The alien glow you used is to think imo.

The BG stock doesnt go to well with the render, and the render isnt good.

and the thing in the front, what is it? i mean comeon, it creates depth but Doesnt look good.

Yeah the render was a little choppy so i had to add a bigger glow

render doesn't fit with the bg

glow is too much

It seems kind of disproportaional, but it could just be because you lined them up next to each other like that.

 

Nothing really works. The colors are too high contrast, and something that innocent in a dark forest? :|

 

Also, the render is a bit choppy around some of the edges.

Its not a dark forest really, there are fairies and pixies in the bg

Eh, I prefer the red, actually. If it matches the background too much, it doesn't stand out. My vote goes to the second one, without the weird thing blocking the way.

 

If you applied the glow from the third one to the second one, then I think that would be best.

And yes, it's dark, and it's a forest, therefore it is a dark forest. I don't care how many pillows, unicorns, or rainbows you put in there. It's still a dark forest.
