Because people are idiots, and want to blame Obama or Bush. Sure, Bush was a no good president that helped drag America into the ground, but this was not something that he single handedly had something to do with. It is PARTIALLY his fault, but not much. Added note: All the oil coming from this one well brings up an interesting point. The oil companies dig this stuff up for practically free, then go to sell it for $2+ a gallon. Imagine the money they make. Also remember that this is only one well, and there are many, many others.
