Fidel Castro
If he used that specific word then that is why he was fired. That aside he was hired to teach from a book, not indocternate children into his political ideals.

Fidel Castro
Not really. Would it be right for a math teacher to say 2+2=5?
Raylen
You can get fired for not doing your job. I'm pretty sure saying Dubya is a dumbass is tantamount to not doing your job.
seattleite
It's True,America is going to come crashing down somedayWhether it's economy, or revolution, or something elseI would say it's good to be an american now but not in the future... Cin
Alot of places butt in foreign affairs coughukcough. So you can't just blame the US. Why do you guys drag up old things? WWII was what 60 years ago. People get involved to make it better for the people in the country, to protect themselves and make allies. (Oh and for Oil...) Красивая Ведьма
I for one am glad that America "meddles" in foreign affairs. As an American I support her and want the best for her. We (unless you aren't an American) should want America to excel and use our influence. Many nations need our influence to stop injustice (Muslim Theocracies, Communisms, etc.). I wish we would embrace Imperialism to a reasonable level. By that I mean we need a new surge of nationalism and not the overzealous imperialism of say the former Japanese Empire. Unlike so many other countries who are fine with letting such horrors exist in the world, we choose to interfere.
Fidel Castro
Im expecting some flak for this comment but... Capitalism, while in theory a good idea, no longer works for the majority of americans. The rich people in this country have perverted capitalism so that they get richer and so that everyone else doesn't get richer. Truthfully im disgusted by the fact that a person can sit in a airconditioned office all day long, speak a few words in front of a camera, give a couple interviews to newspapers and generally do nothing special and still make half a mill a year while the poor farmer works his ass off and just barely makes enough money to feed his family. Truthfully i would embrace certian communist ideals (Mainly the idea of paying a person based upon importance and/or how laborus their work is) in place of certian capitalism ideals. That said who heard about how we accidently killed]/s] bombed 5 afghan soldiers a few days ago? Heh, yah. With allies like the U.S. the 'terrorists' can just sit back and watch us accidently kill their opposition. That said we call the taliban terrorists but in a sence we are terroists as well since we, like the terrorists, kill/bomb innocent civilians and soldiers.
