.Frostpaw
Parents just don't understand. I can understand technology easily. My grandparents just fail miserably. For example, i was in Gamestop. I ask one of a person who works there how much the new Playstation Move will cost per control. They're $30 each, as is the sensor/camera. My grandmother, who uses my PS3, thinks you have to buy 2 controls and 2 sensors. I tried to explain it to her, but she says "You don't know what you're talking about, as usual." She says that every time I try to explain technology. I just *facepalm* every time she refuses to believe me.

Trollin', means pretending to be that very teddybear face but actually you're harassing someone intentionally. Kinda like those betrayers and shizzle. Dark
If your grandparents are old, tell them that trolling is the same thing as being a communist. Trust me, they'll understand. Technology is fairly easy to understand. Maybe parents are idiots.

Fidel Castro
My parents recently put in hardwood floors and my dad wanted to send me some pictures so I could see how it was going. In the subject line he simply wrote, "hard wood." I almost deleted because I though it was porn.denise v For months my mom begged me to set up a Facebook account for her. I finally did. When I asked her how she liked it, she told me she doesn't use the inbox function since she has email for that, she refuses to post on people's walls because she thinks its creepy for anyone to see it, she won't use chat because it is too weird, she is annoyed by seeing anything on her minifeed, and she won't post or look at pictures because it is an invasion of privacy. Have fun with Facebook, mom.Becca Peterson My grandparents have a Notepad file with only !"·$%&/()=@#~‚¬¬;:_ written in it. They use it to copy/paste if they ever need them while writing, because they never found out how to use the Shift key.Gabby C My dad thought that online banking would make the computer into an ATM and cash would come out of the printer.alison levine, Vanier college I loled. Yankee
There was a commercial recently for a brain improvement pill. One of the satisfied customers was a 40 + year old woman. She was asked what made her want to try the pill. She said, and I quote, "I found myself on more than one occasion putting my phone number into my microwave" Mind you, she knew this was a commercial that was being played multiple times throughout the world, even getting it's own paid programming hour. She still said this, and still put the "more than once" clause in.
Cin
We grew up with it they didn't. My mum knows what she needs to know, like the DS she plays (She doesn't need to use the Wii or anything like that) and the internet (well more than enough to do her job of being a travel agent). My dad could be better. I've helped my next-door neighbour, but one, with her new laptop.
