Dementuo
Well, If you even get one, then yes, you have to put together a Deck.
Ooraloo
I'll get started.
Dementuo
Ok. Just be aware that you might not get an Exam Duel, so you might have to wait to use it. I'll work something out with SSD.
~Duo~
Ooraloo' date=' Your app is accepted, but change the Ace Card so that it isn't so OP'ed please. If so, then yes you can join.[hr']Y'know, I'm starting to wonder why no one has bothered to go see Akira, considering he just collapsed for no apparent reason, and why no one has noticed that Zero is gone. Seriously, are people really that stupid, or do they even care? Well, my character is still trying to get over his "seizure" and thinking deeply of what he saw. And two, he's in the cafeteria, so he wouldn't exactly know.
Dementuo
What about all the other people who actually saw it happen, huh?And why is it that no one ever posts on the RP until it's like, 1:00 in the morning?
~Duo~
Different time zones, I guess.

~Duo~
Well, all the students are being tested, people have seizures, etc. Dementuo knows more.
evilfusion
And if you need help with how RPs or RP duels work...uh, PM me or something. Heh.
Ooraloo
I've been in a RP on some other site, but I have no clue how the duels are gonna work.
evilfusion
Usually, your character has a deck (whether you have a decklist to reference is optional) and you duel much like you would in real life, except you more or less can alter which cards you have in hand or facedown at any time. The overall goal is usually not to win ASAP, but to have a fun duel both to show and to write. I advise skimming through the RP and observing the posts involving a duel, to give you a general idea of how the actions work out. ~Duo~
Don't do stuff like used banned cards. I'll show you a scenario that is really unfair. "I'll go first! I play 3 'Pot of Greeds' and draw 6 cards! Wow, what luck!" He exclaimed after viewing his cards. "I set 3 cards, and use 3 'Bait Dolls' to activate them! Card one is 'Bad Reaction to Simouchi'! Card two and three are 'Gift Card'! I win!"
evilfusion
Right. Banned cards are illegal, and overpowering your turns, especially to the point of not giving your opponent a chance, is entirely unfair. Countering everything they do is also kind of cheap. Dementuo
In a nutshell, Use the Advanced Formatting, which can be found on the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG website, you can at any time alter the cards in your hand and on your field to change the outcome of a Duel, and make sure that you're not using custom cards that are too OP'ed, cuz that makes it too easy for someone to just win. ~Duo~
Plus, renaming banned cards so you could use them is so unfair and stupid, like this. Not Monster RebornSpell CardSpecial Summon 1 monster from either player's Graveyard.
evilfusion
Has someone actually done that?
Dementuo
Yeah... Banned Cards are like Invisible Coin Blocks in Mario Games. They are abused to hell, they make the game ridiculously hard to play, and they take the fun out of it. Bottom line, don't use them. And only use the REAL LIFE card effects, not the Anime effects, because those are just as cheap, and chances are, you could find a way to win using the same cards without those effects. Finally, don't short-post. Short-Posting is where you post 3 lines of text or less. a good ratio would be for every line of text you put in the Quick Reply box, it equals about 3/4 of a line in the actual post. So if you're using the Quick Reply box, then put in at least six lines of text, and you should have a nice, long post. There you have it.
~Duo~
Yeah, but not the "Not Monster Reborn". You know Element Six, There_Goes_Tokyo...Again renamed Dimension Fusion. You're the one who told me he butchered up the word.
evilfusion
Oh right, how could I forget? The utter mispelling of Dimension Fusion...and then when told it was banned, changed it to a card that was IDENTICAL to Dimension Fusion in everything but name.
