

"In the Guardians no one is to know of your race. There are racists out there. It also puts us in a separate world than other pokemon that separates us from normals." Void helped keep Thorn Steady, "You now have an open mind." Void then but his right hand on Thorn's head, Thorn's mind opened up completly, thousands apon thousands of memories stormed through there and then he saw it, "THE TIDAL BELL!" Void screamed out loud and let go of Thorn. "I have seen it! I have seen the Tidal bell!" Void then just froze up, un-moving, he just stood there.

[Raiza]

Thorn shook his head clearing it form the buzzing sensation he had just experienced while Void had touched his head. "Now that's over and done with, have a nice life," Thorn said walking through the doors to get a good seat. What the hell was that all about? The Tidal Bell, what's that got to do with anything. If I had an open mind and he saw it through my memories, then I must have seen it when I was a kid or something.... His thoughts were interupted as a large Skarmory sat next to him. His eyes were dark and his seemed to have an evil aura around him.

[Naimo]

Vanilla felt somewhat pleased that they were transfering to the Sky Arena - at least it meant he had an even bigger advantage, as he had the entire air to fly around in. Being just over 6'6", it was hardly surprising he didn't fit in the normal stadium - as far as he was aware, due to the majority of Pokemon being under four feet, the stadiums were therefore designed to be for small Pokemon.

 

I wonder whether there'll be any water there, he thought to himself as he flew up towards the stadium. Once he arrived, he landed on the sidelines and waited.

"Hi Thorn. I'm doing fine, thanks for asking." Lago replied. Lago then waved goodbye to Thorn as he got out of bed. Lago was feeling much better now. "Alright, Cloud Square it is." Lago began walking out. "Hey Kid." Edge said.

 

"Huh? Yes, what is it Mr. Edge?"

 

"Good luck Kid."

 

Lago nodded and then continued to Cloud Square. Blaze quickly ran up to Lago. "Yo Lago! You did awesome in your first match!"

 

"Oh thanks a lot Blaze." Blaze and Lago continued their way to the ticket booth where they had their tickets stamped and then headed on to the arena where they sat in the contstants' stand. "I wonder who I'll be facing next?"

 

"Hey don't sweat it Lago, I'm sure you'll do just fine like before. Well, except this time, let's not faint again."

[Raiza]

All the pokemon were forced out of the preparation rooms and were made to take a seat. The thin line across the top of the dome split, so now the arena was entirely open. Suddenly, the foundations shook and the seats rose in the air as with the battle ground iin the middle. They were climbing high and were among several skyscrapers in the sky. The rest of the arena, was on the ground and the acutal battle ground, seating and 1 preparation room rose like a huge pillar. That was why they called it the Sky Arena.

 

Fireworks were set off brightening the arena and many pokemon used bubble beam to cover the arena. It was a grand opening and Wishcash's spectating pool rose onto a small section on the adge of the arena. There was something aproaching in the sky, in was green and it flew like a serpent. Rayquaza swooped into the arena and roared, causing the whole audience to be silent. "May the quarter finals.... BEGIN!" he shouted in his deep and expireinced voice.

 

Machokes were doing hand signals to show where the pokemon must go before the first battle begins, Tropius vs Sharpedo. In the preparation room all the pokemon in the contest who had qualified were training and some were waiting for there first battle (Tropius,Misdreavus, Gallade and Elekid you have to be there soon if you want to participate). Thorn walked over to the tropius. "So your fighting next then?"

[Naimo]

Vanilla bent his neck down and nodded. "I saw your match, by the way, and I loved the way you-" Before he could say anymore, he was ushered on to fight; looking confident, he stretched his neck again and flew into the arena. The moment he landed, dust flew everywhere, and for a brief startled moment, Vanilla thought he had felt some of the structure collapse.

 

Don't fret, it's not going to, he told himself as he watched the fin of the Sharpedo pop up first, before the top half of its body appeared. There was a brief silence, a pause, before the fight started.

 

Vanilla stayed on the spot as his wings glowed; the glow suddenly divided into smaller leaves, before they suddenly started hurtling at the Sharpedo. The Water Pokemon began to swim and attempt to repel the leaves, yet each one found its target. As the leaves were hitting the Sharpedo, Vanilla's cheeks had puffed up, before a single seed shot out with ferocious speed. At first, it seemed it would miss the Sharpedo - before it narrowly latched onto the fin. Thorny vines hastily wrapped itself around the Pokemon, forming a firm net.

 

Not determined to be beaten, the Sharpedo suddenly launched itself out of the water, and slammed into Vanilla like a gigantic waterball. Thanks to his heavy weight, Vanilla managed to stay upright, and due to his additional resistance against water, the attack wasn't as hurtful as it could have potentially been. As the Sharpedo landed in the water again, it suddenly flailed around, as if having a seizure - which it was, due to the implanted bullet seed.

 

Although Vanilla was confident this would pretty much finish off the Sharpedo, it was better to be safe than sorry. His wings glowed again, and a single boomerang-shaped leaf slashed its way through the air to hit the Sharpedo on the head. He just watched with satisfaction as the Sharpedo was slightly thrown into the air, and forcefully brought crashing down into the water. A few seconds passed, yet he did not surface.

 

Looks like I won, thought Vanilla to himself, though he decided to wait for the referee's decision first.

[Proto]

Elekid slowly transferred himself to the Sky Arena, toke his seat grudgingly, then began watching the fight with a short amount of anticipation. "What are they even thinking? They have a Water-type against a Grass-type who has the Flight factor and the Water Pokemon can't even move on land! Its easy to see who would win here!"

 

 

Then he saw that the Tropius had knocked the Sharpedo into the water and sighed. "Honestly, who expected otherwise? The poor fellow simply had a bad match up. Though hopefully he'll survive." The Elekid then pondered about who he would be matched against. My only worry should be Ground, but I have Ice Punch for that. If I have a opponent with the Underwater Factor then I could just electrocute the water, Flight factor requires Flying-type, which I am also highly effective on. So I have it easy on this terrain.

[Raiza]

The referee, a machamp, watched as the sharpedo fell into the water. He looked back at Vanilla and was surprised at how easy he had beaten the pokemon. "SHARPEDO IS UNABLE TO BATTLE, VANIILA THE TROPIUS IS THE WINNER!!!" machamp said, pointing at tropius. He gave the thumbs up sign to several buneary who bounced next to tropius to show him the exit. "THE NEXT BATTLE IS..... RAD THE ELEKID vs. EMBER THE PONYTA!!!"

Void snapped out of it when Trooius won the match. "I-I need to inform the elders." He was talking to himself and headed for the restroom, there were two other pokemon in there, both security officer, "Excuse me," he asked after they were both done washing their hands, "I need you to make sure no one comes in this restroom for, a good five to ten minutes." The security guards, Machoke and Hariyama, immediately knew he was a Guardian and both replied in unison, "Yes sir." and kept guard outside. Void put down the incense in a sink, he started the water which put it out, "yeh shiva" Void started saying, "omno go ju wakinm" then out of the incense holder came smoke that showed another member of the Guardians, "I am aware of the location of the Tidal Bell." The member in the smoke replied, "Good, are you near it?"

"Yes, but I have to wait for the tournament to end."

"Very well, after you've obtained the Tidal bell, report back and we shall bring the Silver wing to awaken master Lugia."

"Thank you brother Xatu!"

"No no, thank YOU brother Alakazam."

The smoke faded and he stopped the water. Void then left the room and asked a Charmeleon outside the restroom to light the incense, he had no problem with it and lit it for him, "Thank you." and Void sat down in his seat in the competitors room.

[Proto]

"Looks like its time....." Rad muttered as he walked onto the stadium. Ponyta, Fire-type, none of the factors apply here except for the Speed Factor. Elekid walked onto the stage while on the other side the Fire Horse Pokemon stood on the other side. When the match began the Fire Horse Pokemon started charging at Rad, back ablaze, it then began spinning itself into a ball of fire.

 

Flame Wheel, counter with Protect Rad thought immeadiatly as a green barrier of energy appeared around the tiny Electric Pokemon just a second before Ponyta hit him. The spinning Ponyta flung over him, soaring without control in the sky. Chance!

 

Rad then began spinning his arms wildly, sending a large blast of lightning at the hurtling Ponyta, hitting it and sending it crashing to the ground. A large amount of dust was sent hurtling out, and then, seeming in pain, the Ponyta stood up, preparing for another assault.

 

Likely a charge attack, but this time I'll send it right back at him. The Ponyta then charged at Elekid at high speeds, planning to slam into him. The small Elekid's arm then glowed with a white aura and in also charged at the Ponyta. Ponyta then smashed itself into Elekid's chest, despite the pain Rad managed to keep his ground and he then smashed his Dynamic Punch right into the Ponyta's chest.

 

The Fire Pokemon was knocked to the side, then falling to the ground defeated. Rad continued to breathe heavily but smiled in happiness, he didn't think that the Horse Pokemon would be getting up any time soon.

"They better hurry up and call my name, Im getting overly excited over this and i cant wait to get called to go out into battle, Remember, Be tough and let no one bring you down" . Britney told herself as she watched the match go by quickly, It seemed rather easy for Rad to be the ponyta quickly and easily, They both looked like fierce opponents against each other but Britney was determined to beat Rad if she was ever matched up against him, She always had her secret weapon against every pokemon.

[Mr. Hyde]

Aero woke up in his room. He rubbed his head. He tried to remember what had happened before he had blacked out.

 

Shuckle bursted into the room. "Aero the Gliscor, are you ready for your second match?!" Aero nodded. He was still exhausted from fighting the Toxicroak from yesterday. "Well get in the arena, we're ready." Aero got up and stepped outside. He looked up and saw his opponent.

"MY Opponent is Dark the Weavile!!!" He said with eyes agleam.

"Yes...now start!" Dark smirked and with a sudden Quick attack, buried an icy fist into Aero's stomach before he could take off into the air. Aero fell to the ground and lay there unconcious.

"...The winner is...Dark...the Weavile." Shuckle said. The Weavile gave a heinous laugh and left.

 

Aero sighed. "So i was beaten by a Weavile...perfect..."

[Raiza]

Thorn watched the weavile make quick work of Aero. "NEXT TO BATTLE IS.... SHOCK THE ELCTRIKE vs. BRITNEY THE MISDREAVUS, COULD BOTH OF THE POKEMON PLEASE REPORT TO THE PREPARATION ROOM PLEASE!" the referee shouted through his microphone. It doesn't matter whethere you win or not you can still get on the team.... Thorn thought. Wait a second, wasn't there supposed to be a meeting or something? He stood and past some empty seats to a machoke. "Wasn't there supposed to be meeting?" Thorn asked suspiciously. "It's been cancelled due to the surprise appearance of Rayquaza." the machoke replied. There is something about this machoke.

Void overheard Thorn's word of a Meeting, then it hit him, "That's right! A meeting!" he was going to join the argument until he heard Machoke say it was Canceled due to Rayquaza. "But that doesn't make sense! Even with rayquaza, no, BECAUSE of rayquaza shouldn't the meeting go on? I have to talk to Wishcash. But first things first, I need to get out of here, simple enough." Void headed for the restroom again, and the second he got in threre he used teleport to get out of the Competitors section. We weren't allowed to leave, so he had to sneak out, the new objective was to confirm this information and confront Wishcash.

[Naimo]

Vanilla looked down at the Bunearies surrounding him and, being careful not to tread on any of them, cautiously left the battlefield. He could tell that the smaller Pokemon were being wary, and he was more than pleased to be backstage; at least there were less Pokemon for him to accidently flatten. He entered the preparation room, and forced everyone to let him in first before they could leave. Hmmm ... why couldn't I be a slightly smaller Pokemon?

Void ran through the halls, he actually never got caught and finally found the door that lead to Wishcash's private pool. "Gotcha!" Void slammed the door open to see Wishcash just swimming in the pool. "Wishcash! Why was the meeting canceled? Shouldn't the fact that Rayquaza being here make it even more important to have the meeting?" Wishcash slowly turned to Void, "Everything is fine, please return to the competitors room."

"But sir-"

"Everything is fine, please return to the competitors room."

"Just listen-"

"Everything is fine, please return to the competitors room."

"Wishcash!"

"Wh-what? What is it oh great and noble guardian?"

"A-are you ok?"

"N-no I'm not, you see-" Wishcash then froze up. he then said one more time, "Everything is fine, please return to the competitors room." Void decided to turn around and head back, "Something isn't right here."

Blaze and Lago was buying some food to eat while they watch the tournament. "Here ya go Lag!" Blaze exclaimed, handing Lago a bag of food. "Umm.... You gave me a nickname?.... Oh and by the way Blaze, I don't have any hands remember...." Lago responded. "Huh? Oh yeah, forgot about that hahaha...." Blaze stated as he scratched the back of his head. Nearby, Umi was walking through the area, hoping to sneak into the tournament. "(I hope no one recognizes me....)" Umi thought to herself as she held her hands together and walked with her head down. "Hey Lag let's go! Don't want to be late!"

 

"Blaze watch out!" Lago exclaimed, pointing his tail towards Umi. "Huh, what're ya talking about? Whoa!" Blaze and Umi crashed into each other with both of them falling to the ground. "Ouch...." Umi muttered. Blaze quickly got up and ran over to her followed by Lago. "Hey Miss are you alright?" Blaze asked concerningly as he helped her up. "Yeah, I'm alright, thank you.... Sorry for bumping into you." Umi responded shyly while keepng her head down. "Umm, why are you keeping your head down? Am I really that ugly?" Blaze asked grimly. Umi quickly brought her head up and looked towards Blaze. "Oh no, it's not that, it's just-"

 

"Uh, just what?" Blaze asked confusely as he scratched the back of his head. "Umm, I overheard you guys were going to the tournament, is that right?...." Umi asked shyly as she moved her foot around. "Yep! That's right, we're participating too!" Blaze answered confidently as he pointed to himself with his thumb. Umi's face suddenly brighten upopn hearing that. "R-really? That's great. Umm, if it's not too much to ask, but probably it is, would you be kind enough to take me there?...." Umi once again asked shyly, looking towards another direction. "Sure why not, we would love to! By the way, the name's Blaze and my friend over here is Lago, but I'm calling him Lag. What's your name?"

 

"I'm Umi, nice to meet you, Blaze and Lag...." Umi responded. "Well, no time to waste, let's go!" Blaze exclaimed excitedly as he began walking off, followed by Umi. Lago was left behind looking at the food that's been dropped on the floor, his eyes showing teardrops. "W-w-wait for me you guys!" Lago quickly ran after them.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

From a dark part of the entrance to the Preperation Room. Gray slightly stood out of the shadows looking towards the stands of the stadium. "Hmm.... I wonder where is this Void person I'm suppose to look after? And what's this about a meeting that's been cancled? I have a strange feeling about this. It feels sinister...." Gray said to himself.

Void ended up teleporting back to the preparation room where he saw a rather familiar looking Slowking, it must've been a coincidence, but if it was Sir Gray then he would notice Void as a member of the guardians because of him wearing a robe, so he decided to wait for sir Gray to notice him to reveal his true intents. "The infamous sir Gray huh? What is he up to? Did he not leave us? Is he to help me with the revival of Lugia?"

Blaze, Lago, and Umi arrived back at the stadium to notice that battle hasn't started yet. "Huh, I would've thought they started by now. Oh well, at least that means I didn't miss out on a chance to see a battle." Blaze stated. "Umi, well here we are. So are you looking for your parents here?" Lago asked. "Oh well.... Umm.... Actually, I'm in the contest...." Umi lied. "Wow really? That's great! We can sit together!" Blaze responded as he pulled Umi and Lago to the nearby stands.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Gray sensed a familiar presence in the air, a presence that only a person from the Sacred Guardians could have. "Ahh.... He is here...." Gray spun his body around and spotted Void. Gray then calmly walked over to Void and gave a gentlemenly bow. "It is an honor to meet you Young Master Void.... My name is Sir Dubious Landor Grayson, also known as Sir Gray...." Gray stated in a calm and polite tone.

"Ahh! Sir Gray!" Void said while bowing, "It is a pleasure, one with as much knowledge as you of the pokemon world is an honor for me to meet, I thank you for coming." Void was currious though, "Have you come to aid the order in the revival of Lugia? If so I know the location of the Tidal bell, I got it from that Lucario over there. Although, he himself does not show respect for our people." Void didn't like Thorn, not one bit.

Gray nodded towards Void's question. "Ahh, the Tidal Bell? If you know of its location then this is a rather fruitful day indeed.... As for the Lucario, judge not the one whom not understand...." Gray then took out a tiny notepad and pencil from his small pouch and began writing. Afterwhich he placed it back in the pouch without saying another word. "Very well Young Master Void. You see, the Sacred Council has request that I accompany you on your quest to awaken our dear leader, Lugia. I've retired, however, when I heard of Master Lugia's predicament, I decided to help the guardians once again. Afterall, Master Lugia and I have a long history. Anywho, where is the location Young Master Void?"
