Pokemon Darkcrystal: Rise of Arceus [Started/ Not Accepting] {Aura Blazer and MKS}

Void ended up getting lectured on how not to judge Thorn, meh he should've saw it coming, then when Sir Gray asked him about it's location, Void answered reluctantly, "Far, it is very, very, very far away. It is somewhere withing the endless maze that is Digglet cave, which is far from here, past the Dividing mountains that divide the two regions. I don't know how we are to get there." Void knew he was to join the group who where fighting Arceus but he also had to collect the Tidal bell and revive Lugia. It is going to be a long trip.

Gray's eyes widened a little bit upon hearing the location. "My.... That is far...." Gray responded, still keeping his calm voice. "There is something else I want to ask you Young Master Void.... Have you visited the Mayor of Tournament City? If so, did you sense anything strange emanating from him? Also, I heard a meeting was cancled. Just what exactly was this meeting about and why was it cancled?" Gray asked as he placed both of his hands at his side instead behind his back like usual.

The meeting information is classified so much that Void doesn't even know. "It had something to do concerning the fighters. And I went to see Wishcash, there was something odd about him, he repeated the same thing over and over until I said his name, he came to for a little but then just said 'Everything is fine, please return to the competitiors room.' Like he was saying before." Void had never heard of this before. "I mean if it was a sort of Confusion move he wouldn't of came through by me calling his name, what do you think Sir Gray?"

"Hmm.... I see.... But could it be?...." Gray began murmuring to himself as he began to walk around in circles while in deep thought. "There is a certain possibility, but why?...." Gray murmured to himself quietly. Gray then stopped and looked up, turning his attention back to Void. Gray turned his body back and walked towards Void again, stopping when he was a couple feet away. "I'm very concern of this...." Gray said with his usual calm, almost emotionless, voice. "Tell me Young Master Void.... Did you, in any way at all, sense a sinister aura about the Mayor? Cause if so, then it might be the work of Dark Crystals I'm afraid...." Gray stated.

Britney quickly floated into the arena as soon as she heard her name, She knew that this was her moment to finally prove herself to everyone who ever messed with her, For whoever decided to take control of her and ruin her life. She entered the arena and stared at her opponent. So its an Electrike, Their is a chance i could catch him off guard with Sleep then attack him from their or should i just do Perish Song and end it....I'll try the off guard attempt . Britney thought to herself as the match had began.

 

The tension around the arena was starting to get uncomfortable, For a few moments Britney and Shock stared each other down until Britney got enough of it. "This is hopeless" . Britney said as a sudden purple wind flowed into the arena, Slamming against Shock. Shock attempted to dodge the wind, But he only made only half of his body out of the wind as the other half was pummeled by the wind. Britney looked up when she saw the thunder slam down towards her. She was surrounded by a green shield as the Thunder just helplessly slammed against the green.

 

Britney knew she wasn't getting anywhere with just using these simple attacks so she was planning out her strategy. Shock was blasted by a sudden cold wind, Being slammed by ice that hit him everywhere. Britney knew by now he was starting to get weakened so she needed to deliver the final blow.

 

Britney's eyes stared at the Electrike, Who was suddenly drowsy, Moments later he fell over, Asleep. Then Britney's final attack rolled on as Shock woke up, He flinched helplessly as his dream was destroyed and he was flinching helplessly as Britney's beads began glowing, Infront of her was a ball of darkness that flew at Shock. Shock slammed against the arena walls, He didn't move at all. And who thought i wasn't going to win . Britney thought to herself as she waited for the ref's saying on if she won or not.

"WELL LADIES AND GENTLEMAN WE HAVE QUITE A FIGHTER HERE!" the referee shouted as the audience cheered and whistled. "SHOCK IS UNABLE TO BATTLE, BRITNEY IS THE WINNER! the whole crowd started chanting her name. That was brilliant, she will most likely make it on the team, Thorn thought. The quarter finals will start soon and Thorn wanted to be ready for it.

"Wow! That was an amazing battle! That Britney sure is tough!" Blaze yelled and whistled in excitement. "Boy Blaze, do you have to be so loud?...." Lago asked. "Hehe, c'mon Lag, lighten up, it's a tournament afterall, and that battle was amazing! So far, I've seen a lot of tough competitors, I wonder how will I stack up?!" Umi smiled and looked at Blaze. "Oh I'm sure you two will do great. I can't wait until I see you two battling." Umi said with a hint of excitement in her voice. "Heh, ditto to you too Umi!" Blaze responded. "(Oh that's right.... I lied about being a competitor....)" Umi thought.

"Dark crystals?" Void was a little confused, "But the records say they are gone. It's highly unlikely that Dark Crystals are at the works here." Void then looked at the floor, "But it does make sense, It seems unlikely but it makes a whole lot of sense Sir Gray." Void then began coughing violently, he then smelled in his incense and he was fine, "Sorry about that, those coughs come up from time to time..."

"There is definately a possibility however that the crystals are the cause.... however, we will keep this underwraps for now.... We will continue on as normal until we have solid proof.... but becareful Young Master Void, if it is the case, then the Mayor might try to get rid of you...." Gray responded calmly as he looked at the stadium. "Those coughs, I hope nothing bad comes of it.... Anywho, how do you suppose you'll do in the tournament quarter finals? I, of course, have full belief in you. Afterall, you are his son...." Gray stated.

"Do not worry of my coughs, I am fine as long as I have my Odd Incense on me." The second Gray said "his son" Void cheered up a bit, "Yes I know, that is why I was chosen for this mission. Also, in my battle I was only hit once and it was to gain advantage over my opponent, are you in the tournament sir gray?" Void did wonder, he did not need a ticket to get in but was he a competitor? It would be amazing to see him fight.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, DUE TO UNEXPECTED CAUSES THE TOURNAMENT MUST COME TO AN END....." thhe referee shouted as the crowd shouted to protest. "THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO, IT HAS ANYREADY BEEN DECIDED BY THE MAYOR....." the crowd started to protest even more and the ref switched of his microphone. Many machokes came through the doors behind the seats of the competitors section and were commanding the compititors into the town hall for the team to be decicded. This is it, Thorn thought, standing and following the crowd. He felt shure that he would make it on the team.

 

~Wishcash's Private Pool~

 

A lone shiftry walked down dimly lit path as the shadows danced across his face. He came to a small sphere shaped pool with a black glow inside it and a dark presence in the room. Wishcash was at the top of his pool, like before, and a dark glow covered his body. The shiftry bowed as he entered the room and spoke "The tournament has been cancelled and the team is ready to be chosen, you majesty." Wishcash looked down the corridor to make sure the the door was closed. "Thank you. It has come to my attention that a member of the guardians is here and is suspicious, get rid of him." It was not Wishcash's voice, it was something darker and greater.

Britney floated in the crowd, She knew she was going to be one of the first to be called into the team. "Now i just need to figure out who else will be going with me" . Britney said to herself as she looked over at Shock, He was giving her the dirty look as they all floated or walked on to town hall. She looked over at Thorn and knew he was a strong competitor. OK, lets look at it this way, Definitely im getting in, That tropius is getting in, And then my mind goes blank, Maybe Shock could get in but then again, He lost to someone like me and im the underdog in this whole thing . Britney thought as they neared town hall.

Thorn walked with Gray over to the area where the Team was being announced, Void made sure to whisper so no one but Sir gray would hear. "I don't know if I'll make it or not, If I do I need to find a way to get people over to the Tidal bell, then down to the Whirl Islands where Master Lugia is trapped." That was all on Voids mind. He didn't care whether or not he made the team, he just wanted to awaken his master Lugia.

"Huh? Cancled?! But why?!" Blaze was confused and kind of irritated that he didn't get to battle. Lago on the other hand was now nervous to see if he would make the team. Umi still had troubles keeping up her lie, but was relieved that the tournament was cancled so she didn't need to explain the truth. As the machokes all told the competitors to get to the town hall. Blaze, Lago, and Umi stood up and went towards the hall. "Well, this is it...." Blaze stated. "Yep.... I'm so nervous right now, but I gotta believe in myself...." Lago responded. "Don't worry, I'm sure you guys will get in." Umi reassured them.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Only once eh? And you used it to gain advantage? My, my, your father would be proud...." Gray said kindly. "Oh, and I'm afraid that I'm not in the tournament, however, I was giving the Guardian's Seal to gain part in any events I see fit...." Gray walked with Void over to the town hall after hearing the announcements. "I'm sure you'll make it Young Master Void. Everybody at the Eternal Library have faith in you, and we will rescue Master Lugia. No matter what hardships we'll face along the way, we'll rescue him." Gray stated.

[Mr. Hyde]

Aero's eyes widened at the sudden anouncement. "SAY wHaT!? Cancelled?" Aero had only participated in two battles. One win, and one loss. That Weavile pretty much made a fool of him though. How could a Weavile just knock him out with just one Ice Punch. He knew that Ice-Type moves had a crazy effective effect on him, but he thought he trained hard against the elements he was most weak against. "Oh well...but why has it been cancelled?" He asked himself.

[Naimo]

Vanilla heard the announcement, and just blinked; cancelled? Surely the tournament was going well? What was the motivation behind this cancellation? Did someone cheat? ... But that's impossible, they can't have ... in fact, I don't think that girl ever fought. Hmmm ... oh well, looks like we'll have to go with the flow for this one. Surely it isn't being cancelled for some ludicrous? Deciding he should go out and see what he could do, he managed to wriggle his way out of the preparation room.

As the compietitors entered the room, Wishcash swam to the surface of his pool which was above the rest of the room so he could see. He had closely watched each of them in their battles and also observed their atitude to. Shiftry was stood on a ledge next to Wishcash's pool and leaned in so that Wishcash could whisper something into his ear. Shiftry stood and spoke to the crowd. "To reach the Evil One and his army of darkness, Arceus that is, we can take two routes. To intercept his force you will need to split at some point. The Team goes as follows......Lago the Dratini, congratulations....... Blaze the Chimchar, congratulations........ Thorn the Lucario, congratulations and ........Vanilla the Tropius, congratulations." He paused for a moment and leaned in to Wishacsh again before standing. " Aero he Giscor, congratulations and finally...... Britney the Misdreavus." There was talking amongst the crowd and several complaints were shouted. "Well done to those who made it on the team and to those who didn't, unlucky. Would the team members please follow me as the Sky Arena is descending." He walked down a corridor that lead to a small room with a display like in the other rooms. "We shall discuss the plans in here," Shitry said. Thorn was first to follow and saw that the other contestants were being escorted out by Machamp.Something is strange about that Shiftry.... Thorn thought.

[Naimo]

Vanilla heard his name, and he grinned to himself. Seeing as he made it, he followed Thorn out of the room, while keeping careful not to tread on him. As he saw the room however, he just blinked; the door looked barely wide enough to let him slip through. Oh great, couldn't they have picked somewhere better for me? Nevermind, I shall go and ... try and get through. If I can get into the preparation room, I should be able to get into here. He stooped his neck down as they entered the corridor, and as the door came closer, Vanilla realised that he was right; he'd be able to get in with no problem ... hopefully.

Void was in shock that he did not make it, "This... This is an INSULT! I will show them how deserving I am to be on the Team!" Void decided to turn around immediately and used teleport to appear next to Gray, "Come on sir Gray, we shall go and revive Lugia, and we shall show how much those fools were wrong!" Void then just left the Stadium as it descended. "Master Lugia, I will show them! I swear it!"

Blaze's and Lago's face suddenly lit up with excitement. "WHOOHOO!!!! WE DID IT, WE DID IT, WE DID IT!!!!" Blaze and Lago rejoiced at the same time as they danced around. "I'm so happy for you two." Umi stated. Suddenly the both of them stopped. "Oh that's right, you didn't get to join...." Blaze responded. "That's too bad...." Lago said, lowering his head. "Ah, don't worry Lago, I'll see you guys again some other time. When you're on your mission make sure to write to me. Hehe, just kidding." Umi responded. "Alright, well we gotta go, goodbye." Blaze and Lago then left to the meeting. Umi went outside and sighed. "I want to go with them...."

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Gray's eyes widened in surprise. "(Something sinister is going on here.... I have a feeling that darkcrystals are behind this.... I can see a dark aura surrounding the Mayor and his guards....)" Gray thought to himself. Gray then turned to Void. "Young Master Void.... I'm afraid that the Mayor and his men might are under the influence of darkcrystals. I can see the dark aura surrounding them." Gray said.

[Raiza]

Shiftry followed Sir Gray and Void knowing in full that they were gaurdians and who they were. He grabbed Void by the shoulder forcing him to a stop. "Excuse me Void, but could you come with me, it's about the team." Wishcash had informed him afterwards that any gaurdians needed to be on the team to prevent them. "And Sir Gray, I assume. You must come with me too. You both are needed ergently and Mayor Wishcash shall not be impressed with any delay."

Gray nodded his head and followed Shiftry. "(Let's just see what kind of game you're pulling....)" Gray thought to himself as he motioned his hand for Void to come. "Hopefully this is something of good news...." Gray stated out loud. Gray looked back at Void and used his psychic abilities to communicate with Void. "(Becareful of this one Young Master Void.... He is a grass and dark type, which means he has the advantage, but of course, it's not just about type advantages....)" Gray stated telepathically to Void.

Aero heard his name announced and was suprised. "Wow...i won once, and lost once...And i still got in..." His face lit up soon after saying this and he bursted into excitement. "YES YES YES!!!" This was the moment he'd been training for. "Suck it Weavile!" He said with a smile. Although if he had heard him, the Weavile pretty much would've Ice Punched him in the gut again. That wouldn't be too fun.

As Void was taken to wishcash he thought of the idea that they were controlled by Darkcrystals "Can Arceus's influence even reach all of the way out here?" he wondered. He knew it was not all about type when it came to battles, but the fact that he was a shiftry did make things harder but at the same time more interesting, "I sure do hope there was a mistake, either way I would just be honored to meet Wishcash."
